HiI have tried twice today on both safari and chrome to make seat reservations and each time I get just before payment I get an error message starting something went wrong. Is anyone else getting this and any solutions? Is it just a weekend bug? Thanks Mark
Hello, I’d like to buy a pass reservation for a TGV train from Paris to Forbach. Unfortunately, for our train SNCF claims that all seats are booked. Strange to say that for the same train it’s possible to book seats from Paris to Saarbrücken, but not for the shorter trip to Forbach. However, this would change our trip to be an international trip and to consume a home country day of our pass in germany which we don’t have available. Would it work to get a pass reservation to Saarbrücken and use our pass only for the way to Forbach, so no home country day would be used? It’s even bad enough that reservation fee goes up from 10€ to 18€ due to this-
Hi everyone! My friend and I have the 10 day Eurail pass and are looking for the best way to get from Rome to Athens the end of May. We are willing to make stops in some cool places and have 4 days to spare! Thank you so much for any advice!
Hi,I try to book a seat reservation from Homburg HBF (Saar) to Vienna HBF for the 20 June, but there is no 1st Class seat reservation shown for ICE 563 Homburg-Munich, but 1st and 2nd class reservation on the Munich to Vienna leg.Could it be that the Homburg to Munich ICE has only second Class and no first class, or is first class already booked out. When I go to www.raileurope.com, it only shows no seat reservation required but I am unable to book a seat reservation. Is there a website which shows the trains aND WHAT CLASSES THEY HAVE?Regards,Horst
The question is in the title.
Hi I’m planning my Interrail trip around Europe and I want to travel from Milan to St Moritz via Tirano and take the Bernina Express…. Has anyone in the community done this route before and could they give me some good advice on how to plan it? Thank you in advance for all your help.Regards Greeny
Hi all! A small group of friends and I are gearing up for a trip to the Picos de Europa in Spain this May. Our 15-day journey will take us through the Alps, possibly including the Pyrenees based on recommendations. Our focus will be on activities like bouldering, scrambling, via ferrata, and hiking. Starting from the Lake District, our first stop will be Fontainebleau for some bouldering. Another stop is Magic Wood, also known for bouldering, (we will get the train to Chur and then link with public transport). As we’re still in the planning stage, we're open to suggestions on how to seamlessly connect our destinations via trains and local public transport. Quality over quantity is our priority but any recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
Just looked at some Hostels and a bed in a 6-8 person dorm costs around 60-80€ per Person and night in most cities. Does anybody has the same experience and how can i save some €? sure prices will never get back to 20€ a night for a Hostel Bed but 80€ is somehow a lot😅
Is it possible to use our EURAIL Global Pass for the train Annecy - Lyon - Tournon (Tain l’Hermitage)?
Hello, I’m trying to get a nightjet from Vienna to Venice overnight (24 to 25 of July). The Eurail timetable says “Reservation fees vary based on demand” and seat reservations required but doesn’t give me an option to reserve it. The OBB nightjet website says no offers available and the general OBB website says ticket unavailable. Does this mean it’s already sold out? Really didn’t think it could possibly sell out so early out but I guess it is a popular time. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Community. We are Eurail 1st Global Pass holders and seniors. We are travelling from Zurich and would like to travel by night train to Prague. I have read on the Community page that the night train will not run from late June. The message we receive for the 22 enquiry is :There are no direct night train connections for the selected route on your desired travel date. I have looked at alternative dates and get the same response. Ideally we would like to take the 50467 sleeper train departing at 20:40. There are no options available. Are we doing something wrong? Or is this connection no longer running? I have contacted OBB but have not yet received a response. Once again, thank you in advance for your input.
Hi, I am looking at a journey from Salzburg to Bad Goisern in July. It gives me different times on DB app and OBB app. Maybe it’s a little too far in advance, but which would be the best app to confirm times closer to tne time? Many thanks

Hi all,Planning a trip from Finland to southern France and back next October as a family of 4. I got the impression that separate train tickets bought well in advance might end up being cheaper than the global pass. But interrailing last summer to Italy and back we found that quite a few of the trains that we took were delayed. My question now is, what happens if we have bought separate tickets and one or more of our trains are delayed so that we won't be able to make the next connection? I understand that the global pass is considered a through ticket so we would be booked for the next available train, but if we have separate tickets do we need to buy new ones ourselves? Any other thoughts on the matter are also welcome 😊
