Hey everyone, Hopes everyone is doing well.Me and my friends are looking to book our seat reservations for our trip in July. But, what a surprise, when after the second destinations we saw that we can’t book any Trains for the rest of our trip.Reason : “Tarifs unavailableThe search for fares did not yield any results. The places reserved for Pass holders are probably exhausted. You will find other options at the bottom of our schedules.”We tried to book last week and it told us that we had to wait 90 days to get the seats available and now, 7 days later, it’s impossible to book them. Kind of strange when we try to book 2 ½ months before the trip. Like Interrail said multiple times on their website, 2 months before the trip is ok to have all of your seats. Do you guys have the same problem ? Any helps appreciated. Thanks travellers!Regards. Greg

As I said in the title I am a french citizen (also American citizen) but I live in the US can I buy interrail or do I have to opt for eurail?

I am not seeing direct trains from venice to milan on aug 4th evening and milan to interlaken ost on aug 7th morning. Please help. I have global pass. Looked in rail Europe.

Hi, I have 3 days left to my global pass.Tomorrow April 30th, I will be traveling Venice - Rome, May 1st Rome - Milan (on the way I will stop at Florence, Verona),May 2nd Milan - Zurich (via Tirano, Chur Bernia Express)May 4th Zurich - Paris (I already reserved the seats)  so in theory I have 4 days of travel left with 3 days of the pass. All Italy rides needs a seat reservation per Eurail.. So would it be better just to get the Venice - Rome separately without using the global pass? Or what other option would you suggest? 

I have booked from Paris to Frankfurt on the Ice 10.52am from Paris Est on May 30th. We now have the opportunity to meet some French friends so want to push the time back. I went in to my DB portal to change the time to 13.51pm on TVG and got the message below. Hi, We are a family of 3 wanting to travel on LNER Leeds to London in August, but seat reservations on LNER website and ACP Rail are all showing as ‘not available’. Am I too late? (or too early?!)  Do I NEED a reservation on LNER trains or can we just get on with our pass? Thanks :-) 

Good afternoon Canada time   my wife and i have a 1st class global pass  I have some questions regarding seat reservationswe are travelling to Florence from Rome Termini in September ., then onward to Agropoli, Parghelia and back to Rome.If I check Rail Europe for seat reservations, I am given a price of $66.00CAD. If I book one way tickets to Florence from Rome, i have a price of $!30.00CAD total plus $2.95 per person for seat selection.if I try to book seat reservations with Italia Rail the cost is 13,00euros per person. But it will not accept my old school pass number. I need help thank you

The booking system of the Hungarian Railways (MAV) is driving me crazy. Does anyone have any idea how to fill in the “floor/door” field correctly? I've tried every conceivable variant in German (Erdgeschoss), English (first floor) and even Hungarian (1. emelet) with upper and lower case - without success. Each time the following error message appears: “The floor / door field value must be entered in door / floor format.” If you leave the field blank, you will not get any further. And after a while you have to start the booking process all over again. Any advice appreciated!!! 

Hi, I need to make reservations for these below 2 rides. But I am not traveling with my laptop. How can I book them over the phone? One of them is tomorrow. Please guide me.  

The train timetables on Interrail.eu do not match the SNCF timetables.  We have made reservations on the Interrail site for 5 SNCF journeys.  In all 5 cases the time given on the reservation ticket is one hour later than the time on the actual SNCF timetable even though the train number is the same.  If we turn up at the correct time (i.e. one hour earlier than it says on the ticket) will our reservation be valid? Has anyone else had this problem

We are planning on traveling from Nice to London however there a part of the travel that requires transfer by public transportation from Paris Gare De Lyon with allotted time of 1 hr 10 minutes to Paris Nord  what does that mean and what do we need to do? Is that public transportation included in our fare? Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks a ton for the help In advance! 

iI’m planning an interrailing trip for summer (July & August) 2024. I was just wondering whether I should book all my hostels before going or just wait and see or will this be expensive/booked up? What if I decide to leave a place a day earlier than planned and then that messes all the hostel reservations up or is this not possible? And should I just book my flight home whilst I’m there in case I add places onto the end or will it be really expensive?

Following an advice in another topic I started to look for my route from Timosoara (Romania) to Sofia (Bulgaria) on 22 July. But the website of Bulgarian Railways BDZ gives no trains crossing the border at Vidin nor at Ruse. I tried all small stations in between, also Sofia Sever, hoping I could get on a bus from there, but to no avail. To be clear: I checked the time tables for domestic trains, not the ticketing part, because I know tickets can be bought starting 2 months before the travel date. The time tables gives options upto 8 June, so just 6 weeks in advance, after that ‘no trains found'. Am I too impatient?Yes, I know there are repairworks ongoing (there's an article about it on this website: https://eurail.zendesk.com/hc/en-001/articles/18362820269469-Construction-works-at-Sofia-Central-Bulgaria-till-Aug-2025 ), but when I check on the BDZ website for international travel, they do give time tables from Bucharest (border Ruse) and Craiova (border Vidin). Probably I'm looking at

I'll be travelling for a little over a month (33 days) from Rotterdam to Varna (Bulgaria), with many stops in between. From Budapest onwards, the app shows there are only 2nd class seats, so buying a 1st class pass doesn't seem useful. But from home to Budapest there are 1st class seats, and I'd like to use them. Is it possible to buy a 2nd class Global Pass with supplements for 1st from Rotterdam to Budapest with a stopover of 2 nights in Gyor? 

Hi, we are a family of four (2 adults, and 2 eleven year old kids). We have Eurail 2nd class passes. We are staying in Hillegom, Netherlands and then want to go to London on August 14th.  I know Rotterdam is on the route so I have looked at Hillegom to Rotterdam and then Rotterdam to London. I have also looked at Amsterdam as a departing station as well.  I see that Eurostar stops doing direct Amsterdam-London routes in mid-June. Is this typical? It looks like everyting goes through Brussels with a 1 hr 15 min to 2 hr 15 min changeover. Given that we already have to change trains twice to go from Hillegom to Rotterdam, I was trying to avoid the number of train changeovers (and cost of 2 separate reservations).  Any suggestions? I’m surprised that they would stop offering direct routes in the summer when more people travel.  Thank you.

I bought my pass a few hours ago but the confirmation email has not arrived yet and there is no order in the overview but the pass is already charged, what can I do? I have contacted support.

Hi, ive just booked a private sleeper compartment for me (female) and my son, however I have realised that I have booked first class but have 2nd class pass!the option of 2nd class private sleeper didn't have a discount for interrail so was more expensive - why is that?the cheapest option has gendered carriages, so i assume if I booked for me and my son we would we end up in separate ones.Annoying that its going to cost me so much more to go 2nd class than 1st!

The exact same seat reservation is €6 on OBB website and $60 on EuroRail. How is this legal and possible? Seems like they are ripping off foreigners. How can I file a complaint with local government and train agencies ?
