Hi! Me and my friend were supposed to travel to Amsterdam via Paris from Avignon. We tried several times to book through the app and website but did not succeed. We then got the tip that you can book reservations at the train station- which we did for a ton of destinations. However this time the train was full between Paris and Amsterdam and we then decided to only go to Paris. When we got the receipt we had been charged the full price of the tickets (72€), which is almost a third of the price for the whole pass. No one at the train station could help us or even understood what interrail was even though we showed our passes to the lady in the reception. Is there any possibility to get a refund somehow? 

I’ve bought two passes in our country’s third party website.I would like to know that whether should I redeem the passes in one cellphone or we should do it separately?Because I would like to order our seats together. and there’s one more question, I can’t quite find the log in place in my rail planner app, is it that I don’t need to log in?

If my pass has been activated, can I still add/remove some routing with my pass ? for example, I activated my pass on 1Dec22I forgot to add routing from Paris-London on 3Dec22can I still add this route to my pass ? 

Hello!my husband, son and myself need to travel this Tuesday July 27 from Basel to Milan. We have Global Eurail First Class passes. I am wondering if I must reserve seats for this leg or if we should just turn up at the station and hop on?! Any advice would be appreciated! 

We are planning to do a day trip from Milan to Venice on Wednesday 28/6 or Thursday 29/6. What is the best way to do this with our first class global pass?

Hi,I am planning to use an Interrail ticket this july-august (10 days in 2 months). I have already booked a seat on one of the train legs where this was mandatory (Paris - Hendaye). For others (e.g. in Spain) this isn’t possible online, and for others there were no more seats available, but fortunately I managed to get alternative routes, where seat reservations are not mandatory. In some of the legs, I do get the information in the Interrail planner that making a seat reservation is recommended (not mandatory). For other legs, seat reservations seem neither mandatory nor recommended. My questions are:Can I trust the information in the Interrail planner regarding seat reservations? I mean is it updated?Can I avoid seat reservations if they are not mandatory, or do I risk having to off-board the train if it is full and I do not have a seat, regardless whether seat reservations are recommended or not?I see that a lot has been written on the topic of seat reservations, but I could not fin

Hi, I am planning using a flexi mobile pass (10 days within 2 months) and reading the FAQs I am getting confused. From the instructions I understand that I must link a trip to my pass in order to be able to activate the pass starting from X date. But I have also read that the trip I link to my pass cannot be changed once the pass is activated. So, I am wondering how my flexi pass remains then flexible.Is it because even tough I cannot change the trip linked to my pass, I do can add, remove, change journeys and cancel travel days (until the day before) to the trip linked to my pass? Do I understand right?And if this is the case … would you recommend me linking a trip to my pass with all journeys planned on all 10 days or rather link a trip to my pass with only the first journeys on my first travel date and then, as I travel, add journey by journey (meaning travel date by travel date) to the trip linked to the pass? I guess the answer partly depends on whether travel days are automatical

Why doesn't interrail give you the option to also access the app for free when you pay a supplement to get the physical pass? It seems so nonsensical. Every national railway service lets you print your tickets and also have them in their app for free.

I’m trying to find tickets for sleeper train to Prague from Karlsruhe or some place near that.And I can’t quite find any available tickets for sleeper cabins, there’s only tickets for couchettes.Is this because all the tickets are sold out or there’s possibility for me to find tickets few days later? Hi! I purchased a "4 travel days in a month" ticket, but my issue is that I planned to be too far from my home country on the last day, so my doubt is:Can I use my last travel day to take a train to reach an airport to go to my country by plane? I mean: is it mandatory that the last travelday should always include a train to the country where I live? Hope my question was enough clear, Thank you! 

Hi, My friend and I would like to catch the train from Budapest to Amsterdam before we start our cruise. As the train ride is quite long is it possible to stop over in other countries?

When I continue payment it show “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.” How can I book seat reservation? 

I'm currently planning a trip from Scotland to Croatia, and I'll need to go through customs at London. The Eurostar website recommends at least 90 minutes for this, but the only train routes all give me just 51 minutes.Will this be an issue? If so, how can I get a longer transfer?

Some companies offer a certain percentage of the ticket in refunds when the train arrives late at the destination. Can I claim the refund if I used interrail for that trip?

Hi everyone, I am conducting an academic research about the liberalization of passenger high-speed rail and currently I am trying to find which countries in Europe have competition, i.e. more than one rail operator, in high-speed rail.So far what I know:Spain has competition in high-speed rail with three companies (Iryo, Ouigo and Renfe) In Italy, there is competition in high-speed rail with TrenItalia and Italo Within France, the only competition is found in international routes: Barcelona - Lyon (Renfe) and Paris - Lyon - Milano (TrenItalia and SNCF). But for all the other routes, only SNCF.I wanted to ask if you know which other countries have more than one operator in their high-speed rail network.Any help will be highly appreciated!🤗

If I need to do personal stuff abroad other than tourism, is it ok to use interrail for that? Is it permited to repeatedly do the same journey?

Goodmorning! I have book on the OBB a ticket for the NJ 294 from Bologna to Munchen on the 8 of August, but the same train is not showing on the RailPlanner App. Do you have some suggestion? Also, even the train from Rome to Bologna on the same day is not showing on the app.

15 days within 2 months ticket is 389 euros.15 days unlimited ticket is 349 euros.Isn’t the second one more logical? Why the first one is more expensive?
