I want to travel on the Eurostar from St Pancras on Sunday 25th October 2026. There is not one service that I  am able to make a reservation on despite there being tickets available on the Eurostar website. Any suggestions? Thanks

You don’t say where you want to travel to.

Eurostar does get booked up, and the seats for passholders are limited - even if there are cash seats available.

In my experience, passholder availability often becomes good again closer to departure, but you can’t always rely on that.

Also, if you can find a train that's acceptable but not perfect, you can reserve that. And make a free change to a different train (if availability returns) up to 7 days before travel.

Other options: Eurostar Snap (doesn’t require a pass), or plane or ferry.

Thanks for your reply. I’m travelling to Strasbourg from London - all routes (Paris, Lille and Brussels) are unavailable on that day.

I suspect a holiday is starting or ending. There are indeed no passholder seats available from London to anywhere (Paris/Lille/Brussels/Rotterdam/Amsterdam). From about 2 weeks in advance, some seats may become available in trains that are not full.

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure what’s going on – literally 15 minutes before I’d purchased my Interrail passes the services all had availability. Once I was logged in with my pass numbers, all Eurostart services became unavailable.

If you’re using the Interrail reservations portal, unfortunately it doesn’t show live availability (or pricing) when you’re not logged in.

What made you think there was availability?

Please note that, if you are looking on the Interrail website and don’t log in, then you need to click on the "Check availability” button to see availability.

Because it said that there was availability! I logged out and checked again and now it’s saying that the services are sold out. They must have sold all the tickets on the services in that short period.
