I want to surprise my wife with like a 14-21 days trip across Europe and wherever we go to end up by train. We have never been on trains before like this, and would like to hit as many beautiful places in the alloted time, but still have time to enjoy them.No need for return trip to Lisbon, as we will be flying back to Canada after this train ride. Would love to hear some great ideas as beginners...I've heard people going as far east as Asia, some east then south, etc etc....we are open minded....thank you so much
Hi travelmatesDoes any of you know how to travel from italy to egipt by ferry? Better if we can use a discount of interrail :)Thanks

Hello! We are looking at going from Barcelona to Amsterdam making two stops in France. We want to visit two cities which is not Paris and was wondering what your recommendations are? cheers!
Hello,First time user here, i’d like to know if Interrail pass for a Brest (France) to Berlin (Germany) 2 way trip would work ?We plan to go there around May 2022 and Interrail is cheaper than ordering directly from french rail company (SNCF).I guess i would take the 4 day 1 month pass.Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone! I’ll be a first-timer on trains in the spring, and have a few questions. I’m flying into Rome, am there for 3 nights, and then going up to the Cinque Terre for 4 nights, and then to Paris. I hope to stop in Florence for the day between Rome and 5T, and then again in Milan between 5T and Paris. I then plan to take 3 or 4 day trips from Paris. It seems to me from my research that the price of a 7-days within 1 month pass is similar (minorly more expensive) than buying tickets individually. My questions are these:Will the Eurail pass include getting directly into 5T? I’m staying in Riomaggiore. The day trips I plan to take from Paris include Giverney, Reims, Mont St Michel, and maybe one other smaller town/city/village (Colmar, Orleans, …. any recommendations?) Are these places included? Is there a special schedule we need to book from? I’ve been scouring train sites directly, as well as sites like Rome2Rio, and have an idea of what times I want to catch my trains at, but I
Hi all, Looking for advice on the following route, I will be starting in Krakow and finishing in Budapest.I have 2 weeks which will be flexible where I don’t plan to stall anywhere for more then two nights. I’ll travel to Budapest after Krakow then to Zagreb, I had hoped to go to either Slit or Dubrovnik but they seem to isolated from all major rail lines. I was hoping Belgrade next but the app doesn’t seem to be giving me any route from Zagreb. My question is what is the best direct route from Zagreb to Budapest, including a couple of stops along the way, Sofia would be my last stop before Budapest .!Any help would be greatly appreciated.! ✌️
Bonjour à tous, Hello Last September, I took my first, solo, Interrail Pass trip. It was an amazing experience. I met so many people, spoke in a few languages and got to see places I had only dreamed of.Trip stats4500 km travelled (train and plane) 2 planes - outbound and inbound 15 trains Lots of buses and metros in a few different countries Rode an electric scooter many times Walked 200km on foot Carried a 10kg backpack Drank many, many litres of coffee Slept an average of 3 hours per day - went to bed late and woke up early, because I wanted to discover and explore as much as possible. Didn't have a planWhich Interrail Pass?I had a 5 day Global Pass and my trip lasted for 12 days in total. Marseille, France Kasia in Paris Strassbourg, France AccommodationI didn't have any accommodation booked in advance. Each day at 2-3 hours before sunset I would search for a bed in a hostel (on Hostelworld or Booking.com), then

Just a few quick comments on my Eurail experience so far. My wife and I are finally in Europe from the USA and have traveled a few trains already. My observation thus far…absolutely no problems!! Finding the trains, adding to both trips and generating tickets has been very easy. I admit that I have yet to do a reservation, or high speed train but I’m hopeful that too will be as trouble free. However, if I do run into a snag I feel certain I can find a resolution here, or at least a pointer to where I can find help. We have 3 months to travel around Europe and so far we’re enjoying ourselves.
Hello! I will go to France, Paris, but I will comeback from Italy, Rome. Do you guys think I should visit Spain? How do you guys think I should do this?
Why am I not able to add certain stations to my itinerary using the Trip Planner> For example, I cannot add Tours, France as my next destination within y itinerary from Barcelona, Spain? The closest I can get is Le Mans?
Hi, I’m looking to travel with my three children from Greece to France via Montenegro rather than Italy, does anyone have and tips or advise? Thanks so much

I see that there are two trains with departure from gothenburg (sweden) to Madrid (spain) but on the way there are some trains where you have to buy a seat. Is it common? If i buy an interrail pass do i still have to buy seats in some of the trains?

Hi fellow travelers!Does anyone have tips for Croatia? We are going to Zagreb tomorrow and afterwards we would like to visit other beautiful cities that are easy to reach. We saw for example that taking the train to Pula will take 8 hours and you need to change at least twice, so we woukd prefer another city.Any tip is welcome!Ps: Split is already on our list
When I add my first destination to my eurail pass does it matter where I start my trip?
I need to make my first outbound journey from Greece, my country of residence, to Italy, Bari. I notice on the eurail map that a route from Patra, Greece to Bari is not mentioned. However there is a route marked from Igoumenitsa to Bari. Does this mean that my global pass will not cover me for a trip from Patra but it is valid for ferries from Igoumenitsa?
I’m a Greek resident. Can I travel from Patra to Bari, Italy by ferry for free with the global pass or do I have to go to Igoumenitsa to travel to Bari by ferry for free?

Are these “OUIGO” trains covered by the eurail pass? If so, How can I make a seat reservation and add to my pass?
Is there a way to say these are the cities I want to visit and this is the amount of time I have and then have Eurail spit out the best plan?
