Hello everyone,I want to book trains from Sofia in December on the app or online but it seems that after December, 10th there is no train. Is there as logical reason for it or is it an informatic problem ? Does someone have the same problem ? Thank you for your answers,Clara
Hello! I have some time from December 3 to 10/11 to plan a trip but I am not quite sure how or where to go. I need to be back in Seville, Spain by December 11th. What is the best path to take to maximize my time and enjoy each of the city. I know there is 4 travel days with the 185 euro pass but I do not think there is a direct or fast way to get back to Seville so I may need to book a flight. At the moment, I have no big intentions - explore cities, get to know people (kind of hard as an introvert but willing to push myself out of the comfort zone), and explore different cultures. I know English and Spanish so I do want to stick to big cities where English is somewhat known. It is my first trip like this so definitely a bit scared. At the moment, I was thinking of starting in Paris (stay 2 nights). Paris to Amsterdam (but maybe not stay in Amsterdam) then Amsterdam to Berlin (stay in Berlin for a day or two), Berlin to Prague (stay in Prague for 2 nights), then Prague to Vienna (stay
Hey! So my name is Katherine and I planned to start my journey at the end of January. I won a Global pass last year and my question is, if it is possible for me to buy an one country pass extra for traveling in Italy whilst using my actual pass for the other countries because I planned my most stops in Italy.
We are travelling by train all over Switzerland in early January 2023. Mainly on the scenic routes. Will we need to reserve a seat at this time of year or can we jump on the train without reserving a seat? Thanks.
Hi there, I’m planning ahead for a trip from London to Hamburg next summer and would like to travel Brussels-Cologne-Hamburg. When looking at potential routes (via the Interrail seat reservation tool), it only shows the route Brussels-Amsterdam-Duisberg-Hamburg, even for trips this month. That seems like a long way around with some very tight connections. Anyone know why that is? How will I be able to reserve seats on the route I want to use?Thank you very much. A
We’ll be touring Southern Europe this upcoming summer, and one of the ‘hops’ is from Pula, Croatia into Italy.I’ve noticed there is (a rather costly, but effective) bus transportation from Pula, Croatia to Trieste, Italy (2 hours), but the train journey via Eurail seems much more complicated (several hops, 6 hours, etc).Is there an effective (short, less than 4 hours) way to get from Pula, Croatia to anywhere in Italy with the Eurail pass?Thank you so much in advance.
Don’t get the stupid eurrail pass if you are in France. First of all everything requires a booking fee, normally from 10-30 euros one way. Second of all, you can’t go anywhere like London or Amsterdam unless you book like two months ahead, which u might aswell get plane tickets if ur booking that far in advance. This stupid pass cost me more money than I could afford to lose.
I am working on my itinerary for my honeymoon and the last place we will be visiting in Italy before we go elsewhere is Venice. Our plans are to go to Salzburg, Austria after we leave Venice and schedule wise, we were thinking we would be leave Venice on a Saturday morning and take a train to Salzburg. My question is, do they have morning trains that go from Venice to Salzburg on Saturdays? This would be at the beginning of May this next year.
Just an idea that might help Interrail users. We live about 400 km from Southampton and have cruised from there a few times. We are considering using an Interrail Global pass in conjunction with our next cruise and the numbers seem to compare with the alternatives of driving and parking or flying from local airport. To travel by peak time trains would be extortionately expensive or inflexible, but allows unlimited luggage and avoids a long drive.A four day pass would be just over 200 pounds and no UK res costs.2 UK days and then 2 days of tickets to use in ports e.g. Lisbon to Sintra or Le Havre to Paris. Compared to cruise excursions this saves another couple of hundred pounds.
I have a 15day/2month Global Pass and I am traveling from Munich to Innsbruck. On the planner it is saying "Conditions Apply."Question... 1) What does this mean, 2) Is it something I need to worry about on this particular trip since I have a 15day/2month Global Pass 3) and if it is something to worry about it, how I avoid or correct this?Thank you in advance
I am planning to travel form Tromso to Kiruna by taking bus and train on 14 Jan 2023. I have downloaded the Troms Billett app but can’t buy bus ticket on that date. 1. How many day in advance to buy bus ticket from Tromso to Narvik in the app?Do you have any suggestion or alternate route to travel form Tromso to Kiruna?Thank you so much
Hi Everyone,I want to add a journey from Amsterdam to Bruges on the 21st Dec and Bruges to Cologne on 23rd Dec but the search returns “Sorry, we can’t find any trains that match your search”.Does anyone know when these Belgium late December timetables will be updated? For reference, I can do the same search for these trains on earlier dates (10th Dec) and they appear fine.
