I purchased 6 Eurail passes for my family. I added their passes to my Eurail App. Booked the TGV train and paid reservation fee . I received pdf file with 6 tickets. But in my eurail app, it shows only me in the trip. How do I add others to that same trip?

Travelling Paris -Interlaken- Zurich- Lake Como-Venice-Sorrento.After buying the Eurail global pass, do we go on the Eurail app and book individual tickets?If it says reservation required… do we reserve and pay right then on the Eurail app itself?Do we need to validate tickets at the train station or do anything else?For overnight train from Venice to Sorrento, do they provide bedding or pillow/ blanket?

Is there a map of coverage in Interlaken, spiez, Brienz, Lucerne, Murren area? 

I’m preüparing for my first trip with interrail and need some advice about setting things up on my mobile. Once again thanks again in advanc to the community who have been incredibly helpful already. I have two questions: When I “create a new trip” in the app is the pass just valid for the trains shown there? If I miss a connection and therefore have to deviate from the origional plan, I assume my pass will be valid for any train I then take. Or do I have to create a new trip so my pass is aligned to the new circumstances - also if I decide spontaneously to do something different? Once I’ve got the QR code - ist this just for the one trip or is this now my pass for any journey for the duration of my 5 day  “allowance”I didn’t realise how many wrinkles of uncertainty were going to manifest themselves. Hi. Im going to Lisbon in October. I'm right now trying to book the seats for a travel 21st of October from Madrid to Lisbon. It seems like there are no direct connections or just connections that are reasonable (up to 2 stops). Does any of you know of better connections between the two cities? Best wishes Agnethe (Denmark).

I am traveling with family to Europe in December.  We are flying into London, traveling to Amsterdam, Germany, and Belgium.  It will be an 18 day trip.  I’m looking at the pass options and wondering how many days we should get, 10 or 15 knowing we won’t be traveling Christmas or Christmas Eve.  Will prices go down at all closer to travel time or keep going up?  When is the best time to buy them?

I used up all my travel days on the first pass that I bought, so I got a second one.  Now I can’t seem to find the option to update it on the app.  Does anybody have experience with this?  Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to book reservations on this train and got this message.  Does this means there are no seats avaialble? It says seat reservations are not required.

When making bookings, I see the whole trip, book seats where necessary, then pay. The ticket only shows the paid part of trip. So do I just show my pass to get on the rest of the trains?

Hola si quiero realizar la reserva de asientos con mi pase de primera clase en un tramo que dice reserva de asientos requerida, pero al ingresar solo figuran los importes de segunda clase y no la de primera, esto quiere decir que no necesito reservar? Tengo asegurado mi lugar?

Bonjour, J’ai prévu 2 trajets, un de Paris à venise et l’autre de berlin à paris. Ma question concerne les trains sans réservation de place assise. Pour ces 2 trajets, qui ont des correspondances, une partie a été réservée avec réservation de place assise et une autre partie non. En effet, il était indiqué que la réservation de place assise n’était pas obligatoire. Hors les trajets sans réservation ne sont pas visible sur mon compte.  Comment se déroule un trajet sans réservation de place assise ?

I have a ticket for today, July 19 2025, from Amsterdam Central to Dusseldorf Germany at 14:01. I bought a seat reservation through the Rail Planner app, but it did not give me a choice of seats. I do not like the seat it picked so how do I modify my seat number? Is there a way to get a forward facing seat? 

Hello, I have read several articles about using inbound/outbound days but it is still quite confusing for me. I am from the Czech Republic and I have 2 questions:1) I have a valid interrail pass up to 7 August, I will spend my last travel day (of 5) on 26 July by reaching Nurnberg (Germany), Am I entitled to use my inbound day on 27 July to get back to Prague? E.g. with a change of train in Germany or Czech station if there is no direct connection to Prague in selected time? 2) I know there is written several times that inbound/outbound days are not extra days but it is still not clear enough for me... Can you confirm me, please, that this sentence is the true in the described situation: I have a valid interail pass but I have already spent my travel days. However, I still have inbound and outbound days left. Is it true that I cannot use them if I have already spend all my travel days? E.g. I would like to do a trip to Dresden and back using my inbound and outbound days after a break i

