Hi, I'm in Lauterbrunn. I want to visit the snowy mountains, but I don't want to spend more. Are there any trains that my second-class pass includes? Thanks
When looking at the station departures on the Interrail app it would show you the destination, train type and journey length at a glance so you know whether it was an RE or IC train. After the latest app update the journey length and train type has been removed from the search results and instead it just shows the destination and platform number and you have to click on each one individually to see the train type and journey length. I'm sure that I won't be the only one who is not happy about this change as Interrail usually enhances functionality and not make it more difficult to see important information
I am keen to start my journey this year from France into Spain on this special sounding train across the Pyrenees, but I am very confused by its itinerary. The Man in Seat 61 speaks of the possibility of boarding in Perpignan but SNCF just barges in and takes over when I try to check that on their site, and only shows TGVs to Barcelona! The other departure point is Toulouse, which is less problematic. What I need please is details of these two routes to Barcelona with the pricing structure, making it possible to do the journey with minimum cost. Also. can I go to one of the above main stations and simply buy a ticket? If it is as inexpensive as it looks, I won’t need to use a precious travel day getting to Barcelona.Thank you! We are travelling from the UK to Mulhouse in France via Eurostar to Paris, TGV to Strasbourg and then TER to Mulhouse on 11 June. This is one of the days identified by SNCF for strikes by rail workers in France. We are en route to the Alps the next day, so could have travelled via Belgium and Germany instead, but needed to book Eurostar before the allocation of Interall passholder fares ran out, (booked via Rail Europe) and before the June strike dates were announced, and so went for the route through Paris instead. Is there any way of changing the Eurostar booking to a destination of Brussels instead of Paris, other than buying a whole new reservation at 40 Euro per person? As far as i can see you can only change time and date, not destination, on Eurostar bookings.Based on past strikes, SNCF seem to advise only a few days in advance of strike action if a specific train will be running, but that is not much use if there is no way of changing a Eurostar booking a few days before travel i
The start of our trip to Italy begins with a flight into the ROME airport. We are then traveling to Naples. That first journey inlcudes a local train from the Airport to downtown ROME and then a train from ROME to Naples. I had to make reservations on the ROME to Naples train. What I’ve just realized is that the first leg is a train from ROME Airport Fiumicino to the ROME Ostiense station. We then have to take public transportation from the ROME Ostiense station to the ROME Termini station and we have only 30 minutes between arrival at Ostiense and when the train from Termini to Naples is scheduled. There are no 2nd class train options from the Airport station to the Termini station that morning on the Eurail app, so I’m going to schedule a separate train on ItaliaRail from the airport to the Termini station in plenty of time to make the train to Naples. My question is whether it’s necessary to cancel the Journey I already have scheduled and schedule a new Journey on Eurail for just th
HelloI booked night train tickets between Paris and Berlin with OBB Nightjet. These tickets are non-cancellable and were issued as PDFs.Unfortunately, I have to cancel this trip with my partner because her exams have been postponed at the time of the trip.1/ Do you know if there is a way to still get a refund, even partial, in cases of force majeure?2/ Do you know if it's possible to sell them to relatives and easily change the name on the ticket?Thank you for your help. Have a great day.
Our QR code for the trip did not work at the gate.

Mother/daughter trip to Europe in July, and it’s been a long time since I used Eurail (going back to the old punch card days!). I’m using the option to “Plan your Trip” on the Eurail site. I have not booked our Eurail passes, but leaning toward the first-class 5-day pass for the following… Paris to Interlaken : Interlaken to Venice : Venice to Innsbrook : Innsbrook to MunichQuestion 1I feel silly asking, but how do I know there will be seats available for the stops noted above? Back in the day, we just winged it, but now I have my 14 year old daughter with me and I’m making hotel reservations in advance. We’re traveling in July and I know it’s super busy.Question 2 A reservation is required for Paris to Belfort, and it notes that I need to buy a seat reservation onboard. Anyway to buy in advance? Perhaps the option will show once I purchase the Eurail passes?Question 3When I see “short transfer” in red, I imagine that it is referring to the distance. For example, coming in on one trac

Hi, I put my tickets in my account on the app. so all my tickets are in the railplanner. But I cannot put them on the sktop version of my account. The tickets where bought by my husband under his name and his emailadres. But I put the tickets ON MY PLANNER APP. That didn’t seem to be a problem. BUt now I cannot see the tickets in my account on the desktop on my laptop. SO how can I CONNECT APP and DESKTOP?
I am a first time Eurail user. I am using the planer to go from Luxembourg to Heidelberg and it say there is a replacement bus. Is that normal and if so will my Eurail pass be accepted?
I want to book reservation for Jungfraujoch early as it may be sold out fast. But I prefer to book the tickets later when I am certain of the weather conditions. Normally, it is fine to book both separately but I checked with AI which says that to secure the 25% discount offered to EURAIL pass holders one must book both the reservation and tickets together ss a bundle Is that true?
First time using Eurail in 35 years so a bit rusty with destinations. I have purchased Frankfurt - Berlin tickets for myself and family. When I selected it had Berlin (any stop) but the ticket says Berlin Suedkreuz. Do you know if we can get off at Central Station? Or do you need to get off at the exact stop? Thank you (I have messaged Eurail help but as we leave in 2 days I am getting a bit anxious)
Hi travelers! I'm about to go on my first interrail with friends and one of my concerns is what bag I should use. I have 2 options; 1. A hiking backpack with waiststraps, opens at the top 2. A weekend bag without waiststraps, but opens like a suitcas Both are around 40-50 litersI am grateful for all kinds of help!
Hi everyone!I have the 6-day Greek Islands Pass and I have some questions:- Do I need the app installed like with the regular Interrail pass and activate my pass from the app?- It says trips must be purchased in order. Is the order for the first international trip in order to activate the pass, or do I have to purchase ALL the trips in order? I mean… can I get the tikets for the international days (go and return ) and later, do the reservations for national trips? - Once booked, can I modify my trips? How?- I want to visit Ithaka. It's not included. Can I use any discounts on the Athens to Ithaka route, or is it only valid for those listed on the 3 websites indicated on the pass? This trip is operated by another company i think.- My plan is to visit: Crete (3 days), Rhodes (3 days), Karpathos (2 days), and Ithaka (1 day). Any recommendation about this plan or other destinations?Thank you very much!
Hey guys do you think I can make it to Berlin in time??? Thank you Interrail for this awesome app
When I tried to connect a second traveller to the Eurail app, it closed as soon as I selected a trip and clicked “connect this trip.” This happened on my iPhone repeatedly. Any solutions? By the way, the passes were purchased together. Thanks, MLZ
