I am travelling to Paris on the 21st July for 4 nights and I was just wondering if it is deemed safe to go? Is anyone there now, if so what is it like?

We are making plans to travel through the UK and Scotland for about 12-14 days. Are there any particular scenic routes that are recommended? We'll start in London and part from travelling on beautiful routes we wish to visit Liverpool, Edinburgh and perhaps Glasgow.Any help will be appreciated!

If we have a pass valid for Switzerland and our plane lands in Milan, is the train included to Lausanne?2. What day trips would you recommend from Lausanne? I have seat reservations on a train for July 3. I booked through Eurail and the reservations show up there. I have my pass also activated in the app as I have already traveled on it. I understand reservations are separate from the pass and don’t show in the app.  My issue is, we have a direct train from Prague to Vienna on July 3 at 0845 however that route does not show in the timetable at all. I attempted to add it as a journey in my app but it is no longer available and doesn’t show on the website as being an available route. I did search other sites and still see it but not on Eurail. It’s a Railjet line, not sure if they just aren’t in the timetable anymore. Should I be worried? 

Adicionei uma trip ao meu pass, agora queria mudar algumas viagens, mas não consigo desconectar a viagem do meu pass. Como faço para elimnar esta viagem e mudar para outra trip. Posso desconectar o pass?

Hi, When I check my journey end of July from Munich to Ancona with the NightJet all looks fine. With https://www.zugfinder.net/en/train-NJ_295 I see that there are no big delays usually.  But when I check the schedule with the Rail Planner app or at https://www.eurail.com/en/plan-your-trip/eurail-timetable?ol=MUNCHEN+%28GERMANY%29&ov=008099999&dl=ANCONA+%28ITALY%29&dv=008307113&vl=&vv=&t=1690135200000&ar=false&rt=&tt=&mc=&mct=0 (which is the same I assume) then I see that the NJ40295 changes a little bit after midnight in the EN1295. But it also says ‘change trains’ in 36 minutes. I wonder, is it the same train standing still in the station for 36 minutes (A) or do we all have to get out to the platform and then a different train shows up where we all have to find our compartments? (B)When I check bahn.de or nightjet.com or fahrplan.oebb.at all looks fine and the NightJet 40295 does not change for a bit. 

Do you also have problems with planning trips in Serbia? I know of the problems entering Serbia from the north but I can´t make any trip inside Serbia or to Bosnia-Herzegovina make sense. 

Am trying to get some suggestion for “optimal route”, since travel with 2 kids from Italy to Barcelona Spain with the Global Pass, 

I along with my mother are planning to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp from vienna. Is this route lonely or do people like to visit this place ? We shall be taking overnight train from Vienna to krakow and then from krakow to osweicim . Is this right planning ?Do I need to be aware of something else as well ?Kindly help .Regards !!

I have already been looking for connections here snd people said that you would have to takes buses? I already found a hus from Sofia(Bulgaria) to skopje(north macedonia) but I still have my hopes up for a train from Skopje to Thessaloniki.the latest replies to a topic like this I found are about a year ago so did anything change? ALSOwhy can’t i find trains for later this year-when I put in July smth it says there r no trains when I can find the smae train for this week? Hey guys, just trying to plan my trip at the moment and trying to look at getting from Gibraltar or Seville to Faro. When I enter it in the app it’s giving me a crazy route back up Spain, into Lisbon and down to Faro taking over 24hrs. I’ve seen that in like other intineries that people have done it. Would any of you have some guidance on this please ?

I know the train only started running a few days ago but need help from anyone who has done the train from Gällivare to Östersund this year (2023)Three of us a booked to travel on 20 July Gällivare to Östersund. I see this year the southbound train stops at Arvidsjaur for 25 minutes. For 2022, the menu I downloaded off their website had a menu for Hotell Laponia but that is a 15 minutes walk from the station so won't be possible to walk from the station to buy / collect. The late afternoon stop this year I see is 45 minutes at a Vilhelmina Norra (17:01-17:46) yet the only place I can see there is Bergmans Fisk & Vilt which closes at 17:00! In 2022 the southbound train stopped at Vilhelmina in the town which is 8 minutes walk from the Hotell Wilhelmina. But no chance to make use of this year?Do the places Inlandsbanan advertise take food orders and deliver to the train?It's a long 14 hour journey and I'm not sure the offer on the train will be enough for everyone. Hello. My dh and I will have to take the ~1 p.m. Eurostar for London from Bruxelles-Midi, and when I went to book seats, the 9 a.m. Thalys from Amsterdam was no longer available to book, so we opted to leave on the earlier Thalys train.  The thinking is we will have a leisurely brunch while we wait for the Eurostar check in.  Looking over the few videos posted of Bruxelles-Midi, it seems to be full of fast food places.  Are there any nice restaurant near the Midi were we can sit down and have a leisurely breakfast/brunch?  I have checked out the Yelp reviews of the Brasserie Europa and Brasserie de la Gare mentioned on another site and they serve primarily lunch and dinner and the ratings were abysmal.  We were hoping for an American/British breakfast (my dh likes a hot substantial breakfast)...I have checked out the menu for Victor Bar and Restaurant for the Pullman Hotel and it looked like bar food.  Does the Pullman Hotel have a proper breakfast also serve walk-in guests?  If anyone

Did you know there are more options for border crossings than maps and timetables will tell you? If the timetables doesn't show them, it might be because it deems the distance to the stations on either side of the border too far.
