Our family we want to have pur summer holidays in UK. Leaving from Barcelona (our residence) to London and there travelling by train. Finally returning back to Barcelona.If our holidays are 14 days but not all the days we will travel (eg in London 3 nights without using), which kind of pass should I book? How I can see the map trip (stops, duration,...)? Can I use a sleeping train from Barcelona to London? Just with a Global pass can I do everything?Thank you

Hey guys,We’re taking the train from Charles de Gaulle to Nice and are travelling with our bikes (dismantled in bike boxes from the airport, they’ll fit the required dimensions).  How do I book the bikes on the TGV arm of the journey? Cheers :)

Hello, I am trying to book trains in Italy after June 8th but none coming up on interrail app or website - before June 8th is fine. Same applies for multiple cities within Italy - Milan, Florence, Rome, etc. Any idea why this is?

Hi, what does "the country indicated on your passport or legal equivalent" mean? Does it mean the country that issued the ID or the country where the ID says you live?So I live in France and I'm a French citizen, and I wanted to buy a Global Pass. Now what I should normally do is put France as my country of residence, right?But the problem is, because I was living in Switzerland two years ago when I had to renew my ID card, the address field on my French ID card says I live in Switzerland, and I can't change that because they won’t renew your card every time you change your address.And because I still have a lot of friends in Switzerland, I definitely intend to travel there a lot. So what will happen? What can I take with me to prove that I now live in France, should a Swiss inspector ask me about the address field on my ID card?Thanks for your help.

I would like to know, if I buy a Flexi passes, I have to define the days which I will travel since the beginning (in advances), or how just going the the train stations the days which I want to travel? 

Hi, I’d really appreciate any advice.  I am wanting tobook a trip as a surprise for my husband in April 2025  The plan is to fly into Milan, get a train from Milan to Brig, then the Glacier from Brig to Chur, the Bernini from Chur to Tirano, and then a train from Tirano to Milan  with an over night stop off around Lake Como along  the way.  There will also be an overnight in Brig and Tirano. Can I buy an 5 day Global Interrail to cover all the trips 1st class? (Appreciate till need to pay reservation for Bernini and Glacier).  I’m also concerned about availability - I can book now through a rail holiday company who will bespoke the trip and reserve all seats now but will charge handsomely for it and I feel I can save £700 doing it myself but want to make sure I’m doing it all properly!! There will be 2 adults and one child travelling so I think child age 7 will be free. many thanks for your time!

confused if we should get global 10 day pass if we also want first class travel

HiI've used this site https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish but I can't see TGV 5537 for May 13 2024 (14:05 Colmar to 17:56 Lyon on Rail Planner app. Therefore I cannot add this journey to my Trip in the app. On RailPlanner app I only see -  TGV 2239 running the same time and same route.On Rail Europe.com & Trainline.com, you see both TGV 5537 & TGV 2239 Does anyone know why this is happening? How can I rectify the situation?Thank you.

HiWith the help of fellow Eurail community members, I was able to purchase seat reservation for May 11 CDG to Strasbourg. I couldn’t find Eurail France pass 2nd class, so I chose Eurail Global Pass 2nd class and bought 3 seat reservations.Help Rail Europe replied with the following: Please note that you have a single country pass, due to which you won't be able to book the seat reservation on our website, as we do not have the option to add a single country pass currently on our website.  Is it true that I can’t purchase seat reservation from Rail Europe with my Eurail France pass 2nd class?Does anyone know how refund works with Rail Europe? [I’ve since found the cancellation option inside the app and have requested that.]Please help!Thank you

Hi, I bought my pass and my traveling companion’s pass at the same time.  I can now attach my pass to the mobile app, but she can’t.  What do we do?She wants to be able to control her own tickets with her own pass.  

In March my family and I will be traveling from London (St. Pancras) to Berlin HBF via Brussels Zuid and Koeln. I am attempting to purchase tickets for the leg from Brussels Zuid to Koeln HBF using my Eurail Global Pass - 1st class. However, every time I add that leg to my journey I get an error and I cannot buy the passes. Help?

