We are traveling to Scandinavia on march 22 and we have to transfer in Hamburg Hbf to S3 (s-bahn). Does anyone know a route for this? Is it an other location where we have to go to get on the S3?

Hi! I am planning to do an Interrail trip for 4 days in May.I saw that seat reservations are optional on some journeys.In these cases, is there any risk that the train will be full and I won't be able to board if I don't have a reserved seat?Thank you for your help!

Hi everyone !!I’m leaving for a 1 week interrail in Norway an Sweden (leaving from France) between the 11 and 17 of February (next week).First, if anyone is doing kind of the same trip in the same dates, I’m flexible so we can do some of the travels together !Second, I see that on the interrail app, even if I ask to go north going trough Norway, it always advises me to go through Sweden. Are the transports in Norway really bad / slow or it’s just the app which is just lacking some information ? thank you for your answers and maybe see you ! 🚞 

i'm living in germany and want to travel to amsterdam and brussels with the benelux one country pass. am i allowed to use the international ice trains cologne-amsterdam to get there and brussels-frankfurt for my route home? i read somewhere that ice trains are only allowed on domestic routes with the benelux pass but idk what that means.

Hi! I am planning to do an Interrail trip for 4 days from Frankfurt to Marseille in May.I was thinking to go from Frankurt to Geneve and stay there less than one day, and then go to Marseille.I would stay in Marseille 2 full days  and then left on the third day back to Frankfurt.Do you have any suggestions?Is the weather nice in May to go to the beach in Marseille?Do you think I should include more stops?Thank you for your help!

We’ve all seen the news about the war in Ukraine and many of us have read articles about the amazing railway network all over the country. It’s inspired me to go there, see the beautiful sights and meet the people of Ukraine once the war is over. I’m sure lots of other people feel the same - it’s a beautiful country and one I didn’t know much about beforehand.Would it be an expression of peace, friendship, solidarity and warm hopes for the future to add the Ukrainian railway network to the global Interrail/Eurail pass at this moment in time? I certainly think it would be hopeful, a good advert for Ukraine and would be good for Interrailers too. Is there a movement to do this, and who should we contact if not?

Hi, I'm creating my interrail itinerary for late April/early May, over 2 and a half weeks, starting from France. I haven't had any trouble planning it to Zagreb. I want to go from Zagreb to Istanbul, stopping in Belgrade and Sofia. I've seen that there's a train, but I don't know if it's usable or not. Can you tell me if this route is feasible, and if so, how?If not, what route can I take from Zagreb to Istanbul? Thank you :) 

Hello! I was thinking about going to Istanbul but the train connection in the east parte of Europe is a bit difficult to understand... I'll be in Budapest and I think that the best way Is to go to Bucarest and from there I saw there is a bus... Do you know if the bus Is included? I don't know how to understand if the bus Is part or not of the ticket. And, to come back, I need to go to Vienna after, do you have suggestions about the way to follow?

Hi!We are planning to interrailing through Europe this summer for a month and could use some help with our route. It is our first time. We will start from Stockholm and then make our way to Paris, Barcelona, the French Riviera (Nice, with a day trip to Monaco, and then possibly to either Marseille, Saint Tropez, Cannes), then Monterosso, Milan, a day trip to Venice, maybe a day trip to Rome and Pisa, then to (Kandersteg or Lauterbrunnen or Interlaken), maybe Zurich, maybe Bled, and finally Berlin and Copenhagen. We are open for changes, removing some places, replacing others, and rearranging the order. We haven't fully decided the destinations yet, so we welcome all the recommendations we can get. Can you help us find the most convenient route and if we should remove any destination?

Hi allWe are traveling by train from Switzerland to Italy between 26 Feb to 8 Mar 24 and following the route Zurich to Milan to Venice to Florence to Rome. We have an option to stay 3 nights in Milan and 2 nights in Florence or vice versa. I am after your suggestion if Milan where we should spend 3 nights or should we spend 3 nights in Florence which will leave 2 nights for Milan. Our interests of seeing Italy are from both an ancient historical side as well as a 21st century modern Italian life, say roughly 50% 50%

I'm looking for trains between Basel and Paris in early June.  This shows many changes for this time, but 2 weeks before in mid May is direct. Is this because the timetable hasn't been published yet? 

new to eurorail here Airport train station is not on eurail planner. I really dont want to get separate ticket to Brussels city station and then go from there. I see on country’s train scheduler that there is a train with no stops that go every hour but it airport train station I s not recognized on eurail siteany help here?  Thanks

Hello, I am based in the UK. On the back leg of the trip, I’m travelling from Bled to Paris/Brussels in order to connect to the Eurostar back to London, with 4 travel days, and around a week of travel. For those who have done similar in the past, what cities were worth visiting? Is it better to go through Italy and Switzerland, or through Austria and Germany? Is there anywhere specific worth visiting? Many thanks.

Hi, I'm planning a trip from France to Denmark via Sweden. I found all my trains to Copenhagen, but it became complicated after. I can't find any trains on the Interrail website to reach Stockholm or Oslo. Furthermore, I specify that I know there is a long distance, but that's not an issue for me, regardless of the number of connections. The website just shows me “no result”, The farthest I could reach is Göteborg, but even from here, it is impossible to reach Oslo. So there is my question: is the Swedish train system complicated, or is there another issue ? And by the way, my trip would be in June 2024; I searched for my train for the 15/06.
