Hi!So, i am planning to travel from Budapest (Keleti) › Bucharest (Nord) via Szonol, train NT473 and i am trying to book a seat reservation for a double sleeper for me and my wife. It happens that it allows me to book on my own, but once i add a traveler, it only shows me the 2nd class ticket reservation.I tried to book on OBB website, but it says tickets are not available. Does this have to do with the 30/60 days booking availability window?This is kind of confusing so a little help would make a difference.Thanks!Joel Ventura

I would love suggestions on the most scenic routes at affordable prices. Which trains should we take for the best experience? Hi! I already bought an Interrail ticket and now want to reserve train seats. My trip is planned for August. When i try to reserve seats for example from Bergen to Oslo or from Trondheim to Bodo, „no results are found“. I already called the Entur callcenter, but they said i can i can book in may at earliest?! Every „norway train trip“ website told me to reserve as soon as possible… is there another way to reserve or did i do something wrong? Thank you for your answers:) 

Folgende Situation: Mein Mann wird für uns Beide die Stationtickets auf seinem Handy haben. Die Antwort auf die FAQ-Frage: “Was wäre, wenn jemand anderes mein Spielticket für mich gekauft hätte?” = Sie können entweder gemeinsam reisen oder sie übertragen ihr Spielticket auf Sie. … Verstehe ich leider nicht.Heißt “Sie können gemeinsam reisen”, dass Jeder einen eigenen Interrail Pass EURO 2024 auf seinem eigenen Handy haben kann, und er dann einfach die Stadiontickets vorzeigt, die für uns beide gelten? 

I have booked a camping in Mataró, which is about an hour away from the city center of Barcelona. The best way to get there is by Rodalies de Catalunya, which I figure is sort of a regional train. However, on the Interrail-website, I can't find connections. Therefore, I am wondering if Interrail is valid on these trains or that I need to buy seperate tickets.

However, when I try add all the connections in my Eurail app, I only find the ones from Valencia up to Marseille, but from Marseille to Nice, from Nice to Monte Carlo and the rest of the stops in this route seems not to be connected. Why is that? I also have one more question about the seat reservation prices. I will be travelling with my 11 years old son. Eurail pass is free of charge for him, but I see that for most of the trains in this route seat reservations will be required. I purchased an Interrail flexible 5-day ticket. Among them, I have a question about 1 day.I live in France and I booked a train ticket from Vienna, Austria to Paris via Frankfurt, Germany.I would like to cancel or change this reservation.Because I want to go from Vienna, Austria to Salzburg, Austria.I would like to reserve a train ticket from Salzburg to Paris later.Is it possible to change, refund, or modify it?

Trip is in April and May - two months. Going to purchase 10 day 2 month Global Pass. What is the soonest date we can purchase the Global Pass to start making reservations for train trips starting in April?   Can we purchase reservations today for trips in April & May with the Global 10 day 2 month Pass.  Thanks Joan

We found the pass included R-net in Netherlands.The Netherlands Metro is under R-net company.Can we use the pass to take Metro when we are in Netherlands?Thanks

Normally an ic train runs from Lille Flandres to Kortrijk. But when I look on different site I do not find it for Sunday 12 May, the Sunday before and after the trains are just online. I wonder if there is an error in system, or there are just no IC trains that Sunday? Where could I find this info back? Thanks in advancedTania

Hi, I’m trying to get seat reservations from Lille Europe direct to Avignon on TGV #9830 for 17 May (bypassing Paris) but whichever site (Rail Europe/SNCF/SNCB) I try to book on, it shows the full price tickets without the Eurail Pass discount. Eurail Planner does not have this direct option and only offers routes with a change at Paris (Nord-Gare Lyon) which I’m trying to avoid as I’m travelling with children.Have all the Pass Holder seats been filled up? I’ve been checking this route regularly since Dec 2023 but of course tickets are not open for sale yet, and now they are available but without the pass dicount 🤔Hoping to hear some expert advice from the pros 💪🏻Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m planning to take two night trains. First from Amsterdam to Vienna and then to Split. My travelbuddies don’t have an interrailpass. It is cheaper to just book the tickets for the nighttrains then taking an interrailpass. Is there any way that I can book the tickets with them or do I need to book separatly? Who can help me? 🤞