Buenas!! que tal?? sigo teniendo algunas dudas sobre la reserva de asientos. He comenzado a planear el Interrail. En la app voy añadiendo los viajes en tren que quiero a Mi viaje. Pero ahora no me queda claro como compro los billetes. Si pone que la reserva de asientos no es obligatoria… ya no tengo nada que hacer?? puedo no reservar nada y aun asi subirme al tren? No entiendo eso muy bien…Osea si no es obligatorio reservar asientos, puedo no reservar asiento y simplemente montarme en el tren sin haber hecho ningún tramite? No tengo que hacer nada?Sólo tengo que hacer “algo” cuando ponga reserva obligatoria??? Me da miedo quedarme en tierra.  Gracias!!! :)

Hello train enthusiasts,starting at the end of september from France, I’m planning to travel to Cinque Terre through Switzerland (Bernina railway). Arrival date in La Spezia will be imposed and accomodation nearby reserved. But otherwise, I’d like to both take my time and not make any booking in advance so that I feel free to stop wherever I want in the moment.I experienced it last year in Switzerland, and I’m absolutely confident in the fabulous Swiss trains. I have an Interrail pass, no reservations needed and it’s pretty easy to hop on a train to the next station if I don’t find an accomodation.But what about Italy ? Can I travel the same way ?The route will be through Tirano, Lecco, Bergamo, Brescia or maybe till Verona, Parma. I haven’t chosen where I would stop for 1 or 2 nights (suggestions welcome), but I think I will have only short travel days so I intend not to use my Interrail pass but buy point-to-point regional tickets with no reservation needed. Hello, Should I specify every train, I am going to use when my day is activated? I need to travel from Chamonix-Mont Blanc to Annecy. I find that there is several trains with 2 changes for approx.  2 h and cca 20 minutes after 18:00. However Interail app suggestion send me over Geneve and the journey takes 6 hours with arrival after midnight. It does not work for me. Can anyone help me if I can travel only with active day without specifying train? Tomas

For starters thankyou in advance, Community.  If I were in the know I would gladly offer my advice to everyone.Today I am 90 days out on a trip from Barca to Lyon (August 4th).  I went to reserve seats for my wife, son and I and it states that I cannot.  I have (3) 1st class, Eurail Global Passes for multi days.  When I click o the Rail Planner app to make a seat reservation it launches an option to (Go to the website), so I do. On the website it states *Not available from Eurail.com.  This seat Rez can’t be booked on our website. Click More Info.  So I do.  From there it state in bullet points.  1. You can book up to 90 in Advance (today). 2. Print at home, and you get emailed up to 3 hours prior. 3. Post delivery up to 6 days before. and other facts that you will be booked in you class and placed together.  Also, you can book at the station, and only locally in Spain. What do I do or where do I go for the most seamless way forward with what I have (Eurail Global Pass)?  Is it the las

Non riesco a pagare supplemento obbligatorio del treno

I have activated a rail pass and want to get to Brussels from Marmande in SW France. The trip involves Eurostar from Paris to Brussels.  I could find seat reservations in the Interrail app. It referred me to https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/PassI went on there and booked a seat on a Eurostar for €31 and have received confirmation of that. However I can’t now find the particular train (17:55 from Paris) on the Interrail app. Any advice - what should I do 

We will be making our first trip in September 2026.  Currently planning on visits to London, Paris, Venice and Rome (with a Greek Isle cruise  between the visits to Venice and Rome) in that order.  Several questions; How far in advance can a pass be purchased?We will probably need a Global Pass (but that’s a guess), and the trip will be four weeks. When does the “clock start” on a pass?  At first use?How far in advance can reservations for specific trains be made?Are any of the trips between cities overnight? We are early risers so an early morning train is not a problem for us.We will be traveling with 3 fairly large bags, are they checked when boarding? Those may be silly questions, but we know nothing about the rail system and do not know anyone locally with experience.Thanks,
