Hi All.

First time user of the App!   I am , along with 2 children , are using a 5 day global pass during 20th Dec to 27th Dec

I have called this ‘ Xmas Trip’ in the App

I have added manual journey for the train rides i think we will take.  Because I have the 3 passes on my App, when i save a journey ( Paris to Strasbourg ) it asks me to select the 3 passes.   So far so good.  When i check a few days later, a few of the journeys have disappeared- some from my trip, some from my daughters etc.   Ant ideas what is going wrong.  I have yet to activate the pass

You better start with creating just one Trip and then copy that trip to the Trips for your children on the day before your departure.

As the timetable for December not might be avaliable for some trains yet and as you anyway should double check all times just before departing on your travel, you will save work by only using one Trip right now.

Hi Anna,  thanks for the reply.   I have one trip, i think, at the moment.   The Xmas Trip.   When I add a journey , lets say Paris to Strasbourg, it asked me to save to a trip, or in my case 3 trips.  One for me and one each for the children.  So far so good.   I replicate this for al the joureys i will take.   I know 2 are fixed as i have booked reservations for them, but some of the others are the ones I plan to take but will double check the exact details before closer to the time ( as you wisely pointed out ) .   I just cant work out why some are disappearing..

looks like i was able to add 95% of the ‘ journeys’ i wanted to add to my Xmas Trip.   Apart from 2 which i can figure out nearer the time ( Lugano - Como on 24th  &  Como - Lugano on 26th  - i wanted a RE train but cant seem to find that at mo but it is only a 30 mins trip away - taxi if needed !)

And i duplicated my Xmas Trip to the children’s Copy Of Xmas Trip.   And they all stayed in there !   Woop !

My next question -  on the My Pass screen of the App.  My status is 2/3 ..  Next Activate this.  It is also the same for the 2 children.   When do i click ‘ continue ‘  ??

There are a direct RE and 2 direct S10 trains each hour, see sbb.ch. They will eventually show up in the Rail Planner app.

On the day you start your trip. No need to activate earlier. You can test if you want, with a start date well in the future, but it's best to cancel the activation after you're done playing around.

ok thanks.   So when i am closer to travel , move to next step 3/3.    My first day of travel on the Global Pass will be 20th Dec so maybe on 18th/19th Dec ?

As I wrote, there's no reason to do it in advance. You can only cancel activation before the validity starts, which is at midnight. If anything happens after that, e.g. you wake up ill, then it will be to late to cancel, the clock starts ticking and you may lose travel days.
