1/Can anyone tell me when TGV tickets in France will be released for travel on 14 May? 2/ if i am making the UK leg of my outward and return journeys on trains that state no reservation required, how do i go about putting it on my global pass?Thanks 

I am trying to buy a ticket on a specific train that a friend of mine already has a ticket for. I want to travel from London to Paris on May 10, leaving at 16:31. I know the train number is 9040, but I am not sure which station in London is the one I need. (Her ticket says “Eurostar Plus”.) I’m trying to book this on the Eurail website, not Eurostar, which saves a lot of money. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hola!Este verano quiero hacer mi primer interrail. Voy a comprar el pase de 7 días viajando y la duración será de 22 días. Lo empezaría en San Sebastián y i primera parada quiero que sea Berlin. Se que hay un buen tramo pero es lo que quiero hacer. Después me gustaría ir a Krakovia y de ahí a Budapest. ¿Qué me recomendáis después? me gustaria ver Europa central, esto es, quiero leer vuestras recomendaciones de sitios que os han gustado ya sea por la diversidad cultura, paisajes, comida, seguridad, amabilidad….  Quiero evitar Praga y Viena ya que los he visitado anteriormente. Por otro lado, si el viaje lo empiezo en San Sebastian el 1 de julio, llego a Paris el 1 de julio y salgo de Paris el 1 de julio pero llego a Berlin el 2 de julio me cuenta como dos días e viaje? Gracias!!!!

Due to illness I had to cancel my reservation (today) for the Superfastferry Bari - Patras.The only way to do so is via emal: Online bookings can only be cancelled by email to helpdesk@attica-group.com .I mailed them several times, without any reply. Does anyone have any experience on this topic? I might face a problem when I try to book a new trip.

Hi Eurail community,Thanks again for all being so helpful !We are nearly ready to purchase a pass and want to make the right selection.We are thinking a 10 day pass and then individual passes for the remaining days.Our plan looks like this :Fly from australia and start Munich > Winterthurr > Wengen > St Gallen > Salzburg > Frankfurt > Dusseldorf > Zandvort > Colonge > Hausach > Munich fly back We worked out cause we are staying at some places longer that we would need a total of 10 trains trips between all destinations. We understand some of these may need reservations so hope to book these if needed AFTER getting the 10 day pass.Any suggestions or tips would be awesome.Thanks again eurail community for being so helpful ! Marty and Verity ( from brisbane , Australia )

Hola buenos días a todos… Quisiera tener claridad en el uso del Eurail Pass global,Ya tengo organizado mi viaje para el mes de Abril a Europa con las fechas ya determinadas, pero ingreso a la app Raíl Planner para reservar sillas  y me genera un QR.  Pero no encuentro el lugar para pagar las reservas.  Esa reserva de QR de la App Rail planner es válida y se paga la reserva el día del viaje ?Muchas gracias a todos…

Apparently, Eurail may not be offering high speed train service as part of their Global Pass. Is there an easy way to select overnight trains? Greetings!I am unable to find the euro rail schedule to plan a trip to Europe beginning in London.  Here is our itinerary:July 2 Fly to LondonJuly 2 take train to ParisJuly 7 take train to RomeJuly 10 take train to VeniceJuly 12 take train to BarcelonaJuly 2 take train to MadridFly home from MadridI’ve tried the planner which recommends 7 travel day Global Pass good for 1 month. However, it does not give train schedule to plan the 10 days I have for the tripThis is our first visit to France, Italy and Spain and have no idea what to plan. HELLO!  I have a question regarding the use of the passes at night.  Ex: I want to go from Amsterdam to Prague. train1: Amsterdam (06:00pm) - Germany (5:00am)train 2: Germany (6:00am) - Prague (11:00am) Am i using 2 days passes even if I got the connexion in advance?  Or is it just 1 day pass because I have got a connexion? Hope Iv explained myself clearly. Thanks a lot!

