Question

First time app user - totally confused

I started off my trip planning by working on my desktop - buying the pass, reserving seats, etc.  I’ve now booked at least 7 legs of my trip, most of which I bought directly on the Interrail site, although some reserved seats I bought directly, ie, from OBBE.

Enter the app.  I’ve downloaded the app, and connected my pass to the app. I set-up my upcoming trip. I’ve also pulled in my seat reservation bookings (at least the ones I did with Interrail) and they now sit in Settings/seat reservations/your bookings.

My question is:  I guess I’m supposed to add my daily trips in the My Trip section, but shouldn’t there be a way to connect my prior bookings and the My Trip activity?

Am I missing something?

Do I have to manually add every leg of what I’ve already booked?

Yes, you must add all your trains to the app - that's what generates your ticket.

Unfortunately, there's no connection to the trip planner on the website. You need to search for your trains again in the app.

Thank you.

Is there any way to add the seats I’ve already booked and paid for to the app, or does that not matter as long as I have the printed ticket with my seat showing?

Reservations cannot be added to the app and there is no need to, as long as you can show them on a screen or on paper. Printing is not needed, except for some night trains.
