Travel disruptions

We are booked on 10.36 train from Bolzano to Munich (RJ88) on Tuesday 8th September, then 15.17 from Munich to Berlin (ICE1004) same day. Will either or both be running?

I have created two delay compensation requests for me (1501244 and 1501498) and then two more for my travel partner (so four in total, because we experienced the same delays).It’s been over a month since I created these requests and I haven’t heard anything from Interrail (not even a “we’re looking into it”, nothing...are they even looking into these, if yes how long does it usually take, do they need any more info from me? etc.).Is this kind of delay in processing requests normal?

  I can't add travels to my pass but it still has 4 travel days last, im travelling with my card that I was able to win trough discover eu, but today I was sitting at the trainstation and it kept saying "please try again or contact customer service if it keeps happening"I have contacted them but have read that it can take days for them to reply. And know im a little shaken up because im in the middle of nowhere in austria alone at a random trainstation

I booked Carcassonne to Zurich through rail planner and the reservations.  I had a hotel that I couldn't cancel in Zurich.The SNCF train was late on first part, but SNCF cannot help as the tickets weren't booked by the Rail Planner App as one journey. Has anyone foubfmd a solution.  It looks like I'll lose the reservations for trains i can't now make today and the hotel.  The activities I had booked on Zurich may also be lost. Total cost £250+.  Has anyone had any luck with claiming a rebate.  The ticket office in Toulouse (en route)  saud SNCF wll find me a hotel.  This now doesn't look true.

Travelling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen on 8th August.  An email received  on 25 July from DB says to find alternative connection for our journey because of a timetable change but the info on their email shows a connection we did not book.  First leg and final leg match our journey but the second leg has a different train listed though the times are the same.  First leg 1000 hours Amsterdam to Osnabrück Hbf   ICE 145Second Leg /journey 1323 hours Osnabrück Hbf to Hamburg Hbf  says ‘ICE 2532 Direction Hamburg Hbf’  however this is not the train I have a booking for.  We booked /have a reservation for the  ICE 202 arriving Hamburg 1515 hours.Final leg/journey is 1628 hours Hamburg Hbf to Copenhagen on the  RJ 13462 Direction Koebenhavn Following the link on their email I get to a page that has a link to the pdf for our original reservations and further below the seat reservation info there is then a heading saying  ‘Your alternative travel itinerary on Sat 8. My wife and I have just returned from spending a week in Rome.  We travelled from  London and back on a four day pass.  Our planned route out was London to Paris; Paris to Lyon; overnight in Lyon; Lyon to Milan; Milan to Rome.  A few days before we were due to travel out we learnt that there was a national rail strike on the day we were scheduled to make the two journeys getting us from Lyon to Rome.    I won’t go into the detail of what we did in terms of rearranging our travel plans and having back up plans should things not work out, other than to say that we spent a lot more money than intended.   Imagine my astonishment, therefore, when arriving at Milan Centrale station to discover that although many regional trains were cancelled, not a single long distance train was cancelled and virtually all were running on time.  Had we simply taken no notice of the official advice about potential cancellations we would have arrived in Rome significantly earlier than we did. 

Hello, I am currently trying to get from Bulgaria to Greece, specifically from Kulata to Strymonas. There should be a rail replacement bus service, but details are scarce. I arrived at Kulata at 16:45, and apparently the bus should have come at about 17:00.  At the station, the ticket office was closed. All I could do was ask other station staff who hardly spoke English and vaguely pointed in the direction the bus stopped and said 5 minutes of walking. There was no sign at the station to indicate the time of the bus or where exactly it stopped. I walked in the direction they pointed, but there was no sign indicating where the bus stopped. I will try again tomorrow. As far as you are aware, is there still a functioning rail replacement bus service?It is still on the Interrail map. Thank you for your help. Would would be the next best way to get to Greece, in your opinion? If it fails tomorrow too … Kind regards,

I just woke up this morning to find sitting in my inbox an email from Rail Europe informing me of a Trenitalia strike on 23/7-24/7 and, to be honest, I haven’t a clue what to do. We are travelling out on 23/7 from London St Pancras on the 11.31 to Paris. Catching a TGV to Lyon and on the 24th catching two Frecciarossa trains from Lyon to Milan and Milan To Rome.  We are then spending a week in Rome before returning.  Do I have to cancel the trip?    I suppose I could try and re-route to go on the TGV to Milano Porta Garibaldi but then I would still be stuck in Milan?  Suggestions please!!Peter

I had a night train meant to leave Mannheim Germany at 11pm to go to Prague. It was delayed a few times but at about 1am the screen shut off and I was told by other passengers that it was canceled. I couldn’t find any record of this on my phone but the main station was shut and there were no staff around. The holiday inn was booked out so I hung around in the lobby and found a 3am flix bus for 90 euro. That all worked out and I made it to Prague. When I went to submit my compensation request they required my eurrail pass ticket.I however, didn’t activate the travel day because after the first delay of the train I was anxious I would need it for another journey if I waited till morning. But because the hotel was not an option I caught the bus that I paid for out of pocket. I have one Adult and one Youth second-class German Rail Pass. my son is 13.We need to travel from München Hbf to Peschiera del Garda on Friday 24 July 2026.We wanted to go via the brenner pass but that isnt operating ( and this was included in our pass )The route we are considering is:RJ 81, München Hbf 07:34 to Venezia Mestre 16:46 Frecciarossa 9750, Venezia Mestre 17:30 to Peschiera del Garda 18:46RJ 81 appears to be diverted via Salzburg, Villach and Tarvisio because of the Brenner closure.The German Rail Pass information says that DB-ÖBB EuroCity and Railjet trains operating between Germany and Venice are included, with a supplement required. However, when I try to reserve RJ 81 through Rail Planner, it says:‘One or more Passes don’t cover this journey.’ :/Could anyone please confirm:Are German Rail Passes valid on this diverted RJ 81 from Munich to Venice? ¡Hola a todos!Necesito ayuda urgente porque estoy viajando ahora mismo en tren y la app Rail Planner me ha dejado tirado.He intentado mover mi pase móvil a un teléfono nuevo, pero el QR que generaba la aplicación llevaba a un enlace que daba error (404). Después probé a introducir los datos manualmente varias veces y, al parecer, el sistema se bloqueó por seguridad. Ahora ya no me aparece la opción de “Mover pase”, solo el mensaje “Contáctenos”.Ya he enviado el formulario de soporte urgente con mi número de pase y el Device ID de mi teléfono, pero todavía no he recibido respuesta y el revisor pasará en cualquier momento.¿A alguien le ha ocurrido algo parecido mientras estaba de viaje? ¿Cómo actuó el revisor? ¿Suelen ser comprensivos cuando se trata de un fallo de la aplicación si puedes enseñar el correo de compra o la confirmación del pase, o podrían poner una multa igualmente?Cualquier experiencia o consejo me vendría genial. ¡Muchas gracias!
