Hi everyone !!! Help!! We are booking our trains for our great euro adventure. Im interested to hear if anyone has any positive stories about reserving first class seats. The first train we need to reserve is April 30 ( Paris to lucerne ) and seats can't be booked yet. (so hard when you can't lock plans in, in advance ) Sigh. We are keen to be organised but we are super stressed we will not get seats. Does anyone have any actual insight into what date I will be actually be able to book our reservations ? Very grateful to hear any personal experiences :)
With a country pass is travelling from and back to your homecountry included?
We are arriving at de Gaulle airport, and want to go directly to Bayeux. Trying to figure out the quickest/most effective way to do so. It seems we need to go through the St Lazare station, and the best way between there and the airport is the RER train. However, not sure what passes we need, or if we need to purchase passes in advance at all. Thank you!
Hi, Does anyone have experience with traveling from San Sebastian to Paris via Hendaye station in 1 day? What is the best connection between san sebastian and hendaye? by train or by bus? thanks, Remco
Sollte jemand bessere Alternativen haben, gerne her dami
Hey everyone!I‘m currently planning my first interrail trip and thought it would be fun to take the ferry from venice to Igoumenitsa. If i understand it correctly, Global Pass holders should be able to travel free with Attica Group Greece-Italy (Superfast Ferries in cooperation with ANEK LINES) as it is stated under pass benefits:»Global Pass holders are entitled to:International Lines:Free air seats or dormitories (where available) for 1st class Pass holders and free deck passage for 2nd class Pass holders«But if i want to book the passage on their website, only the interrail/eurail greek island pass is listed on the discount-dropdown. Another problem is, that the ferries won‘t show up in the interrail app, if i search for connections between Venice and Igoumenitsa.Maybe someone has an idea what i‘m doing wrong or are the pass benefits just not up to date?Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
Hi, I want to travel home by night train. I have 10 days within 2 months pass and i have still one travel day and one inbound journey left. The pass is valid until 27 January 2024. I want to travel home with night train from Prague to Warsaw. I wont change any trains and train leaves at 21:00 and arrives at 09:20 next day. I want use ony other trains after this night train. Is it possible to use it with onluy one travel days remaning? Another question is about the RailPlanner app. This train EN441 is a direct train. However during journey sleeping cars are connected to different train in Bohumin. This happens while everyone is sleeping and noone notices it. However RailPlanner does not see it and marks destination for EN441 as Bohumin which is not true. Therfore i will need to add it manually (of course if i can use it - this is what the first question is about). Wont adding it manually be a problem?Done Interrailing three times and this is the first one when i get really confused. Gre
We are seniors and will travel from Utrecht (Netherlands) to Rome and back.We have booked our tickets with the Global Pass. But it turns out impossible to book beds and seats.OBB sent us back to Interrail to book the beds we need. What to do???
Hello,I have understood that with the one country pass it is not possible to take trains that cross the border, meaning that you have not right to an inbound or outbound journey from your country of residence. Do you know if this also applies to the train companies of the country I am travelling to (e.g. does this rule also apply if I have a France Country Pass and I want to take a SNCF train from my country of residence)?Alternatively, do you know if it is acceptable to buy a normal train ticket to cover the ride between my city and the first stop in the country I am travelling to (e.g. I buy a normal ticket from Brussels to Lille and I use the France Country Pass from Lille to my final destination in France)?Thank you!Eleonora
I know I buy the interail pass through their website, but where do you actually book the train. I’ve got their planner app, but somebody said that isn’t very good. Can you use the interail pass on other train booking apps, or do u need to use the pass on the interail app and just use the other train apps for live information
Attempted to purchase a paper Global Pass on the Eurail website. Delivery for the paper pass is not until October 2. Our Travel isnt until early December, however, I have two trains that will require a reservation, and would like to do that before the paper ticket arrives, as I dont want to find out later there are no seats available for passholders. My question is if I go ahead and purchase the paper ticket now, with delivery much later, can I get the required pass number to go ahead with my reservations? I really do not want to get a mobile pass. I do understand some folks have had good luck with it, and some not so much. Just prefer the paper. Thanks in advance
Hey. Ich habe die Railplanner App und es sagt mir, dass die Strecke von Deutschland nach Barcelona nicht durch das Pass Netzwerk gedeckt wird. Wie kann das sein? auf deren website steht sogar, dass man dort hin fahren kann?
Hi, I’m planning on going interailing later this year, and I’ve had a brief look at the interail planner app. There’s a particular journey I plan on making (Nice-Milan) and for every single day, there are various options of trains all about 5hrs long. However, when you skip into May 2024, there either aren’t any trains available or there is one but it’s 20hrs long. Is this just because we’re too far away to book, or is it genuinely true that there aren’t trains that take 5 hours in May??

Hi All! My family is traveling from the USA. We start in London, plan to take the ferry over to Netherlands and then travel to Belgium, Paris, then on to Italy for a couple stops. My main question is, with the Eurail pass, does this just cover trains that are on the map? or can you use the trains/trams/buses that are within the cities with this as well. Trying to figure out the cost effectiveness. Thank you!
What if out of a group of 4, one member cannot come anymore? Will the #DiscoverEU pass still be available for the other 3 in the group?

Hi, I am very new to this and trying to book a sleeper reservation for 2 people but struggling to do so. 18th June 23:42 Mannheim Hbf to 09:14 Prague-Holesovice.Any help or suggestions around this would be greatly appreciated!

Eng: Good morning interrail community. My group of friends and I will travel with the 7-day pass. Our doubt centers on the last day of travel (the seventh) as we are not aware if there is a route that connects Milan - Bari (and which is covered by interrail). Does anyone know if a train from Milan to Bari is available? And if so, does Interrail cover the trip?
I see that the Eurail site allows a couchette on the train from Rome to Siracusa to be booked - but it only offers either a seat or Promiscuo. I would like to get a CC-DONNA place though - why doesn’t the Eurail site offer this?is there any site that does? I tried raileurope.com but couldn’t find any reservation-only price, only for full ticket, even though I entered Interrail pass.(Getting ready for fitst ever interrailing - exciting!) TIA
Hello,we are a family of 4 traveling to Europe for the first time next week. 2 Adults and a 20 year old and a 11 year old. Our plans are this. 24-26 Frankfurt. 26-27 Munich 27-29 Salzburg 29-1 Bern. 1-2 Frankfurt for the flight home. We also Land at 6AM on the 24th. Trying to understand the rails. We will do some inner city site seeing most days but it looks cheap to pay as you go for those. But trying to figure out if I would need both a EU global pass and a Swiss train pass. While in switzerland we are thinking of the train ride goldenpass express I think its called. And hitting museums. Just not sure if the EU pass and pay for the other stuff in Swiss is better or how this works. Thank you
Is there a set or approximate date when Eurrail/Interrail might be expected to increase prices for passes?
