I wondered if anyone can help with this please:)I have added the 14.25 from Paris Lyon to Avignon on the 25th Aug to ‘my trip’ and successfully bought seat reservations but have just checked and it doesn’t appear in the journey planner anymore. I have looked on Sncf and trainline websites and it is showing up on their sites which is confusing me. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

We will be landing in Paris from Singapore early morning on the 17th and will be flying out mid-day on the 28th from Brussels. We are a family of 4 (2 teens) so we’d probably rather visit more places. We have the Eurail 4 day pass. This is what I’ve thought of so far:Paris: 3 nights20th: Paris to Strasbourg (already reserved on TGV)Strasbourg: 2 nights (day-trip to nearby towns eg. Colmar)22nd: Strasbourg to MunichMunich: 2 nights24th: Munich to AmsterdamAmsterdam: 2 nights26th: Amsterdam to BrugesBruges: 1 night27th: Bruges to Brussels28th: Flying out of Brussels Could anyone please critique this itinerary, or suggest alternative places to go? We’re unsure about Munich, especially as Strasbourg → Munich and Munich → Amsterdam trains are very hectic with switching trains etc.Could anyone also suggest whether to reserve seats on the trains where it isn’t required (eg. ICE trains). It is peak tourist season so I suppose it will be a good idea.

Really struggling to find anything in Montenegro, and seems the only way to get to Croatia is expensive buses… are the train services not working or something? and what’s the best way to get between the two countries please? 

Hey, me and my partner are planning our 1month interrail journey in August and our planned destinations will probably be Amsterdam,Paris,Madrid,Lissabon,Barcelona. We want to travel rather cheap but also want to be spontaneous. Has anyone experiences with traveling during main season without planning anything beforehand? Is it possible to come to a new city without any plan of a place to sleep and find one for relatively good price, means below 40euro per person per night.?My Main concern here is hostels being sold out and prices rising the sooner you book to the actual date you are sleeping thereMy father told my about his interrail trips when he was 20, back then you could just do everything spontaneously ,so it was one big adventure. Is this still possible? Or has interrail fundamently changed since then.  

Hi! Am planning on travelling around Europe for the first time for a month, and we are leaving on Monday! and at the end we are travelling around Europe going from Belgrade → Skopje → Sofia → Bucharest → Cluj Napoca → Budapest. I am confused as ithe Interrail website says that there is no train from Belgrade to Skopje (it doesn’t even recognise Niš as a place) neither Skopje to Sofia, or not even Belgrade to Sofia (as we thought travelling to Skopje was the problem). I was just wondering if there is actually a way to get to these countries because I have looked online and it says there are trains and routes (such as the Hellas train) but then when I look it up to make reservations it doesn’t exist on the website. Is it a case where we wing it and book it there or can i not actually travel there? Thank you! This is very urgent so any help would be appreciated!!

Hi, I want to get from Kopenhagen main station to Bordeaux St-Jean starting on July 13th. HiTrenitalia has two new train “lines”the train from Bologna at 17:00 to S. Benedetto del Tronto on Fridays and the train from S. benedetto del Tronto on Sundays starting at 15:15 accept only Ticket with their special tariff, so Interrail/Eurail are not valid. on Fridays the Regionale Veloce 18131 “MARCHE LINE”  starting in Piacenza (15:15) via Bologna (17:00) and arriving via Ancona to S. Benedetto del Tronto at 20:42.on Sundays the Regionale Veloce 18128 “MARCHE LINE” starting in S. Benedetto del Tronto (18:27) via Ancona and Bologna (21:52) to Piacenza (23:25). This MARCHE LINE trains accepts only Tickets that have this train on the Ticket. All other regional tickets like normal fare tickets or abo, are not valid. They do not explain if this is also the case for Interrail/Eurail but it doesn’t look like it will. I will ask directly Trenitalia for information, but their customer “care” is known for nonsense answers. In this case it only is the case for 2 trains on weekends. All other

Hi there. What international trains are currently running from Sofia and Bucharest train stations. Are there any to Serbia (eg direct to Belgrade) from either country for example? Through my online research it seems like lots of the trains have been discontinued due to Covid, so just wondering what options are available from each of these sittings. Thanks

Hi. We plan to travel down (next week) from Finland to Estonia, then onto Latvia, Lithuanian onto Poland. App does work for Latvia, Lithuanian, we have booked a bus from Tallinn to Riga, then not sure what route/method we take onto Lithuanian then to Poland? Bus and/or train via which cities? 

Hello everyone!This was probably asked many times but I need a proper confirmation. If I take a night train from Amsterdam to Prague, where there are no direct train route and is required to have 1 change of train somewhere in Germany, would it count as 2 days or still 1 day pass? I’m very confused with this rule because there are no direct routes!

I'm travelling with a friend to Sweden. We are planning on wild camping in sküleskogen. Is the global pass 4 days in one month enough?I think the best way is to go to Stockholm first. Do any of you have any tips to go from Stockholm to Skuleskogen? I've backpacked one time before but I'm still quite unexperienced so I'd love some help and confirmation about this! 