I hope this isn’t a frequent question; I have had a search. 🤞🏻I have the Rail Planner app on my iPhone (and have deleted and reloaded it just in case).  When I’m in the Planner selecting journeys for my upcoming trip I select a train time and then click on the slot to go through to the details screen (screenshot) with a view to booking seats and, at that point, the timing of the train at the top (dark blue background) is correctly showing what I’ve selected, but the train time (against why background just below) is displaying ONE HOUR earlier.I have checked that my iphone is set to ‘automatic time’ in settings.  Nothing like this happened at any point last year when I was planning and then away travelling for 2 weeks.  I’ve also asked my travel friend to check her app (we both have iphone 15s) and it is NOT happening to her, so I presume the problem is centered around my iphone.  Has anyone met this problem or have an idea why it might be happening please?  thank you in advance.

On the eurail app it states that passholders get 10% discount on all get your guide bookings.This is not the case.only your first booking. Now I wonder what else is false and misleading on the Eurail app

I have a plan to travel to Sweden, Denmark, Norway in April, with 14 days.  lands at Stockholm (start) and back to Thailand at Oslo (end). I would like fellow members to recommend a travel route and interesting places to visit using the Eurail pass Scandinavian. Not too rushed. Please help.😊

Hello!  Me and my friends are first time interrail travelers and we just started to plan our trip for June 2025! We’re super excited! :)  We want to go to South of France, especially Cote D’Azur, and Switzerland. We’re thinking on buying the 15 days global pass. However, we have some doubts on:what’s the best way to go from Monaco to Switzerland? do you have any interrail rote template on Cote D’Azur? are we loosing a lot by not going to Italy? Would you rather go to Italy instead of Switzerland?   thank you so much for your help! 

Planning my first big trip!I want to fly into Sofia on July 22nd then visit Veliko Tarnova before leaving the country (ideally to Brazov) I know there are repair works but it seems almost impossible to get out of the country!Is there any quick way e.g. in 10/12 hours to get into Romania? or do I just have to skip Bulgaria which would be a great pity

Bonjour, Nous souhaiterions faire cet été Bordeaux-Stocklom en train via Berlin.Pour les tarifs, Paris-Berlin avec ou sans carte Interrail j'ai pu faire des simulations, et la différence n'est pas flagrante. Mais, pour le train Berlin-Stocklom, c'est moins clair, mais j'ai l'impression que le pass serait intéressant 😅. Seulement mon mari prendrait 1 carte adulte interrail, et ma fille de 10 ans en aurait 1 de gratuite (profitons !!). Notre fils (16 ans) et moi, nous n'en prendrions pas. Si j'ai bien compris, il pourrait avoir 1 cabine privé à 347€. Lors de la réservation, comment cela se passe-t-il ? Il ajoute nos noms à sa réservation ? Ou faut-il que tous les passagers aient 1 carte Interrail ? Je ne risque pas d'avoir une mauvaise surprise lors de la réservation ?Je vous remercie pour votre réponse et votre aide.Julie

Hallo, lch versuche für die Strecke Barcelona nach Granada mit AVE über Rail Europe Sitzplätze zu reservieren (Interrail Global Pass)?Aber in der App kommt der Hinweis nur an Bahnhof möglich? Danke  Peter  

I am very frustrated that Interrail does not cover many small railways in Italy despite comparable prices to other big countries. And I do not think Interrail is very clear about this. My question is this. Several small railways have been taken over by Trenitalia - the latest is Sistemi Territoriali from Venice. Others include FSE which covers the WHOLE of the Italy boot and FCU in Umbria. As Trenitalia is now the operator, does Interrail now cover these lines. If IR is not valid, why not ? David Haydock  

There are no connections shown in the timetables of major train companys (Interrail railplanner, OBB, DB) from Verona to Gorizia Centrale in July. It only shows a connection trough Villach, which is not really logical (and veeery long). The logical route is in the timetables of June. Does anyone know if the timetable is still incomplete for coming summer? Of is something happing with railworks in July around Gorizia Centrale?
