Soy nueva en Eurail, estoy realizando el plan de viaje pero tengo que eliminar un viaje y no me deja porque dice que debo eliminar primero a los viajeros, pero no deja hacerlo…
I am considering hiring an ebike in and around Colmar next month to explore the surrounding countryside as well the city. But my experience of being a pedestrian in France has not always been the best. How safe is cycling in France? Also as a bike is a vehicle, do you need to carry a breathiliser? Apologies if this question isn’t suitable for this forum
I would like to confirm my understanding that the Benelux Rail pass (already purchased) offers a ride on Eurocity Direct train from Brussels Midi to Amsterdam Zuid with no cost nor seat reservation. Is my understanding correct? Thanks.

Some of the most memorable travel moments happen in unexpected places, like a quirky museum tucked behind a bookshop, a café where the owner knows every guest by name, or a scenic trail you found by following a local’s tip. We’re building a community map to collect all those discoveries, and we’d love for you to be part of it.How to share your recommendations:📍 Drop a Pin – Fill out this form to share a spot you think others shouldn’t miss.📝 Tell the Story – Let us know what makes the place special: the vibe, a dish you loved, or a small moment that stuck with you.🎯 Choose a Category – Select from themes like Food & Drink, Outdoor Adventures, Culture & Museums, etc.📸 Add a Visual – A photo can bring your recommendation to life. It’s not required though. 📣 Invite Others – The more pins we collect, the more inspiring the map becomes for everyone. As a token of thanks, selected entries will earn the Travel Guide badge, which is part of our community rewards program and can be c

Hi, I’m going inter railing for 3 weeks for the first time in June. I am travelling through Spain, south of France and Italy. I’m undecided on whether to take a suitcase or buy a backpack. Everywhere I am staying is close to all the train stations so I won't be walking around with luggage for long. just wondering whether to save the cost of buying a backpack and taking a suitcase that Ive already got. Thankyou!
On the 17th of May we (my wife and I) from Venice to Napoli. By mistake I made seat reservations in the silent wagon. However it is nice to talk a bit to each other on such a long trip.Tried to correct this with Trenitalia customer service, tomnromal 1st claas, but found out that this is not easy.Questiion is double. Is silent very silent or is soft conversation allowed. In Holland itis a deathsin to make any noise. Can imagine that in Italy one is more easy.Or does someone know a fastlane for changing a seat booking? Thanks Haeije Manders
I want to use my Global Pass to travel from Paddington to Bristol Parkway. On the Eurail website I get “Not available from Eurail.com……Book online at www.acprail.com” When I go to ACPRail, i can’t use my pass, I have to purchase a ticket. Am I doing something wrong?
I am planning a 16 day trip this month to travel from Switzerland to Italy. Arriving in Zurich airport and going to Lucerne immediately. Will then travel to Grindewald for a few days before going to Zermatt. However, my next stop from Zermatt to Venice seems to be very more than 9 hours (based on the train schedule from SBB). I am planning to go to Rome after Venice before my final destination at Milan which is where I will fly back home.My questions are :(a) Should I buy Swiss Travel pass to travel within Switzerland? What pass should I buy since there are 2 countries i am travelling (b) Is there a faster train ride to travel from Zermatt to Venice? Based on what SBB provides, it is a very long ride with the need to make 5 train changes so I am hoping to find a shorter train ride. (c) Could I obtain advice which route requires seat reservations and should I purchase 1st or 2nd class seats? Thanking in advance.
I am aiming to go interrailing next year in 2026, however am very prepared and like to have a look at various route options, and to accustom myself to the process I will have to go through when eventually booking my trip. I looked up the routes I want to go on during my trip with my partner, and also had a look at some of the seat reservation options for 2025 in May (which is when we want to travel next year). I see that you can book seats up to 90 days in advance, but found EVERY date within 90 days in the future completely booked up! 90 days from today is specifically the 7th of July 2025, and even those tickets were completely sold out. How do I avoid this or ensure that I can reserve a space on the more popular routes? I did check at 11am, should I be checking at midnight or early hours of the morning? The route I am talking about specifically is Avignon to Barcelona.

