Hi everyone, in early March, I be travelling with my daughters with intended trip to start at Paris (2 nights), then Interlaken (1 night), then Rome (3 nights), then Florence (2 nights), then Nice (2 nights), then back to Paris (3 nights). Any advice or view if I should get all separate trip tickets or puchase a 5 days Eurail pass. I would like to check how much individual train ticket price costs and adds up before deciding on a Eurail pass. But how do i check at the app for individual trip price? Please advice. Thanks !

Hello everyone!I am trying to book seats for the middle of july as they are compulsory but they say there are no seats available, the carrier company is SNCF and the selling starts 150 days from the departure, it is possible that all the eurail pass holders are already sold? Our trip starts on 13th July. Thank you in advance!

Hi,I live in Vienna, and on all the Interrail passes that I have had, I have got 3 inbound/outbound journeys and not 2. As I use Interrail passes regularly to go to Paris, this is quite convenient, because by buying 2 youth months-long global passes during sales, 2 back and forth journeys cost about 200€ including reservations, which is as much expensive or even cheaper than day trains. I just need to buy the ticket from Vienna to Freilassing or to Salzburg for one trip, which is 30€ with a Bahncard 50. For 4-days passes, this is also quite convenient, as 3 out of 4 days can be used in Austria.I wonder: how is the number of allowed days of trips inside the country of residence determined ? So far, I have only seen 3 days inbound/outbound. I have understood that it depends on the time it can take to go to the border, but I am not sure that any trip in Austria must really take more than 1 day, even if 6 hours domestic train rides exist. Are there any country which get only 2 days ? Switz

Hi, I am Stan trying to go via train from Annecy to Geneva. Are there any direct trains in July? My current searches have some trains but they go via a lot of stations and take a very long time for a short 2 hr journey from Annecy to Geneva

Hi all, it's my first post. I'm travelling the beginning of July, a Saturday.  Flying into Zurich Switzerland and getting the train from the airport to Interlaken. I'll have an interrail card. My question is do I need to book the train beforehand or wait till I arrive. I do realise I can make as many bookings on that day. I'm just thinking if I'm delayed I'll have to make a second booking. Suppose I'm trying to gauge how busy trains are on Saturdays. Also I think the women's Soccer World Cup is on there too. 

l have purchased my global pass and then created my trip , l have attached my trip to my pass and l have made reservations and paid for them where required . For the journeys that have 3 train changes within the journey and l have to reserve seats on 2 of the legs but not required on the other 2 , how does the ticketing work ? l now only have a ticket for 2 legs of that day journey . As l have attached the trip to my pass does that suffice ? 

Hello traveling from Barcelona to Carcassonne. Narbonne to Carcassonne required a reservation and I purchased it. Cant figure out how to reserve first part of trip. There is no “add to trip” icon

Alors que dans l'élaboration de trajet ces trains sont disponible. Quelqu'un à une réponse/solution? Merci=> I planned a route with the available steps in the search/planner section but during the last step to pay the different small supplements it announces that they aren't available (see picture above). This doesn't make any sense right? Can someone help me out?

How can I use my Eurail pass to avail 25% discount on cable car ticket of mount titlis. On Titlis ticketing website, it’s said that Eurail pass holders can avail 25% discount and I find no field to apply such discount.

I planned on traveling from Bayeux France to Paris on Mon 1-Sep. The reservation page show there are no trains that day. Is that possible? 

HalloA friend and I are going on interrail from end of June to July for around 30 days. We are planning to visit Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Ljubljana, Milano or some other city in Italy, Marseille/Lyon, Paris and Amsterdam, but we also want to be flexible and not lock anything in.So how long should we book hostels eks. in advance? It would be nice to book doing the trip, but not end up sleeping in some extremely sketchy place.Does anyone have some experience with this?(I could not find any answers which was not from 2 years ago, where covid was still a large factor)

I am trying to buy a ticket on a specific train that a friend of mine already has a ticket for. I want to travel from London to Paris on May 10, leaving at 16:31. I know the train number is 9040, but I am not sure which station in London is the one I need. (Her ticket says “Eurostar Plus”.) I’m trying to book this on the Eurail website, not Eurostar, which saves a lot of money. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hola!Este verano quiero hacer mi primer interrail. Voy a comprar el pase de 7 días viajando y la duración será de 22 días. Lo empezaría en San Sebastián y i primera parada quiero que sea Berlin. Se que hay un buen tramo pero es lo que quiero hacer. Después me gustaría ir a Krakovia y de ahí a Budapest. ¿Qué me recomendáis después? me gustaria ver Europa central, esto es, quiero leer vuestras recomendaciones de sitios que os han gustado ya sea por la diversidad cultura, paisajes, comida, seguridad, amabilidad….  Quiero evitar Praga y Viena ya que los he visitado anteriormente. Por otro lado, si el viaje lo empiezo en San Sebastian el 1 de julio, llego a Paris el 1 de julio y salgo de Paris el 1 de julio pero llego a Berlin el 2 de julio me cuenta como dos días e viaje? Gracias!!!!

Due to illness I had to cancel my reservation (today) for the Superfastferry Bari - Patras.The only way to do so is via emal: Online bookings can only be cancelled by email to helpdesk@attica-group.com .I mailed them several times, without any reply. Does anyone have any experience on this topic? I might face a problem when I try to book a new trip.

Hi Eurail community,Thanks again for all being so helpful !We are nearly ready to purchase a pass and want to make the right selection.We are thinking a 10 day pass and then individual passes for the remaining days.Our plan looks like this :Fly from australia and start Munich > Winterthurr > Wengen > St Gallen > Salzburg > Frankfurt > Dusseldorf > Zandvort > Colonge > Hausach > Munich fly back We worked out cause we are staying at some places longer that we would need a total of 10 trains trips between all destinations. We understand some of these may need reservations so hope to book these if needed AFTER getting the 10 day pass.Any suggestions or tips would be awesome.Thanks again eurail community for being so helpful ! Marty and Verity ( from brisbane , Australia )

Hola buenos días a todos… Quisiera tener claridad en el uso del Eurail Pass global,Ya tengo organizado mi viaje para el mes de Abril a Europa con las fechas ya determinadas, pero ingreso a la app Raíl Planner para reservar sillas  y me genera un QR.  Pero no encuentro el lugar para pagar las reservas.  Esa reserva de QR de la App Rail planner es válida y se paga la reserva el día del viaje ?Muchas gracias a todos…

Hello There,We are planning a trip to Paris/Rome/Venice/Barcelona this summer and confused about the ride times shown by eurail.com vs Google search. Apparently, Eurail may not be offering high speed train service as part of their Global Pass. Is there an easy way to select overnight trains? Greetings!I am unable to find the euro rail schedule to plan a trip to Europe beginning in London.  Here is our itinerary:July 2 Fly to LondonJuly 2 take train to ParisJuly 7 take train to RomeJuly 10 take train to VeniceJuly 12 take train to BarcelonaJuly 2 take train to MadridFly home from MadridI’ve tried the planner which recommends 7 travel day Global Pass good for 1 month. However, it does not give train schedule to plan the 10 days I have for the tripThis is our first visit to France, Italy and Spain and have no idea what to plan. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful. Thank you and Blessings,
