Hello,I live in Salzburg, Austria and want to travel inside of Italy. I am considering buying one country Italy Pass . But is that valid from Salzburg to Venice of Rome for example?

I'll be in interlaken with my wife some one advice me to take a trip in the glacier or bernina express 1 I just don't know which station should I start with 2 Is the travel day will expired if I used this trip or can I book another train to get back to Interlaken with the eurial in the same day 3 Can I from interlaken to como with on of them as my next destination after interlaken is como so I can use to arrive in come instead of the normal trains. Thanks 

We are traveling on Eurail pass and will arrive in Zurich airport about 830am on 30 April 2023. There was a direct train RJX 165 from Zurich HB to Wien HB at 10:40am - 6:32pm previously. However today I checked and the route on SBB website is no longer available. It requires a change from Zurich HB →  Sarganz →  Kufstein and then take SV200 to Salzburg HB and finally RJX 869 to Vienna HB.Anyone knows how to take this SV200 (how to get to this bus stop) or is there any easier way with less transfer as we are bringing luggage along?Rail Planner showed a route that goes Zurich HB (TRN2363) → Sarganz (RJX 165) → Wien HB and does not include SV200 but I am not sure if it is because some of the disruption is not taken into account in Rail Planner app.

hi guys so im trying to organise a travel im from france and i want to go to the estern europ go down to greece and get up by italy to go back in france so i planeffied almost all my travel buti am searching how to get acces in greece from balkanies countrie, i tried to reaserche on timelabs from roumania, bulgaria and macdonia but it seem that therse no train how go to greece i dont understund if any body can help i will be thankful

Hi all, new to this and need some help and advice, im planning the following trip and having issues with trains/buses as cant seem to find a valid/convenient route. I appreciate the rail pass may not be valid with these countries, in which case alternative transport and/or different routes would be welcomed.Help with:all the legs marked red I am struggling to find the bus or if there is a train? Also I want to get from Kotor to Lake Ohrid what is the best route? (i have already seen Serbia so ideally can avoid if easier)? The best/cheapest nearest airport to fly back from Lake Ohrid to LondonPlan: Day 5: Zagreb to Hrvatska Kostajnica ,and then walk/taxi, Banja Luka to Sarajevo - is this train running? can I book?Day 8: I dont think there is a train and this route is by bus? is it better to break this journey up so Kotor - Dubrovnik and then Dubrovnik to Kotor or do it on one bus?Day 11: what is the best option to get from Kotor to Lake ohridDay 14: what is the best/nearest busiest airp

Hi Traveling Community,I am having a hard time finding the best way to get from Como to Tirano so that my family can take the Bernina Express this June. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it best to book a train reservation to Bellinzona and take a bus from there to Thusis and on to Tirano? Does anyone know how much the bus fare is?I welcome any other suggestions.Thanks much!Sommer

I’m looking to book the sleeper in mid-June (16th I think), but the availability is only showing as far as the middle of May at the moment.  Correction, I just re-checked and it is showing dates forwards from June 21st with a gap for a couple of weeks back to the middle of May.Does anyone know if there are track works impacting this train?  I can still make the connection by changing train in Boden and catching the day train to Narvik, but that involves a later arrival in Narvik which isn’t optimal as I’m heading onwards from there in a campervan.  Given that the day train is running I guess it’s not trackwork, but the train just shows as not available on sj.se[edit] bahn.de shows several gaps in running order but indicates is should run on 16th JuneDays of operation: runs daily, not 18., 21. May, 23. until 29. Jun 2023, 5., 6. Jul, 8. until 13. Jul 2023, 15., 22., 29. Jul, 5. until 10. Aug 2023

Hi,I hope to get advise from the community on our 14 days Europe trip planned. We are family of 4 members and we start our bakjet Europe  journey  from1.21/7-London  to paris by  eurostar ( we not intend to  stay because not confident of the safety of city)2. 21/7 Paris to basel ( Switzerland) 3. Basel to Andermatt l(ocal train )4. Andermatt to St. moritz ( glacier express).5. St. Moritz to tirano. (Bernina  express)6. Tirano to Milan ( I couldn't find proper train, I hope someone can advice). 7.milan to Florence (pisa)- train 8. Florence  to rome.-train9. Rome to Venice -train10. Venice to Brussels (Belgium) -train 11. Brussels  to amsterdam (train)12. 14/8/23-Amsterdam back to Newcastle uk( ferry booked )-I need information station name in each city.- anyone can suggest me nice place to visit! It looks too packed and rush, can some one propose and advice  how to re- schedule  my journey,  tq 

I see the question I was about to ask was answered a year ago here.We need to get between the 2 cities on Saturday 29th April and it seems like a TGV with a cafe might be a better bet than a regular (if comfortable and functional) Swiss train between the 2.  Even if it’s only to get a cup of coffee in Switzerland at French prices.I thought that not-sitting in a TGV was a non-runner as a general principle - do they really let everyone on (a TGV) in Switzerland regardless of space?Alternatively, does anyone know of other trains between the two cities that are different than the regular SBB trains?  Yes, I’m a train nerd.

Hi all,I have a flight arriving at Paris Orly airport next week, and looking at a TGV to Lyon.The first is TGV 5316, departing from Massy Palaiseau Grande Ceinture, and the second is TGV 5320, departing Massy TGV.As far as I can tell, these are part of the same station complex, and I can get the Orlyval to Antony then RER to reach them. (Or a cab!) Is that right? The French do love their long, complicated station names.

