Hello everyone,I will start my Interrail Journey to Italy from Aachen on September 17. In Italy I will meet up with some friends in Pescara. From their, it will basically be Pescara → Rome → Naples → Catania → Palermo and then I will stay some time in Sicily and go back to Germany either by Night Trains or I will fly back to Germany. I need to be in Pescara at September 24 or earlier. Now I am quite unsure about how to get to Pescara in the best way. Thats why I need your advice about the itinerary to Pescara.I definitely want to save up some money for Rome and the South of Italy (even though but budget really is not very tight) and I do not want to stay very long in the north. But at least a few days and two locations should be between Aachen and Pescara, since I do not want any 12 hour train rides. I prefer to travel more slowly. I think a night in Switzerland is something I cannot get around, but I am afraid, that it will be really expensive.I like hiking a lot and the Alps in Genera
Hello I will be going to the following locations in august flying into amsterdam train or plane to prague train to munich train to Zurich fly out of Zurich my question comes in for the trip from Amsterdam to Prague. I am hears a bunch of horror stories about the amsterdam airport but the train ride is about 9 hours and there are no night trains. I did see there was a night train from amsterdam to Munich but the couchette and sleeper cars are booked. Super bummed as we had orginally planned to fly and don’t really want to do a night train and sit in the seating area without beds. Anyone have any recommendations, I am super lost
Do I need to book hostels in advance to get the best price?I am starting interrail on August 15.
We are thinking of London, Eurostar via Paris and Milan, down the Adriatic coast to Sicily. Anyone done this? We are familiar with the Eurostar and trains in Sicily but not between. Any pitfalls? Tips? What ticlets to buy from where?
Hi all! This summer I'm planning to travel from Estonia (Tallinn) to Latvia (Riga) to Lithuania (Vilnius) and eventually to Poland (Bialystok/Warszawa). I am entering Tallinn from Stockholm with a boat. Since Eurail doens't support the railway sites for the Baltic states I went to the sites of these countries by myself. My understandings are that it is possible to go from Tallinn to Riga (via Valga), but when I am looking to see if its possible to go from Riga to Vilnius it seems to be trouble. This is mainly because the railway site of Lithuania doesn't seem to be working for me.It was my plan to go from Riga to Daugavpils, to switch trains en travel further to Vilnius. From Vilnius I wanted to go to Kaunas, to go to Bialystok and eventually travel to Warszawa. Here on the forum I am reading that travel from Estonia to Latvia isn't possible, however the railway sites of these countries (Elron and Pasazieru Vilciens) say that it is still possible. Via the route I mentioned above. I am w
Does anyone know how can I reach Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Bosnia ? It’s been quite difficult and the app doesn’t have any information Thank you
Hey there, In may i bought the interrail youth pass 2 months. I activated it in june, and its valid untill the end of August. Today (26/06) i traveled from utrecht cs to dusseldorf and back in one day. The ticket inspector just told me that i’ve used all of my in/outbounds already which would mean that i’m not able to travel from my home country (the netherlands) to another country in europe. The app says i have 67 days left…. I was planning to go to switzerland for a week starting from the 31st of july. How do i plan my trip now? do i buy seperate tickets to the border? i am also 17 so i travel with 40% discount in summer. Can someone help me plan my trip without in/outbounds? It’s pretty confusing… thanks a lot!
Hey, I have no idea how to get from Athens to Sofia. Is there anybody help me? :)
I understand there are a a lot of Improvement on the train tracks in Sweden this summer. I am searching for a overview of which routes. I did not find the information on sj.se.
Hi,I would like to travel from Skopje to Thessaloniki in August. I know that the train is not an option on this route so I will have to take the bus. However, I cannot seem to find any information online on International busses departing from Skopje. I did find a Rule Turs bus bookable on busticket4.me or getbybus on Tue, Thu, Sat: Skopje - Thessaloniki 8.30-13.05, but I don't know how reliable these sites are as I could not find a (working) site of Rule Turs itself. Does anybody have more information/experience regarding this route?Thank you in advance.
Me and my boyfriend are planning an interrail trip from Amsterdam to Athene. We want to travel from Amsterdam to Innsbruck and from Innsbruck to Zurich. Thereafter we want to travel to Serbia to continue our journey to Athene, but we can not find a connection between Zurich or another place in Swiss and Belgrado in Serbia. Has anyone done this before and can tell us how we can travel between Swiss and Serbia? Thanks in advance! :)

Hi !I’m planning a trip in Ireland this summer and I struggle to search for hostels. Does anyone knows great cheap youth hostels in Dublin and the countryside ? Because all I can find are dormitories at 30€ per night which seams… enormous to me !thanks
Hi!
Muchas gracias!! :)
My son has a two month Eurail Pass with 15 train rides. We have friends in a ski town called VARS in the Alpes. I see that there is a train from Paris to Chorges. Can I get my son from Chorges to Mont Dauphin via bus? I think he can get a ride from Mont Dauphin to Vars from our friends but this seems the most efficient? Also, does the Eurail pass cover the TGV high speed train? In that case he can take that from Paris (Lyon)-Grenoble. I would then need to get him from Grenoble to Mont Dauphin where he could get picked up. So looking for the most efficient way to get my son from Paris-Vars. Cheers! Joe
hello all, I see that if I am to avoid any further reservation costs then I will need to travel at a slower pace and possible take a more senic route.I had planned down to Valence to be near the express train to Milan from Chambery, however I’m not wishing to spend much more money on reservations for the 5 of us!!!!!I had dreamt of a trip in a life time on the Brenina Express but it is become apparant that it may not be a dream for all the family so I am asking you if there is a route that could be of interest for kids that takes us from France into Itlay possibly going a little higher up to drop back down to Milan, then to the coast and back into France to take the nice to Paris train home. It is interesting how many variations the planner can provide with such a range of stops. Ideally I’m looking to brake the scenic journey into two parts with around 3-4hrs travel max. and apptempting to avoid the expense of city centre accoadation. Any suggests, ideas or shared past experience appr
I will be in Belgrade in mid July. I want to eventually make my way to Athens. I understand that the Hellas night train is not running as trains in Serbia are cancelled and there are no international border crossings in Greece. I am happy to end up taking a bus to another city and then the train from there, and more than happy to stop at other destinations on my way to Athens. I know once I am in Greece, I can simply take a train to Athens, but its the getting to Greece that's challenging.
Hello.I am planning to travel Ljubljana, Slovenia to Zagreb, Croatia, and then Zagreb to Sarajevo, Bosnia, and after to Belgrade, Serbia. However, I can't to find the itineraries among those cities. Is there a train with Europass among those cities? The web of Eurorail indicates that there are train among these countries. Also I am planning to travel from Sofia to Athens. Is there some email address where I can send a message with may detailed itinerary?RegaresCarlos
Hi, I would like to travel from biarritz to the barcelona - Valencia region, preferably via Northern Spain( Bilbao- San Sebastián) but that seems almost impossible. Do I really need to take the bus to get there? do you have suggestions for me?thanks and kind regards from Tamara

I live in the UK near Manchester. I’m originally from Zambia. I love travelling, especially seeing culture, way of life, local cuisine, nature, architecture. I have travelled to a few places in Europe, but now I have bought Interrail pass to explore more in Europe. I would to see France, Belgium, Austria, Hungary and either Bulgaria or Hungary. However I have no experience in train travel. I will appreciate any help with planning an itinerary for about a month to see these places. I will start on Eurostar train from London, go to France. This is where I need help to decide which cities to go to and what trains to use. Then onto Belgium and other countries and return back to London.I look forward to all help and will really appreciate. Thank you in advance
