Hi. It still doesn’t appear to be possible to book seat reservations on the Narvik to Stockholm service. Have spoken to info office at Oslo and Bergen and they still have no clue when bookings will be possible. Does anyone have any further info they can provide. Bit worried there will be a stampede for bookings when available. We are hoping to travel from Narvik to Umea on Sunday 6th July. Any update would be much appreciated . Thanks
HelloLike many people, I'm trying to book the Stockholm -> Narvik in August. The train can be booked on the VY website but without the interrail option :( I'm trying to call them but despite long waits I can't get through to anyone... Has anyone managed? Do you know if the internet booking system will work soon? I was wondering if I should go through a travel agency to get help?Thank you for your helpKarine
hello all We are flying into FCO from Toronto in September and supposed to land at 1215hrs. We plan to travel onward to Florence the same day. We have Eurail Global Pass, 1st class.I see there is 1 train from FCO to Florence Santa Marai Novella leaving at 1353hrs. Not sure that we will be able to make that train. flight delay, customs, baggage. So we can take the Leonardo Express to Rome Termini. And then from Rome Termini to Florence. if I book FCO to Florence, there is only 15-minute change time. That makes me nervous, so I would like to book separately trains from FCO to Rome and then Rome to Florence. Never booked 2 separate trains on 1 day, so I am looking for assistance. i know that it should still be considered 1 travel day.

Should I take a 4 or 5 days global pass ?Thanks for your answers.
Is it required to reserve boat from salerno to positano in italy this August or is it pay as you go? Do they get filled fast? Thanks.
Hello! I would like to buy tickets for the direct train from Florence to Vienna at night, but the page tells me ticket not available for the date I must travel, which is September 15. What other direct travel options or with few combinations will there be that are at night? Does anyone else have this problem? I would be very grateful if anyone could give me some guidance.

I plan to travel by rail this summer through Germany and Switzerland with my family. Originally, I liked the Eurail Global pass because i thought I could be flexible on which train to take as each day presented itself rather than purchase specific routes ahead of time. However now I am learning that a seat reservation should be purchased because of possible crowded conditions with tourists and such. I also learned that you must purchase seat reservations 24 hours prior. If this is correct, then I am back to specific routes and times with no flexibility. What advantage is a Eurail Global pass if you have to buy seat reservations the day prior? It seems like I should just buy specific tickets which is a bit cheaper. What am I missing…thanks.
Hello,I am trying to book a train for Italy Naples to Pompei in July and it says I need a seat reservation. There is no button to press to make the seat reservation. I can’t find out what company/train/website I need to find to make the seat reservation. I have attached an image of the train I would like to book at the beginning of July. I have tried through the app and through the website. I’m so clueless, I really do not understand how this is supposed to seem easy.
Hi, I have just been entering my first travel day on interail planner and worried as my ticket to get from London St Pancras to Brussels midi is 9.01 am Sat 20th July. Arriving 12.05pm. I’m hoping to catch the 12.25 train to Koln. This arrives 14.15. Then 14.53 to Munchen, then 20.50 to Salzburg, arriving 22.42.When I put it into the planner it tells me that I get into Brussels at 12.13 ( not 12.05). If I don’t have enough time to get 12.25, then I looked at 1.25 from Koln to Munchen, but it says on site I need to reserve this train at 29 euros. The next train is 15.46, gets to Munchen 21.13, I would then have to get 21.43 to Salzburg getting in at 23.37. Sorry it’s so long, but my questions are, is the time on my ticket correct to get into Brussels on Eurostar at 12.05? Or is 12.13 as on interail site correct? Would I have enough time to get 12.25 train to Koln?If not, should I reserve the 1.25 train from Brussels to Koln at 29 euros? 3 of us travelling! Lastly, if all goes really wro
Hi,I have a 4 day pass. One of these days is used for the outbound and then 2 days travelling outside my home country. Can I use the last day to only travel inside my home country (so leave from a city that’s in my home country and only take trains inside my home country)? Thanks in advance,Elise
I have some work in Kongsburg (near Oslo) on 4th July. I’d like to do all the travel by train. I have a family in Utrecht (en route nearly). So this would require leaving home in Welwyn Garden on 2nd July, staying with family in Utrecht and then on 3rd doing the Utrecht to Kongburg larger 2nd half of the journey. Returning on 5th with hopefully everything in reverse. Would buying some kind of pass enable a fare reduction ?
If I have entered a longer journey with several changes in the mobile app: One of the trains is late and I cannot catch the following trains. Do I then have to put together a new trip or can I take other trains (no reservations) with the notice of the delay without having to re-enter everything?Or, optionally, can I immediately insert several trains as a ticket whose times overlap?
Hello Interrailers,I have planned to visit Paris by the end of this week or the subsequent week for a few days and wanted to know if there is somebody also visiting Paris at this time? What I want to do / see beside the city‘s highlights I will plan shortly before moving to Paris. It would be nice to have a good company or simply spending some interesting time together - in visiting places, having a drink or good conversations.Looking forward to hear from you :). Regards,Freddy
We're excited to share an update to our Pass benefits. Starting June 1st, travellers in Switzerland no longer need to activate a travel day to use additional benefits or discounted products with the Pass. For an overview of all railway lines included in our Pass and Pass benefits in Switzerland, please visit this link. Tip: If a railway line or product is not part of our network but offers a discount, you will need an active pass, but not an activated travel day. However, if the railway line is included in our network, both an active pass and an activated travel day are required. For inspiration, hop over to our magazine and read the article "Chase Adventure: Switzerland by Train - Interlaken to the Jungfrau Region." We are currently experiencing an issue with our timetable in the Jungfrau region. The stretch from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, which is included in the Pass, is incorrectly showing as not included. Please rest assured that it is included, and we are working on fixing our time
Worrying so much with horror stories of app, I’m greatly considering changing to paper ticket for trip in July with teenage daughters. I’m finding it all very confusing.Thoughts on changing please? many thanks , Melanie

I’m taking the Ankara-Kars train in July, then heading to Tblisi. Are there currently buses running from Kars to Tblisi direct, or do I have to go north via Batumi?
I’ve written a couple of times to them over the years and I’ve never actually had a response. Once trying to claim a delay repayment and once recently about a booking query. Neither time did I actually get anything back. Same with DB. Do they exist, can you get a response? Do they just ignore English!?I don’t think much of the train companies in the UK, but one thing we do have is delay repay which does work really well.
Hello, As suggested by experts, for Caledonian sleeper journey from Edinburgh to London Euston, we have to add the journey manually with time as 00.40 CET, But I don't see any option to add manually now. Also, I can see 2 trains journey by Rail planner starting at 23.40, which one to add and how to add? Are both Caledonian sleeper?1) Edinburgh (23.40) -->(00.11) Carstairs (00.20) -->(6.40)Watford (6.53)-->(7.09)London Euston2.)Edinburgh (23.40) -->(00.11) Carstairs (00.20) -->(7.15)London Euston And below screenshot showing no option to add manually, add to journey redirects to planner page.TIA
