I need.advice on how to use eurail pass visiting london dublin brugge munich and paris .Travel time and how to reserve ferry. Because I also need to book Hotels

I bought a railwaypass yesterday. My plan is to travel by train from Amsterdam to Stornoway. Anyone has experienced what is possible by train and ferry?

Hello! I'm fairly new here, so looking for some advice on a potential travel plan. Now I'm from India, and I plan to travel to Turkey, go to Seville, then London, and then head back to India. I was wondering if there was a direct train of sorts possible for the Turkey - Seville connection, or is there a cheaper was than the Eurail, or what the best way of doing the Europe/UK part of the trip is, since if nothing works out, I think flying if the only thing I can think of. 

Hi, I bought a 2 month pass with my girlfriend and am currently planning a trip for the end of july/start of august. We have plans to travel from Amsterdam deep into eastern europe, currently looking at Croatia/Serbia/Bosnia Herzegovina and perhaps even North-macedonia and Bulgaria.All the way until Zagreb, the railway planner app seems to be able to find trains just fine.However, when i try to find trains from Zagreb to Beograd or from Beograd to Skopje, the app shows no results whatsoever. How come, and where should I find these trains then?

Hi, I’d like to travel by train from Wales to Barcelona at the end of May. I’m up for spending some nights in other cities on the journey. Does anyone know the best route and the cheapest way to do this? I’ll also take any recommendations for places to visit/hostels to stay at on the way.

Hey all,I’m planning on doing a lot of train traveling in March 2023. I really don’t care if I’m on the Eurail for a long time, since I am just trying to be in these countries for a little bit and say that I’ve been to all of these countries. I have never been to Europe. It will be my first time next year, traveling solo!This is what I really want to do, but I realize that I may not be able to. I already have a permanent place near Wembley Stadium in the London, UK area. My yellow highlights are the places I really want to visit, take some cool pictures, walk around, get some food, soak up the scenery, and call it. I’ll be in Europe for 9ish days. Mostly exploring London.  European Countries I want to go to for a 1-day trips (mostly being on the Eurail)London to Paris & Paris to London London to Madrid & Madrid to London London to Lisbon & Lisbon to London London to Dublin & Dublin to LondonDo any of you know where I can find info about how long these 1-day trips would

I want to know if I can use my ticket to visit littlest towns close to Geneve as Morges, Lausana, Montreux, Vevey,  because I’m not sure if I can use my pass in one day to visit all those littles towns. 

Can anybody suggest a logical route here, please? They are all so close l am not sure it makes too much difference but if l save an hour or two, l would be grateful Dusseldorf, Wuppertal, Essen, Bochum, Cologne, Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Monchengladbach. I would be arriving into the area from Brussels and moving on to Hamburg.  Thanks in advance 

Hello,I’ll be traveling with interrail this summer with my friends, and our last journey will be taking the Snälltåget night train home to Sweden from Berlin or Hamburg. Since we aren’t planning to spend our last days in these cities, my question is: what are your recommendations for places where Berlin or Hamburg is reachable by day trains?Some background: we will be coming from northern Italy or Austria. We will have seen Berlin and Prague already. We are open to big cities as well as natural wonders. This will all be in July. The night train leaves Berlin at 20:58 and Hamburg at 23:59 (which should still be part of the travel day even if it’s delayed... right?). We’ll of course want a few hours between arriving in northern Germany and departing with the night train. Some of our ideas right now are Munich, Salzburg, Strasbourg. Maybe someone has experience with these cities and can recommend one, or some hidden gem nearby? Or are these dangerously far away?All input is greatly apprec

Hi, I’m Guillermo, and I am planning a solo trip this August from Barcelona-Istanbu, passing thourgh the main capitals of Europe.I have some doubts about the end of the trip, more concretely, about the posible paths to go from Budapest to Istanbul. I’ve done some research and seems like:The Budapest-Belgrade-Sofia-Istanbul route is pretty fucked up with no transparent schedules, etc… in the Serbia part. The better option is to go to Budapest-Bucharest(or Craiova)-Sofia-Istanbul, which seems also pretty bad with lots of changes and no direct trains?Any one that knows how this part is really working now a days? Which is the best route in terms of less complications, and maybe less time? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I read an article somewhere that it was possible to do the Glacier Express route on regional trains, for free. But doing a route search on the Interrail App, between Zermatt and St. Moritz, I get different routes, that do through Zurich, Bern… Which is not the original Glacier route. Any advice?Thanks!

I would like to travel to Andalucia, southern Spain, by rail as an alternative to flying. Would I be able to do this using an Interrail pass? Is it a viable option? And would the card cover all connections without additional ticket costs?

Hi,Our plan was to do a trip through the Balkans as part of our Eurotrip. So far we have planned: Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Vienna - Venice - Ljubljana - Split - Zagreb. From Zagreb we want to go to Belgrade, Bar, Mostar and then end up in Greece. The last potential leg of our trip can’t seem to be planned through the app. Does anyone have any idea of why that is or how we could best plan this part? We are open to adjusting the itinerary if there is a better route. I look forward to reading your replies!

Hey everyone :)I’m planning a trip in the scandinavic countries. I’ll start at Stockholm and want to go first over Oslo to Bergen. During this trip, there is the railway of the Flam train. Anyone has an advice for me to include it efficient to my trip. I saw that the train between Oslo and Bergen stops at Myrdal, which is one stop of the flam rail. Do I have then only the possibility to go a whole round with the flam train back to Myrdal?Thanks for your help.Alex

Hi,me and a friend are going on interrail in june / july for 6 weeks. We will visit the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia. (more specifically; Amsterdam, Bruges, Bern, Como, Venice, Vienna, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana and Split) Should we book trains / hotels in advance; if so how long before? We would prefer to be able to book during the trip but we are skeptical about whether trains and hostels will be sold out as it is high season.Does anyone have experience that trains have been sold out or will there always be available trains every day?

There are no night trains in Inter rail from Peninsula Iberica (Portugal and Spain) and i want so much to have good train experiences. Can you help me?

Hello Eurail CommunityCan somebody coach me in searching a journey from Koeln HBF Station to Bruhl Station (Bruhl, Germany). Bruhl Station is the nearest station to the Bruhl Castle. I seem to not finding in the Eurail Trip planner this Bruhl Station and I cannot find it using the DB Navigator App either.Thank you for any help and coaching.RegardsNathaniel

Hi,I am new and never used Eurail before. I have two children who are 11 and 7. I am really wanting to do a two week summer trip around Europe with them using Eurail. Was just wanting to see if anyone else has travelled on here or any advice you can give me.

Hi there!I am new to the interrail community and I am not sure how to work with it, so maybe you can help? :)This summer I would love to explore Czech by bike. I am only able to go around 10 days. What is the most efficient way?The one country pass will be (I think) the best pass for my situation. That means that I can hop on the train in Keulen and go to Berlin, and from Berlin I can go to Prague (day 1). Then I can go back the same way (day 10). I saw that it’s only available to get a one country pass for 3 days, but I can't travel inside Prague since Prague is the only station in Czech. So one day will get lost? I don’t really know. Also, you can only use it for one month, but does that mean 4 weeks or for example only the month July. Because I can only go from the end of July - beginning of August.Besides that I would want to take my bike, but I cannot find any information about this.Does someone know how this works and how I can organize my trip?Thank you so much.Kind regards,Jess

I would like to travel to Greece via Paris, Nice, Rome, Bari then ferry to Greece in 7 days - is this too much to try and fit in? I have not done Inter rail before.
