My daughter and myself are planning a train travel journey around Europe from the start of January for one month. I would like to know:what is the weather is like at that time of the year  Is it easier to get around during this time of the year eg: due to snow or crowdsWe have only been to UK and France during the summer months but never been to Europe during this time of the year. A bit lost as to what we should do.  Thank you 

Hello everyone,I have used the Germann rail pass to go From Frankfurt to Brussels and back 2 weeks ago. Today, I wanted to use a travel day to go to Brussels again to visit family and I received the error that this country is not included in the pass, even though my the pass still shows my previous tracel days where Frankfurt-Brussels was possible.On the website, interrail still says Brussels is included in the German pass, so I am confused.

Hi there! I am in bit of a struggle and I would really appriciate your help. I now am in Vienna. I have to go to Cluj-Napoca Romania. There are no direct trains. And I cannot find anywhere, and internet site including interrail to make reservations for romania. They say I can go from vienna to budapest, then feom budapest to some city in romania like arad, then from there to cluj. But the problem is, yes i can make reservations for the trains departing from vienna and budapest but non for romania to romania and im freaking out. I dont want to pay full price tickets or buy a bus ticket while i have interrail. I also dont want to risk getting on a train that requires reservations and hoping to find an empty spot. Can you help me please :((

Hi everyone, It's my first travelling with Interrail and the Strike in Italy fell on one of my traveling dates. I have two seats booked. However as I see on trenItalia that option seems not available?I saw online on the TrenItalia website some kind of guarantee trains in the event of a strike? But those trains does not appear on the Rail Planner nor TrenItalia. Bonjour, Je souhaite prendre la compagnie european sleeper, mais je n’arrive pas à notifier que je possède le pass interail sur leur site. Par conséquence je n’ai pas les mêmes tarifs entre l’applications #discoverEU et leur site Web trouvé sur l’applications. Que dois-je faire ? Contrairement au train de nuit Berlin HBF -> malmö, ou il y a des tarifs spéciaux. Est ce que je dois essayer de réserver directement sur l’applications, même si c’est un train de nuit ? 

Nous partons en train en Roumanie avec mon équipe de compagnons des sgdf (scout guide de France).Pour ce faire nous avons acheté un pass interrail par personne sauf que une des personnes de notre équipe à gagner un pass interail via le programme discover eu de l’union européenne. Nous voulons donc savoir si il est possible d’échanger des réservations de places assises d’un pass à un autre.

in “how to use your pass” the website says that who’s travelling from an island, can obtain an airplane ticket to start the interrail from another country. well, how can i obtain that ticket?

Hello,It appears that I have won a Discover EU pass after I’ve checked on the portal with my application code (which I had received by email by the way), however, I have not received any email about the fact I have won. My friends though did get an email with a booking code to activate and all the next steps. I’ve checked and my email works perfectly fine, the email is not in the SPAM folder and I had previously received the email with confirmation of my application early in April.Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’d hate to miss out on this experience for a technical issue. July 2027 we travel to Enkhuizen – Stavoren for a bike trip around Friesland.  We plan to travel from Manchester to London.  From there via Eurostar to Amsterdam and then from Amsterdam to Enkhuizen.  Just wondering whether this feasible.

But with the RailPlanner app, I’m being charged very high shipping fees (around €10). Is it possible to avoid these fees? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have a question. I’m going on an Interrail trip for about two weeks, and most of the trains I’ll be taking require seat reservations. I was wondering whether it’s worth booking (as it can be quite expensive) or whether it’s possible to board a train without a reservation (even if it says that booking is compulsory)? Thanks in advance!

We are so confused! Our booking of the night train through Rail Europe as suggested but it seems we paid the full price? And they aren’t showing on the bookings on the interrail passes we purchased. What do we do? We are also trying to book our train in the UK through interrail but that says not available to book and is asking us to book through ACP rail (but how will that be on the trip in Interrail too?) The only reservations showing at the moment are the eurostar ones. can someone please explain this - it all seems very unclear and convoluted. Should we just cancel the interrail pass and buy tickets separately? Thank you.

I am going on my first trip with the Senior Interrail Global Pass (electronic) with 5 travel days, and I am a bit nervous about whether I have installed the pass correctly. What makes me especially nervous is that I cannot see any QR code for my tickets, but maybe they are only activated when I start the journey?I have planned my trip, and I can also find it when I click on "My trip." On the "My pass" page, there is a yellow bar with the text "Add a journey." When I click on it, I am taken to the "My trip" page.