Hi, I’m currently in Riga and am looking to get to Poland. I don’t really plan to stop in Lithuania. I’ve tried to plan my journey on the app but no stations appear. As far as I’m aware, some stations for the Baltics aren’t available so I would need to add manually. However, when I have googled routes the only options that come up are via buses. I’d obviously like to make the most of my pass if possible so would rather a train. Does anyone know if it is even possible to get to Poland via train from Riga and if so how? Also, would it be included on my pass (I have a continuous global pass)?  Thanks in advance ☺️

What is the regional train route that I should take to do the same route as Glacier Express and Bernina Express?I read in the community that you don't have to use the eurail app to do the route because it is novice to do that.

Hello!I am trying to organise Bucharest-> Istanbul (next week).I checked on the CFR (Romanian train's website) and I see only a very complicated solution (4 changes and it is not possible to book online).Somebody did this route recently and suggest how to do it?Is it possible to get the availability only at the train office in Romania? Is there any night train to avoid so many stop?   Thank you!

HelloI’m super frustrated with the planning process for my trip to Scotland :-/Among other frustrating things about interrail, there is no map available, neither on the website nor on the app (I know there is a map of your trips but only after booking your trip - so not helpful at all). The map on the interrail-website is a road map only, which is a bad joke :-/I tried open railway map, which is helpful if you have a computer or notebook, but it is hard to see where stations are (or not).I also tried the printed/pdf map but again this is not detailed enoughAny help for a good map to use would be highly appreciated.

I have 2 back-to-back stag do’s in the middle of my month’s interrailing… Stag Do 1 is in Krakow, ending on a Sunday.Stag Do 2 is in Wengen (near Zurich) from Sunday > Thursday. I want to get to Stag Do 2 as soon as possible, as I’ve already paid in full for accommodation, and don’t want to miss out on the action... So I’m either looking at a €250 plane ticket, which will get me there in 2 hours,OR 23 hours of travel on my (already purchased) interrail pass 😫 I was originally set on interrailing and using night trains, but unfortunately, due to frequent changes, it seems like I might struggle to get any uninterrupted sleep for more than 3 hours, which makes the €30+ cost feel like less value for money… Basically, if anyone happens to have taken such a journey before, I’d love any advice you might be able to impart! (I realise this question is about as long as the journey... but you never know who’s out there 🤷😂)

I have an abundant week available in September, I travel alone. I recently met the Interrail ticket, but I'm undecided if it's worth it.Perhaps it is better to choose a city as a starting point and visit the nearby towns/cities in the day?Obviously without spending a fortuneWhat do you think about it? Can anyone please recommend the best train we can take along the West Coast, maybe travelling through the Lakes District. We are travelling from London to Edinburgh along the East Coast so would like to see alternative scenery on the way back - on a fast train/s. It looks like there is a train that goes through Preston or are we better going via Glasgow? (via Glasgow though)Any advice is appreciated.CheersJenny

Me and my Mum are flying to Oslo on Wednesday 10th May and trying to sort the best train journeys out for the 5 days. Flying back out of Oslo to UK on Monday 15th May in the evening…We are on the Interrail site (going around and around) trying to work out the best journeys starting from the Thursday 11th May from Oslo and then back to Oslo maybe morning of the 15th May…We need to book hotels etc so have to sort the train journeys out first and are not sure which way round so we can see everything.So Maybe Oslo to TrondheimTrondheim to Andalenes Andalenes to Flam maybethen back to OsloNot sure this is possible any suggestions please so she can see the main tourist sites in the time we have and I can look at where we can stop the night.ANY HELP PLEASE!Sam 

Manually added journeys are sometimes not shown on the rail planner app, Google maps or ViaMichelin doesn't draw rail itineraries: Does anybody know about an app where I can draw my finished journey in order to screen-copy it e.g. in  foto book? I couldn't find unfortunately.

Hi guysThe night train i’m looking at shows as N/A, does this mean sold out or as in the train is not available to book yet? Also, in general if interrail says it’s not available to book a ticket until 2 months in advance, is this correct? As some tickets i’ve looked at on OBB have also showed up as services not available or just with no option to buy a ticket for it?Thanks :)

My family and I just had a horrible night on a nightjet from Amsterdam to Zurich. At 4am we were awoken to the fire alarm and smoke in the sleeper coming from right under our roomEvacuated to normal seats in our bedclothes. Not the best nights sleep I have ever had! Anyone else ever experienced something similar? It was pretty terrifying. 

Does one get reductions on buses between Seville and Faro with an interrail pass?

I want to travel from Meran to Mels. I could not find in the web pages of interrail whether the Vinschgau Bahn (Ferrovia della Val Venosta) is included or excluded in the Global Pass.Thanks for helping... 

Hi guysA few questions,Copenhagen to Berlin shows up on the website as needing a seat reservation for the first leg---i went to book one on the website and it said not available just before paying, so i went onto DBS and CD which both said that a reservation was not needed for the train-----that the train company on the first leg of the journey did not sell them for this trip? So am i right in assuming that i wont need a reservation for the train?I am currently struggling to find the cheapest way to get from Milan to Barcelona (i know, a long trip!) (as there is a train that is not included by the pass for the first leg but the remainder of the trip is covered by the pass/reservations=altogether 77 euros), and then Barcelona to Lisbon (with Barcelona to Lisbon proving extremely difficult)----so any help would be appreciated :) Many thanks!!