Hi community, we are plannig our interrail trip to sweden and norway. We are starting our journey in Mannheim Hbf to Hamburg Hbf on 22th of February and taking the night train from Hamburg Hbf to Stockholm Center at 22:03 on the 22th February. Similar way for the return. Night train from Malmo C (10.03.2024 23:41) to Berlin Hbf (11.03.2024 9:25) and  from Berlin Hbf (11.03.2024 11:26) to Mannheim Hbf (11.03.2024 16:27). We have the problem that there 4  free travel days left and interrail doesnt allow the journey from Berlin Hbf to Mannheim Hbf with the Interrail global pass. Does anyone have an idea how we can solve this issue, without paying extra for the train from Berlin to Mannheim?Best Regrads and thanks a million for your help!Carolin 

Hi all, I am planning a 12 day Switzerland and Italy trip in March with my husband and kid with 7 days in Switzerland and 4 in Italy. Our last destination in Switzerland will be Zermatt and from there we will be heading to Lake Como in Italy followed by Rome. I need suggestions on what is the best way to travel to Lake Como from Zermatt? Should I board a train to Zurich first and then take the Como train or is there any better alternative route which I can follow. Also need suggestions on whether should I opt for  Swiss Travel pass or Euro rail pass for the entire journey? Please advise.

My teen is traveling solo on a global flex pass.  When they add a journey to the pass, it generates a QR code. But then it disappears.  They have to keep adding the same journey to get a new QR code.  They are currently on a train in Switzerland, on their way to France, and the QR code has disappeared mid-journey.  They have had to re-add the journey 3 times today. It’s on an apple phone, if that matters. Do you know what the problem is or any fix? Thank you so much!

OK. From what I remember, while the trains are fast and efficient in Europe, it is very difficult to navigate them with baggage, especially if there are numerous changes.At Bayreuth, I will need dress clothing so will most likely require more than one bag.  My next stop would be St Moritz, which involves four(!) changes on the journey.I’m thinking rail is not the best way to navigate this journey.  Even Frankfurt or other major city might be difficult but on a direct train manageable.

Is there any issues purchasing Eurail Pass if discounted from an online site?Can you advise please as the price difference is noticeable? Thank you. 

I purchased the two month travel pass during the Black Friday sale. The condition of the pass was that I activate it by the 1st of June. Does this mean I have to take a train journey by the first of June or just activate the pass in the mobile app? Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello. My wife and our two children are planning our first interrail adventure in the summer holidays, leaving London in mid July. Our initial idea is for a trip like this - London to Lyon, or Marseille, where we might spend a night or two. Then onto Levanto in Italy, where again we’ll stop and spend some time. Then back up through Switzerland, staying in Lucerne for a few days. Then back to London via either Paris or Brussels. This is very much a work in progress and we were just wondering if anyone had any advice on this sort of route, or anything we might be missing..?! For instance, is it worth travelling down to Marseille; is the train route along the coast to Italy a good one to take? Or are we better off reaching Levanto more directly via Turin or Lyon? Any and all advice gratefully received! Many thanks! Tim 

Hi, I was wondering if someone would be able to help me plan what trains would be best to take. Im looking to take some high speed trains and overnight trains as well. Here's an overview of the dates I will be traveling.   Paris May 22-24 → leave on the 24th and head down to Nice Nice May 24-27 → leave the the 27th to Barcelona (overnight train if possible) Barcelona May 28-June 1 → leave for Florence or Rome morning of June 1 (high speed train if possible) 

I made a reservation for a berth 6 person seat for 66 euros. But I don't know if this seat is a cuschet, sleeper, or just a sitting seat. And I can't choose the seat location, is it normal?

Hello, I am trying to book Rome to Salerno roundtrip (same day) for Aug 1st using Global pass. Rail Europe is not displaying options but TrainItalia has one option at 11pm. Does this mean tickets are already booked or is it not open yet?Another question- I am reading about ticket validation requirements for some trains. How can I validate a ticket in the train station if I have only a digital ticket? Thank you in advance.

Hi, i plan to do the Camino to Santiago de Compestella in September and travel afterwards to Portugal (and eventually return home to the Netherlands). Since i've never traveld with interrail before, what kind of ticket would i need (and what's the best route)?

Hi,I'm trying to book a night train reservation for Budapest Keleti (departure 23.10) to Cluj Napoca on 3 March. I have tried booking through the ÖBB website, but the interrail discount is not being applied, and I end up with the full price of €72 for a couchette.When I enter Vienna as starting location however, I can make a reservation for €13.40.When I check the train with MAV the availability is still high, but the interrail discount, even though it can be added to your person, does not alter the price. There the ticket for a couchette is € 42 though.What would happen if I book Vienna to Cluj for €13.40, but board in Budapest? Will my reservation be voided if I don't get on the train within 30 minutes of departure?
