We have semi-folding bikes that we would like to take to Carcassonne from England. Anybody done that trip with Eurail?

It’s a question for each train company, rather than Interrail.

Folding bikes are generally not a problem, and go as normal luggage. However Eurostar has a maximum length of 85cm - beyond that it’s treated as a bike.

What are "semi-folding bikes”? I'd think they either fold or they don't.