I’ve been looking at the trains from Salzburg to Vienna on 29th April 2024 on the OBB websute and this message has come up.Construction work - Train cannot runLinz/Donau Hbf <=> Wels HbfDue to construction work some local-trains cannot operate between Linz/Donau Hbf and Wels Hbf/Attnang-Puchheim Bahnhof from 29/04/2024 through 29/06/2024.We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.There seem to be a mix of trains in the search results - Railjets (marked in red)  and some marked WB (in blue). The WB trains stop at Westbahnhof - are these the local trains referred to in the warning message? If so, does this mean the Railjets will run according to the timetable? Many thanks

Hello!  We are flying into Paris and immediately taking a train to Zurich to stay in Switzerland most of our trip, and return back to Paris for our flight back. Does the Eurail (one country,France) travel pass cover the train from Paris to Basel, and on the way back from Basel to Paris? We are getting the Swiss travel pass so im covered in Switzerland. Thanks for your help!

I booked seats from London to Paris and paid for the seat reservation. I would like to change the time we leave.  Do I make this change on the app,or do I need to login to Eurail.com? Is this even possible to do with my Eurail Pass?

Hello everyone! my name is Joy and I’m from California, USA. I just found this community:) and never traveled by train before. My main question is how does this really work? lol . I built my itinerary from London but since there is not a lot information I was little confused😟 Do I hop on these trains? I assume I need to make reservations? are those extra $$? and I assume I hop off destination #1 explore and hop back to another train for destination #2 and so forth? and what about visas? ahhh, sorry for the questions but I don’t want to hit purchase without knowing what I'm doing.  Thank you all😊

We are using Eurostar to travel from Amsterdam to Brussels, and several different TGVs to travel around France on an upcoming trip. How far in advance must strikes be announced? Is there a point where I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing a strike isn’t going to occur during our travel days?

Hello. I’ve never used an interrail pass before and wondered if anyone could offer any advice. We’d like to go for a week/nine days at the end of May, travelling from the UK, hopefully ending somewhere in Italy, before taking a different route home. Is this an okay length of time for a trip of that sort? Does anyone have any recommendations regarding itinerary? All advice gratefully received!!

HiI think this is a simple query 😁about OBB NightJet timetable change.Night Jet ticket as shown below.There are four of us travelling, in 2 x “Sleeper cabin Comfort compartment … including WC”. For the last week or so, I received an email on a daily basis from OBB (with email address Noreply.Reiseinfo-tickets@oebb.at), saying the following. I rely on google translate more than my German (which is none), which tells me a change of schedule.   The link “Jetzt …” is to https://fahrplan.oebb.at/webapp/?SID=O%3DHamburg Hbf%40&ZID=O%3DMünchen Hbf%40&date=22.02.2024&time=20:10&timeSel=1&returnTimeSel=1&journeyProducts=7167&start=1&language=de That link does not help because the date and time are embedded, and the page shows time at and after the time 20:10.   If I click earlier time (I guess that’s what Fruher means), I get:   The above shows that the service that was at 20:10 no longer exists, in other words, NightJet 40491.If I switch the web site to English

Hello. I’m trying to finalise plans and am looking at getting the train from Lucerne to Salzburg on Friday 26th April. I was getting confused by the slightly different options for trains depending on which website I looked at but think that was due to them only presenting options with fast connections. After a lot of searching around I found filters to increase transfer time on Rail Europe and that seems to have brought up the options that I was missing compared with Trainline. The Nightjet part says reservations are recommended but I can’t see how to select this on the Rail Europe site, though I can do so on the Interrail site.I am wondering also if it would be best to put this as two separate journeys on to the app, ie Lucerne - Zurich and Zurich to Salzburg in case I want to change the train time for the first leg. Thank you