Hello!I’m trying to book seat reservations on trains between Maribor and Chioggia on 12 July, but am wondering if they’re not yet available? Can anyone please confirm? Also, a while back (actually quite a few years ago) I took a train from Ljubljana to Venice, but I’m not sure such a train is still running? The suggested routes seem to be to head north to Austria before heading down to Venice and then Chioggia. Is it no longer possible to take the train from Ljubljana to Venice via Trieste? Thanks for your help in advance - it’s hugely appreciated!Mel
Sorry if this is a silly question but I’m new to this and finding it harder than I thought!I want to book my trip but trains don’t appear when I try to add the journey for example trains from Helsinki to Kemi and Narvik to Stockholm at the start of July. Why is that? and what should i do?Thanks for any help

Hi, we’ve got 4 nights in Florence early July 2025 and looking at taking a day-trip over to Pisa one day and possibly across to Venice on another day. Can we use our Eurail pass on these trains please?I’ve checked the timetable and it seems like there’s plenty of trains departing Florence to Pisa, looking at the 08.28am train. Seems I’m unable to make seat reservations however. Do we simply board the train and show our Global Pass or I assume we need to validate a ticket somewhere?
Hello folks,I’m wondering if I book a reservation for GWR in UK (return trip from London to Oxford), would that use one day of my Global Eurail Pass (Flexi pass)? I have already planned out all travel days for my pass and I won’t be able to use the pass if GWR requires one. Thanks.
Hey! I’m Rene from Estonia. I'm 18, and I’ll be using my DiscoverEU pass to travel around Europe this summer—starting in Paris (June 6–10) and making my way through France, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, and Italy before heading home in early July.I’m up for anything—exploring cities, chilling on a beach, trying weird local food, last-minute plan changes, doing sports, partying, or just going with the flow. It would be awesome to find someone to travel with for part of or even the whole trip!If you’re on a similar route and wanna team up or have ideas, hit me up!I speak English, a little Russian, and a tiny bit of French.IG: rene_reineberg
Timetables for Stena Line and Tallink Silja ferries have been added to the Rail Planner App. This update supports better planning for routes involving ferry travel in Northern Europe, including connections across the Baltic Sea and between key destinations in Scandinavia. Ensure your app is up to date to access the latest schedules and departure information. 🙌 Please note that ferries are not included in the pass but are benefit partners. You can find out more about our ferry partners, here. What timetable improvements do you want to see next?
I have traveled with Eurail for five summers but always individually. This coming summer I will be traveling with a friend. We would like to make our reservations so that we can be seated together. I have had a long email dialogue with Eurail Customer Support be I still don’t see exactly how it works when using the app. At the website we can join both of our passes to one trip. In the app it creates a Copy Trip. It doesn’t seem like the original Trip (my pass) and the Copy Trip (my friend’s pass) are linked in any way that making reservations will assign us adjoining seats. Can someone give me a better explanation than Eurail Support?Do we need to always make reservations through the website? If we are linked in the same Trip on the website does it effect our passes in the app?
I’m planning to travel by the from Munich to Vienna (see picture ).should I reserve a seat in advance for this route ?
Greenland is officially joining the Eurail/Interrail Pass network! We’re thrilled to bring Europe closer together, letting you explore Greenland's majestic glaciers, midnight sun and breathtaking northern lights—all accessible with your Eurail/Interrail pass. What should we add to our pass next?
Hello, I’m wanting to travel via night train from Prague to Zurich and back, but my home country is Germany which the train travels through. I understand that this would be impossible as each journey would count as both an inbound and outbound day due it passing through Germany. However, could I work around the issue by purchasing point to point tickets for the journey from Prague to the German border and the same in reverse and then adding the journey to the app simply from the first stop over the border (Bad Schandau - DE) so that the way out would count as my outbound journey and the return my inbound? The other issue that could complicate matters is that I would need to make a couchette reservation and this would be for the full journey at the Interrail pass rate. Would this be a problem if the journey was split this way? Thanks for any advice!
