We are trying to find trains between the main cities of these countries but we are finding problems. Our plan was to do: Zagreb- Split - Sarajevo- Beograd- Sofia- Budapest - Bratislava -Viena¿What route should we take? We really would like some advice because if it is going to be a difficult route we might as well change the plan. Thank you very much for your help.
I have mapped out my trip using the Eurorail tool and it appears I only need 5 days of travel. But the website is promoting me use 6-7 days travel. Any reason why this might happen? I think you cannot add days on so I do not want to make a mistake , but I also do not want to pay for extra travel days if I do not need them. My itinerary Paris → Bolzano (taxi to dolomiti) Bolzano → Venice Venice → Bari Bari→ Salerno Salerno→ Rome Also wondering if I just do a 1 country pass. And get a single train ticket from Paris to Bolzano?Right now I think it suggests a Flexi pass, with France to Italy travel. Just trying to find the most logical and savvy way to travel. Secondly, do you recommend the NIGHT TRAIN for my 9+ hour trips? Thank you so much! Madison
Hi, please help me how to get from Sarajevo to Croatia so that we can continue using train to Zagreb. Is there train from Sarajevo to Banja Luka or northern border? Interrail map shows there is, but train webside doesnt? Thanks!
I am currently booking tickets for Anne Frank House and noticed a discount for EYC. Is a European Youth Card worth it and how much does it cost?Is it related to Discover EU?
I am trying to catch the ICE 311 at 12:25hrs out of Brussels-Midi and transferring at Köln Hbf to see the cathedral before getting another ICE to my final destination - Stuttgart Hbf. Can anyone advise if this train is often cancelled/delayed and is it worth getting the earlier ICE 2 hours before? I am hoping to spend a bit of time in the morning in Brussels before leaving, but as I am catching a NightJet at Stuttgart I cannot be late. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello -- does anyone know if it is possible to travel from Locarno to Brig via Domodossola using a one-country pass for Switzerland? I think you can travel as far as Domodossola coming out of Switzerland on either line but I’m not clear on whether you can then change trains and go back into Switzerland! Many thanks M
I d like to start my trip from the Netherlnds all the way up Sandefjord in Norway, which is near to Oslo. But Sandefjord is not a destination that i can choose in the app or website . How can i start now? Anybody any solutions?
Im planning on taking a train on August 10, 2023 from Vienna (Wien Westbahnhof station) to Hallstatt. Usually it’s 3.5 hour, two change train from Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim station where you then change trains and go directly to Hallstatt. It looks like there is train work however in that second leg (between Attnang-Puchheim to Hallstatt) and the eurail app shows a route that goes around this resulting in a 7 hour ride. I checked out OBB website and actually it looks like this is happening:(1) Vienna to Attnang-Puccheim, as normal (2) Alternate bus is provided from Attnang-Puccheim to Bad Ischl(3) Take train at Bad Ischl to Hallstatt I cannot find this alternate bus route (2) in the eurail planner. Is this bus route covered by the pass? Again, this bus route is being provided it looks like due to train work. Many, many thanks in advance.
Hi, we are a family of 4 adults and one child 6 years old. We just bought passes for 10 days within 2 months. I was trying to find some journeys using the planner, but unfortunately i wasn't very successful. So i have following questions1. On the 5 July late on the day or on the 6 july very early i wanted to find a connection from Vejle/Kolding in dk to Munich in de with a night express and with sleeping department, so that we would be in munich in the morning on the 6 july. i couldn't find any.2. Generally when traveling in July during a weekdays is it always worth to make reservations also for trains which don't require one?3. Monday, the 10 July from Ljubljana in sv to Verona in it in the morning i could find any train connections, only with some flexbus. How to find one?4. On the 12 July from Verona to Chur in ch in the morning i only found a connection through Zurych but we wanted to take to tirano to take Bernina express or regular train on the route from there to chur. How to do
Hi all. I booked a reservation with OBB to take a train from Zagreb Glavni Kol. to Budapest Kelenfoeld, changing at Pragersko. The first train was due to depart from Zagreb at 07.05 on 18/07/23 but has now been cancelled. OBB have sent an email to say there will be a rail replacement bus as far as Savski Marof. However, to get from Savski Marof to Pragersko, it apparently involves taking three regional trains and a 50 min walk across the Croatia-Slovenia border (Harmica to Dobrov).Does anyone know of a better way to get to Pragersko from Zagreb? The suggested route seems extremely time consuming and complex, and I cannot understand why the rail replacement bus is only going as far as Savski Marof. Taking this route would make it impossible for me to get to Pragersko in time for my connection.According to Rome2Rio one can take a bus from Zagreb to Maribor and then a short train from there to Pragersko. I am thinking that this seems to be a better option, but I would appreciate any input
I’ve read a lot about how some of Eastern Europe doesn’t show on the rail planner and that you have to look on the local rail website to plan.I have a global pass and currently planning a rough route. I’ve got to Bosnia and Herzegovina and I’m struggling to find a train that can actually take me into the county from Slovenia or Croatia. Can anyone advise on this?
Hello all,I’m planning an inter-railing trip next year and was thinking of going from Split to Mostar. However, I have just found out that there are no international trains that do this route and don’t believe buses are included in the pass. Is it worth just paying for a bus (if it isn’t too expensive and if there definitely aren’t any trains to Mostar) or shall I rearrange the destination?Thank you!

Hello! I am aware that with a 2nd class interrail pass you can travel from the Rome airport to Rome Tirbutina station, but you can’t travel to Rome Termini. However, my question was if you can travel between Rome Tirbutina and Rome Termini with a 2nd class interrail pass? So can I travel from the airport to Tirbutina and then from Tirbutina to Termini all with my interrail pass? thanks for your help!!!
Hi. We want to travel by train from Salzburg to Vienna in August. Instead of a straight route between the two I would like to travel in the Scenic Semmering Route. I have 2 questions.1. Should we travel from Salzburg to Graz and then up to Vienna, or do we skip Graz and travel from Salzburg to Bruck/Mur then Wiener Neustadt the Vienna?2. We have a Global Eurail pass. On the app, if I select either of these routes will it take us on this scenic route or is there another specific route or train we should book. This would be a one day trip - leaving Salzburg in the morning and ending in Vienna late afternoon or early evening.
Hi! I am planning to go visit the greek islands with a 6 day pass (+ maybe a 4 day pass). Now I have the following question:I know that with the 6 day pass, I have two international days and I know that night connections only count as 1 international day (departure). When I looked up the connection, I realised that the ferry between Ancona and Patras makes a stop in Igoumenitsa. Now: I couldnt find out, if the ferry just stops there or if I have to change the ferry. And more importantly if it still counts as "one trip" (-> Ancona to Patras) or if its a different / seperate trip, because that would mean that I had to use a second international day.Does anyone know that? Thanks for reading thus far :) GreetingsDaniel & Maria
Hi. Could someone please send me a Eurail Map of Italy train stations? Thank you very much.
Is is possible to get from Brussels to Utrecht without using the Thalys? We’re travelling next Wednesday (12th July) and would prefer to avoid the expensive reservation fee. Any ideas on how to do this journey? Thanks
