Hello. Im looking to travel from Switzerland to Spain. Is there any route you recommend? Is possible to do that route or to difficult being my first time traveling by train in Europe. Im pretty new on this. Thanks!

Gracias

I am travelling to Europe for the first time, flying into Rome and home from London. I am considering a Eurail, first class, 10 day travel pass, valid for 2 months. The hope is to see Florence, Cinque Terre, Milan (also Lake Como) , Venice, Fiume Veneto (near Pordenone), Vienna, Prague, Munich, Zurich, Lyon, Paris and London.I started using the Eurail travel planner and found that it can’t find many of the places I want to go. I know that some of the lesser towns (e.g. Lake Como) will probably mean a separate bus trip or hire car. However I need to know where the main train lines run so I can make sure I can get to places I need to get to, or how close I can get them, especially Fiume Veneto where I have family. I thought Eurail was linked to all train lines in Europe, but I am worried that it may not be ideal for my needs. Also, I am unsure if I am better off booking every accommodation and every train trip before I leave home, or is it easy enough to book train travel and accommodatio

Hi - I would like to know the refund for the on-going promo. I’m planning to purchase the promo ticket (with insurance - 100% refundable) since I don’t have my Visa yet.  But there’s a note that you can refund as long as its 6 months before the last activation date (Jun 1, 2024). But the 6 months is in Dec 2023. Does it mean it’s not 100% refundable?  Thanks in advance!

Hi together! We, 4 persons (family, two adults, two children age 15), want to book a reservation for SJ nighttrain. Is it somewhere visible at INTERRAIL booking service (not SJ) that our places are together in one compartment? As far as I know, there are 2 and 3-bed 2nd class sleepers (not couchettes). So, I assume, that we will get 2x 2-bed sleeper compartments when booking. Or could it be, that there is booked 1x 3-bed and another person into another sleeping compartment by the INTERRAIL booking system?Other possibility, the couchettes. There are 4 and 6-bed couchettes. At INTERRAIL there is again the possibility to book the option for couchette. But it is not clear, if it is a private 4-bed compartment (so no one other could be with us) or an 6-.bed compartment, where maybe two other persons could be in the compartment. How can I achieve such a 4-bed compartment via INTERRAIL or is it not possible?Thank you for your help!Bye, StephanI

May I change the date of seat reservation ? I have got the seat reservation but want to change the date.

Dear All -- This summer, our family of 4 travelled from Frankfurt am Main (Hbf) (Germany) to Bordeaux St Jean (France) via Paris Montparnasse in June/July 2023 without problems. So, I am about to buy a Eurail Global Pass for us again for the 2024 summer … but looking at our travel dates (i.e., Sunday, June 09, 2024) under seat reservations, the website reports that the pass is not valid for the leg between Paris → Bordeaux (i.e., “Pass not valid. Choose a different journey within the Pass network or buy a separate ticket for this journey.). Any advice? Thanks so much in advance! Christian & Co.

I have just bought interrail tickets for May 2024 two adults two kids. I want to activate passes asap in order to reserve Eurostar seats, however my children don't have passports yet (obviously they will when we travel). Is there a way to activate/reserve seats before they have passports? Worried they will all be gone by the time we receive passports!

Hello, there’s a thing that I haven’t quite understood. When can I take my trip back home?Does it work automatically?Me and my friends are going to use up 4 whole days of our pass. We eant to take the outbound journey on the fifth day. Can it be done? Or do we have to take a night train for it to count?Thank you

Trying to book a train or bus from Montmelian to albertville on 7 Dec, but nothing is available? The same form Albertville to Bourg St Maurice station on 8 Dec.Is there something happening on these lines? Surely there must be an alternative?

Hello,Do I need to use a travel day in order to get the 30% discount on ferries (Norway), or can I save a travel day when I'm not using trains. Thanks

LG

I am trying to buy a Global pass during the sale but the check out page won’t load and I have been trying to do it for hours .Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks!

Hello,  I cannot add my mobile pass to the app.. As my name is with an “ï”, I strongly think the app doesn’t recognize this letter. I need to take a train in 2 days. What should I do?

I have added more than one journey to my Trip for the day and I want to wait until I arrive at the train station to decide which train journey to take and there is no internet (WIFI) access available at the station. Can I add a journey to my Pass without internet access?

Confusion here: I read FREE ferry deck passage off the EURail benefits portal and booked a reservationhttps://benefitsportal.eurail.com/benefits/attica-group-greece-italy-superfast-ferries-in-cooperation-with-anek-lines/Global Pass holders are entitled to:International Lines:Free air seats or dormitories (where available) for 1st class Pass holders and free deck passage  for 2nd class Pass holdersDomestic Lines:30% discount on economy class:*The 30% discount is applicable only if holders have already completed a crossing in the Adriatic Sea routes with SUPERFAST FERRIES & ANEK LINEI booked a superfast ferry without believing it would use 1 of my 5 travel days. Nationality and type of pass were corrected(I’m not GB nor Interrail) after the reservation had been created by Superfast. It says I used a discount so if this was an interrail pass I allegedly wouldn’t use a travel day. However, it’s a Global EURail pass. No response from EURail and Superfast is unable to help. Ideas?

Dear Community Members,How do I change the currency on my account please?  It appears to default to Euros and this incurs a charge.  I would like to pay in UK pounds. All advice will be gratefully received. Many thanks & kind regards,  John

Hi there!I live in the South of France and wish to use the remaining travel days of my Interrail Pass to go either to Belgium or the UK but I’ve already use both my inbound and outbound trips.I wonder if there is an easy way to find the most suitable rail stations at the French border so that I can split the trip to pay the French part and use the Pass for the foreign part. Many thanks in advance for your tips!

The app uses Spanish as default language. Even if somebody sends me a trip (link) everything is translated in Spanish? How do i change that??I find English difficult enough. I prefer Dutch. Please give an answer 🙏

Hi,my name is Paola and I come from Italy. Among my passions are travel: when I can, I particularly like traveling by train, calmly admiring the various landscapes that follow one another while looking out of the windows.I'm organizing a train trip to Belgium with my family, but unfortunately I've become afraid of certain types of routes, which I've never had!Does anyone know if there are long tunnels along the Munich-Stuttgart/Nuremberg-Frankfurt-Cologne-Brussels route? I already know the ones up to Munich …Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello everyone,I'm slowly planning my trip in Europe. Since there's nice promotion I have doubts if is worth to pay extra for 1st class.I'm going to travel in January and February. 3-5 days of pass I'll probably use for Scandinavian country, rest probably for South of the Europe and 1 day I'm planning to for night train for my return. To be honest I never ride a train for long distance during the winter. Last year during summer I used 7 days to trip in West Europe, but it was 2nd class.More specific questions:1. You guys think is worth to pay extra for 1st class?2. Seat reservations fee is same like in 2nd class? 3. What happens if I'll have 2nd class ticket and I book seat for 1st class? 4. How occupied are the trains in Scandinavians countries especially during the winter.5. Night train with couchettes/sleeper have different for 1st/2nd class and can I book it?

Does anyone know when the train timetable from Tirano to Milan , post June 11 , will be released ??Looking to travel on June 11 at about 1pm ??Saw a reference to train rail works ???

Hello, I already purchased 3 global passes for me and my family. If I activate them so I can start planning the trip and making reservations, I’m I going to start the days that I purchased, or do they start until the first train we use?
