I just need some general advise. I haven’t done Interrail for some 40 years and time has passed, I’m very rusty and much older getting my head around Interrail now is proving difficult, can anyone help? I am planning a trip to Italy starting next Monday and I have not booked anything yet. I am flying to Milan and taking a train to Lake Como for the first few days, I probably can do that on a normal ticket rather than using one of my travel days (I was thinking of buying a 6 day travel pass one country). I want to travel from Milan to the following places, Cinque Terra, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Rome, Naples (Pompeii and Sorrento) - then the final leg Naples to Syracuse in Sicily. I really don’t know how to start to book, all my trains / reservations or even if this is the best way to do it. I really need any help that anyone can offer me please to point me in the right direction, I am just finding it all a bit overwhelming. Please can someone advise me? Thank you in advance.
I would like to use the pass in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia. Which buses in these countries are included in the interrail pass?
Hello everybody,as I'm collecting informations for my next trip (maybe summer 2022) through Scandinavia, I just found out that a swedish company will offer a route from Berlin- Hamburg -Malmö- Stockholm. Can't believe how lucky I am, because it travels to Hamburg, and that would be the perfect route for me. Wanted to share this information and happiness with you. 😊Just wondering how the "recliner seats" will be, sounds like you can line them up, that it's an even place to sleep on. And that or a normal seat are the only options for solo traveller... Has anyone from you yet traveled with Snalltaget? And expierence with this recliner seats?https://www.snalltaget.se/en/berlinBest wishes,Dot
Is there any alternative to high speed trains to go from Stockholm to Oslo
Hi,I'm trying to plan a trip through scandinavia by train. Now I see on the rail map that (with interrail?) I can't travel to a place like Narvik. When I enter this place in the travel planner I can travel to this station. Does anyone know how this works? Is the rail map not correct? Or does this destination perhaps not fall under interrail travel?
As far as I can tell from other conversations in here, it is not necessary to book seat reservations between Chur and Tirano. Is that true and what about in the high season? We are traveling on 18 July and will be traveling all the way (3-4 hrs) to get to Tirano to spend the night. Any tips? It seems from both ÖBB and SBB websites that it is not possible to book at seat reservation. But is it not necessary?
How would I get from Rome centre to Vatican City and how much would it cost?
I bought a Eurail Pass but the schedule for a few routes I need is. not open yet. It seems that since this is less than 2 months away, I would be able to reserve seats. I am needing Florence to Ravenna on June 18, 2022 and Ravenna to Rome on June 26, 2022. I am only seeing trains available through June 11 and there is only one per day? Does anyone know when I these needed trains will be available to reserve?

SOLVEDUpdate: I think I found it, there is a nighbus to Castets Hello I’m looking for suggestions to travel from San Sebastian to Vielle-Saint-Girons. No trains I guess but also I cannot find bus routes Tips and/or a good route planner for this area are welcome!Thank you
Hi there, I’ve booked a 4 Day Global Pass and want to confirm that the following trip is possible using this passing. The trip involves one night train which seemed to confuse the planner as to how many days of travel would be required. I read that if I take a night train directly (without changing trains) between two destinations that this only counts as one day of travel. Can you please confirm that the following trip only requires a four day pass? The trip is as follows:27/06: Sibiu (23:01) → Budapest (8:50)+130/06: Budapest (07:40) -→ Prague (14:42)01/07: Prague (14:25) -→ Berlin (18:35)04/07: Berlin (08:31) -→ Paris (16:54) Kindly,Corey
Hello, I like to go via a nice route, I hope you have some suggestions for me.If possible: without reservations / without additional costs (but the route itself is more important) 😀2 Traveldays. Thank you
How would I get from Berlin Brandenburg Airport to Berlin city. Would this be something to book or is it easy to find transport from the airport. I’m a solo traveler so want it to be quite straightforward when I leave the airport. Also what’s the average/cheapest prices for the transport. This is also the same from Rome city to Rome Fiumicino. Thanks :)
Hello can anybody advise on my planned trip? 2 adults 2 youths (12-15) London to Paris 2 nights 16-18th Aug 2022Paris to Perpignan for camping 10 nights 18th - 28th Aug 2022Perpignan to London 28th Aug 2022 The cost is higher for general tickets on Rail Europe/Trainline so I'm interested in the Interrail Pass but the more I read the more confused I'm getting! Hi, I’m thinking of travelling to Europe and just had a few questions: 1) If I buy a ticket from Paris to Zurich, would I be able to get off the train and explore on the stops along the way with the ticket I have, or would I have to get a separate ticket to get back on the route? 2) Would you recommend getting a travel pass or separate train tickets to travel from Paris, to Lucerne, to Montreux, to Milan, to Venice, to Florence to Rome. I am planning to stay in each city for 2-3 days. 3) Would you recommend taking a flight or the train for travelling between the destinations I mentioned Thank you in advance for your help!
Hello, my wife and I will be traveling throughout Europe this year for about a month. One area we are having trouble with is the route from Munich to Paris. We have a Eurail pass and the planner app but we are having trouble finding a good route to add to our itinerary and it is making it difficult to plan out. July 10th is when we plan to set out to Paris, does anyone have advice on this route? What trains to take? Is there any additional costs we need to plan for? (Reservations/high speed/night trains etc.) Any info would be helpful!
