Hello I’m trying to plan my way from Budapest to Athens but find it quite difficult to found my way around… Does someone know how to get to Athens in the easiest possible way?

Hey :) I am unsure how many days I have to buy. My plan is to go from Trelleborg to Stockholm  (8:07-14:34/ 8am-2pm) and on the same day from Stockholm to Narvik  (18:11-12:48/ 6pm-1pm) is it right that this journey only counts as one day? My other plans are: Fauske → Trondheim (22:02-7:14/ 10pm-7am) = second day & Trondheim → Oslo (23:17-6:50/ 11pm-7am) or (15:23-22:02 / 3pm-10pm) = third day &  Oslo → Bergen (8:25-15:10 / 8am-3pm) = day 4 & Bergen →  Oslo  (8:15-15:15 / 8am-3pm) = day 5 & train back to Germany  = day 6 and maybe 7 Am I right that I need a 7 day globalpass? And that I am going to have one day left for safety? Thank you in advance ! :) 

Hello,During my trip through Holland I want to go to Bremen in Germany from Groningen.However, to go between these two cities the schedule planner offers me a Groningen to Leer in Germany by bus then Leer Groningen by train.Is this bus included in the global pass? Do you know how I can get to Bremen only by train?Thanks for the help :)

Hello,I am planning a multi country trip across Europe and planning to use the EU Rail system.  I am starting my trip in Lisbon Portugal and to my understanding the best station to use for my connecting city (Madrid Spain) would be Oriente to Chamartin.  Is there a clear lookup for each station address based on the city i am in and planning on going to? For reference iam trying to do:  Lisbon to Madrid to Paris to Brussels to Amsterdam to Frankfurt to Zurich to Rome

Hi! I'm a college student with a 22 day global pass, my original route began in Thessaloniki in Greece however it was to difficult to get across to the likes of montenegro to croatia. Does anyone know any other routes that does not include going to Belgrade to directly croatia? We would love to see Montenegro and Albania but we don't want to backtrack on ourselves. Otherwise we will be beginning in Croatia and going from there. Thanks!

    Dear community my friends and I are planning a route to the balkans for this july/august. Our favorite route at the moment would bring us from budapest to belgrad. From serbia we would like to travel to Split, Croatia with a stopp in Sarajevo. Destinations from there on are Zagreb and Ljubjlana. There seems to be great change in the serbian railsystem and from budapest to belgrad as well as to sarajevo and split there seem to be no train routes. Do any of you may know if they are likely to finish the rails for this summer? At least from Budapest to Belgrad? If we would take busses to these destinations, are these gonna be paid for with the interrail planner? If not, do you guys have any tips on how to travel from Budapest to Split in another way? Or from Belgrad to Split? What are your experiences on travelling in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegowina?

Hello everyone,I am planning a one-month trip from Venice to Sofia from mid-March to mid-April.All the way from Italia to Greece is pretty easy to plan, but the Balkans’ part is way more difficult.I am especially struggling to find train tickets:- From Athens to Florina > Even on the website of the Greek trains company Trainose, I don’t find any tickets, even when I look for travels from Athen to Larissa - Larissa to Florina. I tried as well with a step in Thesaloniki... For all these options, the website said there is no ticket at all... Does that mean that there is no train anymore in Greece ? Or is it just impossible anymore to book on Trainose ? And where to book a ticket, then ?- From Florina to Bitola > As far as I understood, there is no train line crossing the border between Greece and North Macedonia... How to cross the border, then ? Are there any buses or cheap cabs ? Is it safe to cross the border here as a women alone without traveling by train ?- From Kochani to Sof

When getting on a train to another destination in Europe how do you know which train station to get the train from and which station it goes to? Are there multiple options. Thanks. 

Does anybody know if in the app (Rail Planner), there's a best station to book a seat reservation from London to Disney Paris? I cannot see inside the app an option directly to the station Marne-la-Vallée. #help

Hello,I would like to travel from Kosice (Slowakia) to Brasov (Romania) and there is an option to travel via Chop. This city is in Ukraine (close to the border). Is it possible to travel that route with a Global Pass or do I have to pay extra, and how about covid-regulations in Ukraine for travellers who only visit the railway station?

