Using global pass (and buying seat reservations)however it’s not allowing me to take train from Strasbougg to Basel sbb at 10:15am? Also do I need to make seat reservation on this leg?

Can anyone tell me whether Eurostar trains from London to Paris/Lille are included free with a One-Country Eurail Pass for France? Or do I need to pay separately for this before using my Eurail Pass?

Folks I have a dilemma..... So we have interrail passes, not activated yet.... Each time I try to link to my acc it tells me the surname or pass number are invalid, when are actually not.... My daughter pass was bought same time and bought together, hers works fine for reservation.... It has now come to point that she has to try do my reservation via her account on her phone....and it works, but it won't let me use it myself.... Has anyone else had this issue and would you know how we can solve it, as we leave mid July, if info helps mine is adult 3 Mt, hers is youth 17 and 2 Mt one... PS... I can do her reservations via my acc too, just not my own... TIA

Hello I have a rather simple question for the comunity please.   This concerns using my eurail pass on swiss trains. I haven’t activated nor used my global eurail pass yet, and wish to know when I book a particular train time if I am committed to travel on that actual train, or, if I can travel on any train that same day?   I see from the sbb app that if I pay for a journey with a credit card, the ticket is valid on any train on the same route until 0500 the following day. What I need to know if this Is rule also applys when using my global eurail pass? Thank you,   bodetteplant 

Going from agen to venice/austria.  Will need good stopping point.  Maybe soend one day there.  All ideas and recommendations welcome.also, cherbourg to agen.  Is it viable to avoid paris?

My husband and I are seniors and will begin our train trip for 30 days in August stopping for a few days in each location from Barcelona to Narbonne, to Avignon, to Toulouse to Biarritz, to Donostia San Sebastian, to Bilbao, to Asturias, drive to Porto Portugal and fly home to Malaga, Spain.Too many stops?

Hii have booked a train from vienna airport to zell am see at August 13,2024 that departs 10:02 am now i have been notified that there is a timetable change that might affect your schedule and that my ticket remain valid i have no idea what should i do now, when i check other options they seem to have at least 4 connections and there is no option to replace my current tickets with new one any advice

If you are traveling to Scotland and want to travel to Ireland and London too during the trip, would you rent a car or do Eurotrail only? I have this desire to sit oceanside and listen to the seagulls and watch the fishing ports. 

Hi. We are seniors travelling with a 1st class Global Pass. Our preferred train is the 12:32pm departure on 29 June. The EURAIL site says seat reservations are recommended but Rail Europe says not required. Do we risk it and not book a seat? Thank you. 

I added to my pass for the train from London Marylebone Station to Stratford Upon Avon on July 12 leaving at 8:07am. There is a change of trains at Warwick. I tried several sites including Eurail ( which says seat reservations are optional), then went to GWR which says they don't have seats, and it looks like almost the same train but change at Leamington Spa ( which Eurail doesn't have). Went to Chiltern Rail which says they don't make seat reservations. Very confused. Does anyone know anything about this? Suggestions please. 

By mistake I created a trip to Varnanow that I’ve realised and try to do it on the correct trip it won’t allow me as it says I am already travelling that dayi I can’t find where to removegenera I’ve botched up my phone and need some help.we’re travelling and this is all very stressful 

We’re going to be in Switzerland this summer based in Lausanne for 3-4 days. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to travel around? Also has anyone any experience of Glacier 3000 and the best way to get there?Thank you in advance!

How can I still get on the train? It says that the seat reservation is free. Do I have to reserve the seat on the spot? How much does a normal ticket to Istanbul cost? 

hello! i’m travelling around europe this year and i’m unsure of if i should invest in a eurail global pass or if it’s better to purchase the local train passes to the places i’m visiting:France (Visiting Paris, Versailles, Disneyland, Lourdes over 5 days) Switzerland (Visiting Zurich and Interlaken over 3 days) Austria (Visiting Vienna for 2 days) Italy (Visiting Rome,Florence, Milan over 8 days) Spain (Visiting Barcelona over 4 days)which places metro/local transport system are covered by the eurail pass? and if opting for the eurail pass is a better option, which kind of pass should i get?  your help is much appreciated!

Hi, I plan to travel by the Bernina Express from Tirano (Italy) to St Moritz (Switzerland). I won’t use the Inerrail Pass in Italy. All travel from Tirano onwards will be within Switzerland and I will not return to Italy. Does the one-country Interrail Pass (Switzerland) cover the Bernina Express journey from Tirano to St Moritz? Or do I need to buy the Global Interrail pass? Thanks

I didn’t see the answer to this anywhere. I would like to purchase my passes now digitally, have them sent to my email, and then load them to my app at a later date (2-3 weeks later). Is this allowed or am I required to add them to my app as soon as they arrive in my email?

Hi. It still doesn’t appear to be possible to book seat reservations on the Narvik to Stockholm service. Have spoken to info office at Oslo and Bergen and they still have no clue when bookings will be possible. Does anyone have any further info they can provide. Bit worried there will be a stampede for bookings when available. We are hoping to travel from Narvik to Umea on Sunday 6th July. Any update would be much appreciated . Thanks

The train can be booked on the VY website but without the interrail option :( I'm trying to call them but despite long waits I can't get through to anyone... Has anyone managed? hello all  We are flying into FCO from Toronto in September and supposed to land at 1215hrs. We plan to travel onward to Florence the same day. We have Eurail Global Pass, 1st class.I see there is 1 train from FCO to Florence Santa Marai Novella leaving at 1353hrs. Not sure that we will be able to make that train. flight delay, customs, baggage. So we can take the Leonardo Express to Rome Termini. And then from Rome Termini to Florence. if I book FCO to Florence, there is only 15-minute change time. That makes me nervous, so I would like to book separately trains from FCO to Rome and then Rome to Florence. Never booked 2 separate trains on 1 day, so I am looking for assistance. i know that it should still be considered 1 travel day.