Hey guys! Its my first time interrailing this summer. I wanted to ask if it is easily possible to travel between smaller villages by train and if those are also included in the interrail global pass? Do you have any tipps? And are other countries like Spain or France better or not?

I have an interrail global pass and from this part of the trip, I have to go from Slovenia to Thessaloniki. I am super flexible. I am basically looking for the cheap and awesome. My plan was  passing through Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and end up in Greece but I don’t seem to find train connections there (I am starting to wonder why..).Interrail says that there are trains in those countries. I read somewhere that I have to do so through that country rail company. Other say it is better by bus (I prefer things that are included in the global pass as I already paid for it, but maybe that is the solution). My worry is that I cannot find anything because there is no train or that I go somewhere and moving from there to the next country is not possible by train. Does someone has a good suggestion? 

Hello everyone,I have a reservation for a train from Copenhagen to Stockholm (7 July 21:27 - 8 July 05:46, change in Malmö), it has 1 change and that change is a night train. The problem is that the train isn’t shown on the eurail sites nor rail planner app. The closest train to these two trains are: 7 July 22:47 - 8 July 05:46. It also has one change and it arrives at the same time to Stockholm.Also the train doesn’t leave at the same time from Copenhagen, the train change is in Hassleholm and (especially the night trains) the train numbers don’t match (the Hassleholm one is RE 1112, NT 2 and the Malmö one is RE 1104, NT 4). I hope that it’s NT 4, if Tåg 4 on the seat reservation ticket means that it’s NT 4 then it should be that.Which one is right? Is this train even in the interrail pass or just the times are not updated again? I guess I don’t have to care about the regional trains because they don’t require a reservation, so I can take whichever one I want, but what about the night

Wie o wie kan mij helpen voor een mooie route naar Porto te bedenken. Ik heb nu t/m Bordeaux geboekt en dacht rond 28 juli vanuit Bordeaux naar San Sebastian te gaan, er is een snel trein van +/- 3 uur maar is op deze app niet te vinden. Wel een met enorme omweg van + 24 uur of zo. En dat is geen optie.Wat kan ik nu het beste doen?Ik vind het erg lastig en hoop dat er iemand is die mij verder op weg kan helpen naar eindbestemming Porto.Vriendelijke groet,Ada.

Anyone know if the pass is valid to Fontainebleau? The journey shows up in the app, but trying to book a normal ticket from Gare de Lyon for my companion I noticed it's RER so apparently interrail not valid?

When I look up this return journey on the Rail Planner site, almost all of the journeys are ‘not in pass network’.  Any advice please?ThanksKaren

My husband and I have booked flights to Europe, we are arriving in Amsterdam and leaving from Paris. We are thinking we will get  a  10 day flex pass on Eurail? Does this work on night trains? our thoughts are to book three nights in Amsterdam, then book as we go? We have also tentatively booked the seat reservations for the Glacier express in Switzerland. From Amsterdam we are thinking, Brussels?  Or night train to Vienna then Vienna day train to Switzerland? From Switzerland then head over to the south  of France? Possible stay somewhere around Nice? Then Boudreaux? suggestions are greatly appreciated! We are thinking we need reservations for some of these trains but not sure how we book ? Hi everyone!Me and a friend are currently planning our Italy trip in September and we are a little confused regarding the trains. For some reason the Trenitalia website won’t show any trains from Palermo (Sicily) to Napoli in mid-September. The last time we checked, there were still trains going, but now the website claims, that there are no trains going after the 11th. But I can’t imagine, that there are simply no trains. Does anybody have an idea why that is? We already booked our hostels and everything, so it would be nice to know if we can leave Sicily via train, as we would have to change a big chunk of our plans, if there are no trains...Thank you in advance! :)

Hello everyone!Me and my girlfriend are planning to go from Madrid→ Porto → Lisabon → Sevilla.As we’re currently planning it shows that there is a real scarcity to of possible connections. What is the most recommended route?We’re planning to travel from Madrid to Porto around 22th of July. and maybe a week later from Lisabon to Sevilla.At the moment the only viable options are to from Madrid → Vigo (bus)→ Valenca → PortoAnd from Lisabon → Faro (bus)→ Sevilla.If anyone got any tips or even great alternative plans, I’m more than happy to hear them.Thanks in Advance

We are 2 seniors from Israel and we are planning to land in Munich and then take a train to Zalsburg. After 5 days to return back to Munich. We want to see a bit of Tirol and lakes. We want to travel (via France) in Spain and Portugal with the interrail-ticket in July and August.Do you have any tips for these countries?For example we found out that in France they only have limited capacities for interrailers and now we are way too late for reserving high-speed-trains in France, which is a big problem. If we would have known that earlier… So maybe there are similar things we should know about Spain and Portugal?E.g. is it true that we can reserve seats only at local train stations in Spain and Portugal? Is it possible that then they are sold out as well?Is it possible to explore also smaler towns and villages with the interrail-ticket in these countries or is the railroad network too bad? Are there maybe buses we are allowed to use?Thanks a lot for sharing your experience!
