Hi,We are 6 adults with 4 aged over 60 and 2 aged between 50 and 60 years old. We would like to buy Eurail global pass. My questions are:Can one person buy 6 passes or each of 6 needs to buy their own pass individually? Shall each of 6 need to download the Eurail app regardless Is there any advantage/disadvantage buying the passes by one for all 6 or each individual
I'm deciding whether to use an interrail pass or single tickets for 2024. It's a bit tricky as the SNCf dates I'm looking for aren’t published yet (dep 25 May - ret 2nd June). Other than the Eurostar (as those dates are available now) I'm looking at dates in Feb and March to check price via SNCF.Can you recommend if using Interrail pass or single tickets is best for this journey? I used interrail pass last year and find it really easy to use so I'm leaning towards that at the moment:4 people - two teens, two adultsCosts without pass:Stroud to London (7.31am dep) total return price £97.80 with family railcardLondon to Lille Europe (11.04am dep) total return price £592Lille Europe to Marseille (14.03 dep TGV ) price per person £150pp!!Marseille to La ciotat £9ppTotal is super high due to TGV cost - unless I use ouigo?? But is this a more a more complicated/longer journey?Based on this the interrail pass represents much better value for money (but i think I need to buy it today to avoid
We have I flight into Brussels, before we start our interail German pass. Is our pass valid to go straight to Cologne from Brussels airport?
Morning!Travelling from London to Lille then on to Marseille. Is 37 mins too short between trains at Lille Europe? Many thanks.
I am planning to buy eurail pass. What is the difference between reserving train with and without eurail pass. Let's say the cost of the ticket is 100€ without pass. If I reserve along with pass, would there be any difference in the total amount I would pay? Like some amount from pass +reservation fee. Or regardless of the pass I still have to pay 100€.

What is an economical means to cover the following cities during our euro visit and the best route to be followed. we are three adults:- Versailles- Paris- Amsterdam- Rotterdam- Geneva- Zurich- Interlaken- Lucerne Please note we are yet finalising the itinerary, however, these are the major cities / places we wish to cover. And it would be a great help if you could suggest what would be the best economical option (also keeping in mind we don't want to waste too much time in travel) - i.e., whether toA) get a eurail global pass for continuous 15 days?OrB) buy single tickets from Paris (France) to Amsterdam (Netherlands) to zurich (Switzerland) If we go ahead with option B, how do we commute within France, Netherlands and Switzerland considering the budget. We plan around 14-15 days in Europe covering the above three countries in April 2024.All the help would be great
We (6 adults) plan to travel on the train from Chur (Switzerland) to Milan (Italy) via Tirano (Italy) on Monday 26th February 2024. My questions are:Given it is a middle of winter in Europe, does Bernina Express run on this day (Monday, 26 Feb 2024) departing Chur? Can we take normal rail (other than Bernina Express) to travel from Chur to Tirano on the same day? Is there a connected train to travel to Milan from Tirano on that day and how long does it take to arrive in Milan?
Hello!I have a doubt: my pass needs to be activated before the 1st of april, 2024. I was wondering if I could activate the pass one day before, and start the trip during April, despite the fact that the pass should be activated before april.Let me know! Thanks you in advance
Hello 👋I'm trying to book the Euronight from Malmö C to Berlin for the 9th March (it's a Saturday) but Track Work Planned is noted from that date and on. I checked the planned work schedule and March is not included, so anyone that have experience with SJ can tell me if I have to wait more to book or is better begin to plan an alternative route? I should go to Berlin from Oslo and I know that Snälltåget is not an option during my travel days. Anyway it would be nice to have a plan B in case of cancellation, would it make sense to consider the ferry from Stockholm? I'm open to any suggestion as long doesn't require more than a travel day and an half.
I am planning a trip of 15 days. I don’t want to travel every day. Is it possible to take an 15 days in a row pass of not?
Unclear if these cities will be included.
Hello! Does anyone know the likelihood of a 10% sale on interrail passes (4 days in one month) before Jan 1st? Thanks.

I’ll be travelling in Europe in July/.August 2024 but I don’t know my exact dates yet so I am not sure which Eurail pass to buyThe only thing I know 100% for sure is I want to go on Eurostar from Paris to London on August 20Can I buy that ticket now - and later include it in a new Eurail pass?thanks :)
Hi there, i am looking to get a global pass this summer to travel from France-Switzerland-Germany-Netherlands, but have not purchased the pass yet. while i am looking at train times between Paris and Bern it is seemingly taking a strange route that takes over 10 hours. this is confusing to me as on RailEurope, they show a train route that travels to Bern vis Basel sbb. wondering why this much shorter (4hour) route is not showing up on the train times page. cheers
Hi Everyone, Looking for some insight on the below:I’m trying to book reservation from Amsterdam to Antwerp for 22nd April 2024. We have got a 7 day Eurail pass. While I was searching for train times, I never got an error and since I’ve purchased the pass and I’m going into the reservation tool, I’m getting the errors.I’m getting the following error for 8:15 train. But train at 10:11 is available: B-Europe:It doesn’t even show 8:15 since I have a 2nd class pass.If I choose that I have 1st class pass, it shows that there is a train. With Second Class Pass:With 1st class pass(which I don’t have): And below is what I see on trainline: So I can get a ticket on trainline but then i won’t be using the pass for that journey.Questions:Is it possible that all the eurail passholder tickets are already sold out for 8:15 train ? From today it’s 117 days untill 22nd April. Is it possible that 2nd class bucket is not yet released only for 8:15 train? Since I can see 1st class tickets available in
Hello, i activated my France Germany pass on the 2nd of December and on my rail planner app it says that my ticket is valid from the 2nd December to 1st of January. i thought that the France Germany pass was only valid until the end of 2023, or does this refer to the activation date ? So the question is, can I still use one trip on the 1st of January
I would like tot go from Holland to Poland by plane and from Poland to Holland by train. Is it possible to check in somewhere else than your home country?
Muchas gracias.
We are traveling on these dates who have first-class global passes, and we have five luggages with us. Could you help to explain the distinction between a recommended seat reservation and an optional seat reservation?
We have reservations at Sparschiene for 31/12/2023 07:05 Zagreb Glavni kolodvor -> 11:07 Villach Hbf (EC212), 11:16 Villach Hbf -> 13:48 Salzburg Hbf (EC112) via ÖBB site.(including seat reservation). There has been a change in my reservation, apparently the train has been changed from EC212 to D212. However, there seems to be no change in time, etc., just a change in train cars. Also, the ticket I currently have is still EC212. Question 1)Please see in image 1. "Please remember to find out about the alternative trains or transports available to you during the time the ticket is valid", so is it necessary to purchase an alternative ticket? Or can I still board the train with this ticket?Question 2)When I click on "Show alternative services", I can see the alternatives as shown in image 2. If I need to purchase an alternative ticket, do I need to pay 152.20 euro to purchase the ticket again? Image 1: Image2:
how do i get back home? i’m from the uk. so for example if i went from london to france would i be able to go from amsterdam to get back to london? i