Hello! I am trying to find the best way to travel from Oslo to Gothenburg. I checked if there were maybe ferry, but I didn’t find anything. I found train on sj.se, and I wanted to ask why it is more expensive than the other route, such as Stockholm - Oslo.I have to reach Germany then, so if maybe someone has experience with these routes and want to give me an advice, it would be nice! Also if it means to change plan and not to go to Gothenburg from Oslo. Thank you in advance.
I am going to be traveling in Italy next May for my honeymoon and I’m trying to set up my itinerary. I didn’t have any problems finding train routes from Rome to Florence but after we leave Florence, we plan to go to Cinque Terre. However, no routes show up when searching trains from Florence to La Spezia on Eurail. Additionally, after we leave La Spezia, we will head to Venice but I couldn’t find any routes for that either from La Spezia to Venice. What should I do about these two train trips?
I have a layover in Bologna for 4 hours and 11 minutes from the hours of 0109-0520. QUESTIONS.... 1) Can you sleep in the train station waiting area? 2) And if so, is it safe? 3) Also, any tips you could provide for staying for thise few hours IF you can not stay in the waiting area?Thank you in advance!
I saw the website stated that there is regional train from Milan to Tirano. Therefore, I’m planning to take train and then take the Bernina Express at Tirano. However, I saw the train journey is totally different during the early of December (2 hours) compare to the date that I travel (15 hours). Does the timetable accurate?

Help!My plan for January involves several sleeper trains, until a few days ago these weren’t even on timetables. Now everything seems to have sold out almost instantly. Is there any way round this as it is deeply frustrating as it will mean altering all my plans. I am looking to do the following.9th January - either Brussels or Amsterdam to Munich15th January - Budapest to Brasov - this one doesn’t even seem to be possible without going overnight23rd January Bucharest to ViennaIs it now impossible to book sleeper or couchette places on these routes? If so, can anyone suggest alternative ways of getting between those places on at least roughly those dates?
Hi there! I am trying to see if train schedules from London to Brugge and Paris are available for my trip on April 2023, but I get the following answer: “we can’t find any trains that match your search”. Is this because schedules haven’t been released yet? I appreciate your help!
Hi,do you know any good Club in Genua ?Kira :)
Hi,I am planning a trip in January next year which will go roughly. Germany-Austria-Hungary-Romania and then ideally back to the UK by a more southerly route. I have a couple of questions. The train times search on interrail.eu seems to only show certain trains - for example Vienna to Budapest only shows a train departing at 19:42 each evening but the OBB and Deutsche Bahn websites show multiple trains through the day. Is the pass only valid on the 19:42 or is this a problem with the website?Second does anyone know of any onward options from Romania? Whatever timetables I look at seem to show that I can go as far as Sofia in Bulgaria and no further. Otherwise from either Bulgaria or Romania the only option appears to be to retrace my steps to Budapest. Do any trains run west to Serbia or North Macedonia?
Hi friends!I decided to extend my trip in Saint Malo by two days instead of staying overnight in Mont St. Michel.I’m seeing a few Railplanner options from Gare Saint Malo to Mont Saint Michel but the way back looks pretty meager. Also can’t find the routes on SNCF or DB or Trainline app.I know the Railplanner is only updated once a month but wondering if i’m missing something or if I just need to call it quits. I’d like to go tomorrow 28/10 and I am heading to Lille on 29/10 and it’s surprisingly faster and more direct to go to Lille from St. Malo than Rouen (capital of Normandy and halfway to Lille!). So shocked. Can anyone please help me figure out if this plan is feasible? I’d really like to do a day trip to visit Normandy and be able to make it back to St Malo for my last night in Bretagne. Thanks in advance! Edited to add:the ones i saved in railplanner are:10:30 - 12:14 for under 2 hours.. then the returns are basically a 48 min ride at 13:41 (gives me no time to explore)or 18:47
Hi! I’m traveling to Lille from St malo and booked the only seat reservation left from 15:39 29/10 Saturday It’s refundable so I can explore my options.I’m wondering if there are any other train stops that I can look into stopping through so that I can arrive earlier. I tried Versailles and booking individual from Rennes to Paris but no luck. Are there any other stations that I can intentionally stop through to arrive to my final destination earlier? I just don’t know that much about train stations and I’m having a hard time finding that information, but this community has been really helpful in the past with giving me other alternate routes to take. Thank you! PS. Train strikes When there are train strikes, does that mean we should completely take alternate transit like Uber? on the day I leave London Heathrow, there are train strikes and I believe the metro is also not working that day, 3/11 November 3. I’m staying over an hour away LHR by train and metro as is, so I want to be prepa

Of course it is a Ferry ride to get there. 1) Does the Eurail Global Pass cover this ferry boat ride?2) How do I enter a ferry in to the Trip Planner? When I enter the two cities and hit search it tells me "There is no train that matches my search"Thank you in advance
