I am trying to book a train ticket from Bucharest to SofiaThere doesn’t appear to be a direct train..is that correctI have been recommended a route of Bucharest to Ruse and the Ruse to SofiaThe Bucharest to Ruse train doesn’t appear to  be bookable via CFR …...can anyone helpThe Ruse to Sofia train only appear to be bookable ….does anyone know why Thanks for your help Cheers Morgan    

Hi,Starting the 2024 timetable there are new, dynamic prices for the Nightjet trains from ÖBB. A Dutch railforum wrote about it. I just booked tickets on the Nightjet between Munich and Venice in spring but I can’t get any discount on it while I could get it previously. No matter if you book with or without the discount, you get the same price. You can try for yourself. Now it becomes not interesting anymore to get an Interrail for my favourite route between Amsterdam and Italy. I might have to ask a refund for my unusued Interrail passes.I complained about this with the ÖBB Customer Service last week, but no reaction yet. Did any of you read any official communication about it? Similar experiences? 

Hi, We will arrive in the EU on December 19th. (1 Senior and 2 Adults). I activated the mobile pass for the two adults on December 19th, but the Senior Passenger's birthday is on December 21st (60th). I am unable to activate the pass because it will only be valid on December 21st. I must have missed or forgotten that her first trip begins on her birthday. We paid for a seat reservation on the 20th of December. Is it possible for her to board the train and we will just pay the difference or a rail fare? Thanks in advance

Hello,We are a family of 4 from Australia travelling for 3 weeks (from last week of Jan to mid Feb) with our kids aged 15 and 8.We aim to tour the following countries - London > Amsterdam >Paris > Barcelona > Rome > Milan > back to London. I am planning to buy a global pass with 7 travel days in one month. This ticket will cost $1390 usd for 1st class and $1000usd 2nd class.However, I am confused with all the reservation fees that are bumping the prices up. The costs are surely adding up such that I am asking myself whether taking the plane or Eurostar is much better? Or maybe I cannot afford to travel and see other countries.Can you please advise if there is anything that I might be missing? Can I avoid paying reservation on some of the route? Where can I get the cheapest accommodation? Lastly, am I making a wrong decision touring Europe with kids in winter? I am hoping to utilize the winter more for the travel.Many Thanks!!

Hey everyoneI tried to book a reservation on italiarail.com but I cant figure out which number is the “passholder number” that is requested… I’ve got a paper pass and already tried the cover number and booking number, but everything is “Invalid”. Has someone got a solution for this problem? CheersKati

I want to buy the 5-day flexi Global Pass, but I have a question, I am going to take the night train from Munich to Budapest and then the night train from Budapest to Krakow, neither of them change trains and both would be within 24 hours. . I don't know if in those conditions they count as one day or if it would be 2 days, if you could help me please 😥

I wish to book seat reservations for the INT AVE train from Nimes to Madrid. The Interrail website does not allow me to do this. Can I reserve at Nimes station? We will arrive there 24 hours earlier.

Hallo an alle, ich bin völlig überfordert mit der Reiseplanung von Stuttgart nach Split (Kroatien). Ich verstehe nicht welchen Pass ich benötige. Wir wollen am 30.12.23 von Stuttgart aus los und am 06.01.24 von Split aus wieder zurück nach Stuttgart.Da ich noch NIE mit dem Zug eine Reise gemacht habe und mich da wirklich überhaupt nicht auskenne was ich da jetzt genau benötige, hoffe ich auf eure Hilfe. wir sind 2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind (12 Jahre9 und 1 Kind (10 Jahre).  Was muss ich buchen!! hi I purchased 15 days pass but struggling to book any seats from 31st December to 15th January  via euro rail.is there any other way I can reserve the seat or cancel my pass .

ok im old and not tech savy at all.. but i have managed to work out that France is like a not welcome zone..besides that.im booking Zurich via Innsbruck then down to Florence.my simple question is do i just need to reserve tickets on for example OBB  for the dome car between Zurich and Innsbruck or buy one there too?  ( both show up as no cost )is the eurail the ticket ? and the OBB  i have now a reservation only ?you can see why im bald   lol  it fried off  

Hello,I hold the Interrail France-Germany Pass which is a Flexipass of 7 days within 1 month. My country of residence is Germany but I am currently already traveling in France and have not used my outbound ticket to get here. (I came by other means of transport)So what I would like to do is:travel days 1-3: within France (I already used them)travel day 4: Montpellier - Cologne =  inboundtravel day 5: Cologne - Montpellier = outbound travel day 6+7: within France The question is: Is it possible to use the inbound before the outbound journey? (Normally it would be the other way around) And is it possible to travel within France when I have already used out+inbound? thanks a lot!   

Hi all,I am trying to reserve a seat for the Eurostar between London and Paris Nord on 26th July 2024. I know it’s quite early but just want to make sure I have a seat as that will be during Olympic time. I used the B-Europe website and the website shows the following message:“No connections matching your requests.Please change your search options (e.g. allow any type of trains, don't specify a via station or reduce extra transfer time)”I have checked several days in July and August, and only the morning of 26th July shows this message. Does this mean all the tickets for the pass holder on that morning are sold out? Is it really possible for the train to be fully booked since it is still 7 months early? Reservation through the Eurail website for that day is even not open yet since it is more than 180 days. Do I still have a possibility to reserve a seat for that day?Would truly appreciate with your help.Thank youKathy

Je voudrais savoir si, avec ce pass global, il est possible de voyager en plusieurs périodes pendant sa durée, en rentrant chez soi entre les périodes. Hi, I’m looking for a few people to travel with(ideally one or two). Im from Munich Germany and will probably start from there. The idea behind the trip is to go see spain and portugal and end the trip by learning how to surf in portugal for about two weeks. Of course it would be completely fine for me if you want to part ways along the journey. A rough sketch of my route would be something along the lines of Munich → Marseille → Barcellona → Madrid → Lissabon → location of the surfing class → Back home. I have 7 travel days available so I might stop by another city or cool place on my way back home (for 1 or 2 days). We are traveling to some countries next May and June. We plan to buy Eurail global pass. My son is 27 years old and 16 days  on the first day of traveling. I am wondering if he can use Eurail global pass for youth? 

I want to buy an Europass ticket and use it to book a ticket on a train, say 24/12/23, would the 22 day limit on my ticket start counting on the day I make the booking or when I first ride on a train? Thank you!