Hi, I am traveling true Europe with my girlfriend. And we travel from Norway to Spain. We do not plan to stay in hotels and hostels. we are going to camp outside of the city’s. Where is the best and safest place to camp in this different city’s with easy access to the city’s. Danemark (Copenhagen)Germany (Hamburg)Bulgaria (brussel)France (Paris,Bordeaux)Spain (Madrid,Gibraltar) Please help us. I have done it one time before, but my girlfriend is sceptical about it. Last time I didn’t plan anything and just stayd at parks with my hammock, but I had some scary incident that we want to avoid this time. Hi, this is my first time travelling to Europe with my partner. He is currently a short term residence of Spain till end of April 202 & will return home.  At the point of ordering the rail pass, should he still order the interrail pass? We are travelling from 21 Mar to 2 April 2022. My itinerary is like this:  London to Munich 23rd March  apparently based on the guide from Seat61.com I can do sleeper train option 1 from London 23rd Mar 1104am → Brussels→ Cologne ->  Munich 24th Mar 7.11amORoption 2 would be London 1104am → Belgium → Frankfurt → Munich 23rd 910pm (this option is search via the Rail planner app)Possible to advice if i still wish to choose the sleeper train option 1, how do i reserve my ticket ensuring is a sleeper train option on OEBB website or if ticket is only available to book from train station, will it be possible to book all route reservation from Spain train stations?  Does the Eurail pass cover my ride from London to Europe as mentioned above? Hey everyone :)I’m someone who loves train journeys, but (shockingly) haven’t yet done any Interrailing as yet… I’m hoping to change that this year.My plan is to travel for 2-3 months from this coming April.I’ll also be working, and so I plan to have one or two “main bases” in that time, with the view to taking rail trips on the weekends. So, for example, I might stay for 1.5 months in two different cities, but whilst staying in those cities make time for day-trips or overnighters on the weekend.I’ve started my research through this website and forum, and eaglerly awaiting the release of the latest edition of Europe by Rail.In the meantime, though, I would love to hear about your favourite routes in Europe, for those who have done longer Interrailing stints in Europe… feel free to chip in or share things as you see fit 😊 🚂Jas

Hi!I'm trying to plan my trip. Here's what I've come up with so far. But this route leaves out Sofia, Bucharest,Thessaloniki, Skopje and Krakow. But i think this is some of the best i can do in 30-40 days. This routes includes some planetickets near the end due to not so good railways. I have never travelled alone before and I really wanna experience travelling abit before i start on my 3 year bachelor lol. Do I need to search for visum? I am a EU resident so I dont think it’s mandatory? Are there many places to wash clothes? I'm gonna stay at hotels, I guess I can pay the cleaners to help me wash my clothes? I hope to get all my stuff inside a small carryon bag.I'm thinking to adjust the days when I go, as long as I am at Split at xx. date to catch the airplane to Belgrade, and then to Athens, so the only fixed number of nights will be at Belgrade and at Athens. So I'll have xx amount of days to distribute on the places inbetween Gdansk and Split.Any feedback or tips?Places to sleep:G

Hi All, I am travelling around Italy in April using the Eurail Pass.Is there a list of stations that are covered?Does the pass have limitations on which places you can stop?Is it only the major cities it can be used for?I am planning to visit a small town in the Alps (Chatillon), can i use the pass to get here? Paul.

If I want to get on the Bernina Express panoramic train from Tirano to St. Moritz (and/or vice versa), do I need a pass that covers Italy as well as Switzerland, or do they waive the requirement for Italy because its such a short stint in Italy (and because that’s what I want the answer to be, but I suspect it won’t be… hahaha). 

I’m planning on travelling Europe at the end of May for 1 month on my own but not sure if this is doable with covid. I’ve had a look on the Re-open EU (europa.eu) but am still unsure. Does anyone know if you have to pay extra for tests/isolate- I’ve been double vaccinated. The route I have in mind is:Belgium(Brussels), Germany(Berlin), Poland(Warsaw), Czechia(Prague), Austria(Vienna), Slovakia(Bratislava), Hungary(Budapest), Croatia(Zagreb), (Potentially Slovenia), Switzerland(Bern), France(Paris).

Is the one-country-interrail pass Switserland valid for the Bernina expresbus? I want to travel from ST Moritz viaTirano to Lugano? I already have the seat-reservations. The express-bus Tirano-Lugano crosses Italy. 

Hi guys, second time interrailer here. Since I visited big cities during my first interrail experience, this time i want to stay more connected with nature and enjoy the various landscapes which Europe is full of. Anyone with suggestions for my travel plan, expecially regarding walks in the mountains in Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland or France (or any other country which is not too far from Italy)? Me and my friend will start the travel this september.

Want to visit rome, Florence, naples.   Dose euro rail serve these towns?  Is there option to get hotel through euro rail?.   If i get Italy euro pass can go round trip to rome?   Is there a phone number with live agent?   Your robot rubbish!

Hola buenas! Contacto con usted para pedir información sobre mi ruta seleccionada, ya que la que he elegido no aparece como tal en el mapa de Europa. Mi ruta empezaría acosté propio en avión desde Madrid a Estocolmo. Seguido de Estocolmo iríamos a Berlín con el interrail, pero en las rutas marcadas por el interrail, no hay una ruta como tal de Estocolmo a Berlín. De ahí quiero saber si hay algún problema o debemos de seleccionar otra opción. Seguido de Berlín vamos a Praga, otra que igual no aparece como ruta en el interrail. De Praga a Cracovia. De Cracovia a Budapest. Por último de Budapest a Nápoles. A donde quiero llegar es que no aparece la ruta como tal de un punto a otro. Abría algún problema en elegir esa ruta?.
