Necesito ayuda, me encuentro de viaje y con el pase activado, estoy buscando un viaje de Liverpool a París, pero todos los viajes me piden hacer reserva de asiento, y son reservas que superan los 100 USD para dos personas, lo cual, es demasiado, siento que el pase no tiene ninguna utilidad si me van a cobras esos cargos extras tan elevados.

Hello,I’m planning to visit Austria and Germany for the first time this April and have booked a cross-border ticket from Salzburg to Munich on April 21, but compared to another domestic ticket I booked with the same company it looks quite different. On the first page, the ticket only shows origin and destination without further details and the spelling of the names of the cities seem different than the second page which is the seat reservation confirmation page. Is this normal for this kind of ticket? I have to use them for VISA application from where I’m from, so It kind of worries me.   

Hello everyone,  I live in France and I’m planning to attend seven Euro matchs in Germany as a spectator between June and July 2024.Therefore, during this lap of time I will to do 4 round tips between Paris-Munich (13 june), Dortmund-Paris (22 june), Paris-Francfort (1 july) and Berlin-Paris (15 july) So a little help from someone who would tell me the right pass for my « situation » will be greatly appreciated :)Best regards, Okocha  

I’m trying to book first class seats using interrail passes from brussels to amsterdam on 4th september 2024. The interrail app doesn’t show any results however the rail europe website shows plenty options but doesn’t seem to allow me to book them. The Eurostar website shows this date blanked out??? Any ideas?

Departure: 13:45, Time: 05:49 h, Trainnumber: AVE INT 09742I called Renfe, called DB, ÖBB and SBB to reserve and asked at DB and ÖBB Office to reserve but no. Also online it is not possible. Has anyone here an idea? Thank you :))

I have seat reservations for Glacier Express with Interrail discount.And now, do I have to book the tickets?How ?The reservation has an advice: “a valid ticket must be presented on the train”Thanks for your help.

I purchased 3 mobile Flexi pass {7 days in one month) on December 9 2023. But on app shows “activate pass by February 1 2024” Since The latest activation date and the latest start date is 11 months after purchase, I have no idea why my last activation date is Feb 1st 2024? These passes will be completely NOT useable for my trip in Germany which starts on March 30th 2024. Please help! Thank you.

I am a first time Eurail rider. I am looking to go from Paris to Zurich in mid to late June and nothing is available. Is there some kind of event or shutdown going on during this period? The train scheduler wants to send me north to Brussels then across to Germany and down to Zurich, it is like an extra 4 hours.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE.Passes were bought erroneously on my credit card. I contacted this HORRIBLE company within minutes to get it refunded. AND THEY REFUSE  to give me a full refund.Not only will they STEAL from you. They will explain to you that their website is made so poorly that you cant even tell if you can get a seat on a train before you buy a pass. So you buy the pass only to find out it wont work for ANY train you need. DO NO, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER DEALT WITH.

Hello, I’ve been reading Travel Books, Travel Websites and oh so many questions and answers about Train Travel in France, especially Paris St Lazare these past few weeks and I’m not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about this ;-)     I have never traveled by train before, so it is all new to me.Briefly, Land in Amsterdam, train to Cologne, train to Mannheim, train to Paris est, Taxi to St Lazare, train to Caen.          Mannheim to Caen is on a Friday in May 2024.Following Friday in May, Train from Caen to Munich via St Lazare, Paris est, Stuttgart, then Munich.CONCERNS: Books/Websites say to Book Trains and Seat Reservations early. 60-90 days early if possible, especially if traveling on Fridays, Busy Months Like May, Using Eurail passes because seats sell out faster and there is a limit on how many Eurail Passes that will be allowed on trains. Hi everyone, extremely knew to the concept of interrailing, heard of it but never considered it a viable option. My intention would be to travel with my bike in tow, it’s only a small BMX bike.  i’ve seen in the FAQ’s that it is at the discretion of the rail companies as to whether they alllow travel with bikes, but was curious to ask in here if anyone had any first hand experience? i assume travelling with a bicycle ain’t hugely unusual and i am hopeful i will be able to make it work on my travels this summer. Thanks in advance,Chaz

Hi,On the interrail planner map, it shows train lines running from Venice to Rome. But, when looking for train times on this website it tells me that there are no trains available. Does anyone know why this might be?

I want to travel from Rotterdam to Paris with the Eurostar and from Paris to Barcelona with the TGV. Both have limited seats available for Interrail. I need to buy the Interrail Pass before I can safe a seat in those trains. How can I be sure of a seat? 

I’m planning a trip to Venice in March and I’d like to travel by train rather than fly, I’m thinking of taking three days on the trip with two overnight stays.  I’d like to incorporate the Bernina Express in the trip too. I’m not a seasoned rail traveller so I’d be grateful for any tips on the practicalities of using interrail for such a trip. 

My husband and I are from the US. In the US….train usage isn’t something we do. As a result, I an clueless on how to make a booking. I am entering our travel cities and nothing generates. We are needing the train for two trips.From Dublin Airport area to York UK. Our flight lands at 5am. In a perfect world, it is no fun hanging out in an airport for hours after an international flight lands. We would like to be on a train heading to York by 8am. I am simply attempting to find information on this path to see what I will have to book closer to our actual arrival. Nothing is generating. From York UK to Edinburgh, Scotland. Departure time 12 noon or earlier. We need to be in Edinburgh by 3pm. Can anyone please help me figure out the trains we will have to take? Also, is it more cost effective to purchase one of the offered Euro Passes?Thanks

Hi all, I'd like some inspiration for my trip from Switzerland to Lisbon. Preferably not via Paris and as few as possible with seat reservations. This trip is planned for around 20th May 2024. I have 10 days/2 Months global pass. Any suggestions?

The Monterosso to Milan scheduler at trentitaiia for the day I want to travel (April 19) says “Sold out seats on train 670. Solution cannot be purchased”. I understand that’s a poor translation that really means the schedule hasn’t been made available yet and bookings are only available till Feb 18 or so . The first puzzle is, how do I know when the seats are truly sold out and when they’re just not available? Theoretically I could be waiting months, checking every week only to eventually find I actually did miss the booking window and the seats are really sold out. Therefore, to try to see what might become available I have tried to use a Friday in Feb to see what might eventually become available. Following is the result. I am 66, my wife is 64 and we have a Eurail 1st class pass. Would I be correct in following the process to book the Economy 1st class, which theoretically gives me the option to change my booking date/time if necessary?
