Get ready to travel

Hi guys.  I know this question has been asked several times.  It has been answered through this forum that the Eurail Global Pass does cover the Tirano to Milano Central services by Trenitalia Regional train (eg Trenord 2827). The issue is the above service is not listed in the Rail Planner apps. Kindly please help me on how to book the Trenord Tirano to Milano Central journey via Rail Planner apps. I will travelling there above route before this coming Christmas. Thanks guys.    

HiI have to book my train from Stockholm to Koebenhavn 1st March (05:21am - 10:33am) and I have a waiting time of 1 hour to take my next train Koebenhavn to Hamburg. Is one hour enough? what is your experience regarding the punctuality of Danish train? Thanks

Hi I try to book my sleeper cabin for me and my husband but I receive a message that I cannot book because there is a conflict of gender … it is like if the application doesn’t recognise that we travel together. Night train between Hamburg to Stockholm.Someone can help me?

Hello,  I am staying in Seville for a few days and would like to take a couple of day trips to Granada and Cordoba.  I have 3 month Global Pass - 1st Class and have been able to make reservations for certain Spanish trains via Eurail site, but these day trips show on the Eurail site as not being available online.  Can I just go to the train station and book these the day of the journey?   Gracias!

I am going to travel London, Manchester, Bruxelles, Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome.I have bought the Global EU Rail Pass which state that can travel 33 countries.May I ask if I can use it for the transportation ( metro/ train / tram) within each city?As my friend’s experience, it is valid for London’s metro. However, I am not sure if it is valid for the other cities. If it doesn’t work, May I ask any other pass or how should I get the ticket for each cities?🙏🏻 Also, if it works, May I ask do I need to buy the tickets in the station? Or I can scan any code to enter the station? thanks a lot.

Hi, we will be staying at Switzerland mainly in Bern. Is Eurail Global Pass valid/works for public train, ferries, bus in Basel, Zurich, Interlaken? We would like to ride a bus and ferry going to Lake Brienz and hop in to ride at Harder Kulm (Funicular).  Will cable cars be also included or has a discount only? I have the Frech-German Friendship-Pass and want to ask, if I start it at  31th December it will last until 30th January 2024 or is it just for 2023? I’m not sure, maybe you can help me

Hi! I'm planning my journey in Norway for March.My idea is to do:Oslo ->Trondheim in a travel day, and eventually catch the Trondheim ->Bodoe at 23.05Then few days later :  Trondheim ->Oslo in a travel dayDue to the collapse of the bridge on the route between Oslo and Trondheim scheduling the travel from one city to another has become difficult. The only solution suggested by the rail planner is to spend the night in Ringebu, but watching the time-schedule on the SJ website opened other possibilities.On the way to go traveling Saturday or Sunday:Oslo ->Faavang ..substitutive bus Faavang->Ringebu ... Hello,I have bought a train reservation from Stuttgart to Paris. The ticket says:Valid Eurail Pass or InterRail Pass must be presented. Ticket can be exchanged orrefunded free of charge before departure. From 30 minutes prior to departure,tickets can be exchanged up to two times (for the same day and the same journey),and are non-refundable after the first exchangThe question is now how can I proceed with the reimbursement (or change) of the ticket?Thank you!

I was trying to book a reservation using our Eurail Global Flexi First Class passes. And here is what I tried in sequence:On the SBB app, it shows the route and the train I want, but the booking fails when I select “Reservation only”. Called SBB call center and the agent said that the app/website doesn’t support purchasing “reservation only”. She can help me with that. After the laborious process of giving our names, DOB, credit card details, with seat selection that she was able to, the payment failed twice - both for Visa and Amex cards. The agent said that she has seen this issue with “non-European credit cards”. So I went back to the excellent “Seat 61” website and the advice there was to use OBB or Interrail. Tried Interrail, but here it asks for the “place and country of birth”. I just don’t understand the relevance of such info and the price was Euro 13 per passenger plus a service fee. And no way to select specific seats (like window seats facing each other). Tried the OBB app

Hello - I have an Interrail Paper Pass - I’m trying to book Eurostar - via b-europe.com - I have got all the way to the end but keep getting invalid Passholder Number. Where is the Pass number on the current paper pass please? (on b-europe it says its top right of the pass - but this shows my passport number - 9 characters // on the paper pass on the bottom left is a Stock number 080xxx74 - 8 characters plus on the back of the pass there is E 8077974) - all options seem to say Invalid Passnumber.Can someone help please?Thanks

Hi there! I will be traveling to Spain, Italy, and Switzerland in the Spring. When in Switzerland, we plan on visiting Interlaken, Grindelwald, possibly Luaterbrunnen, Zurich, and maybe Bern if we have time before we go to Spain. I believe there are no trains through Eurail that take you to Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen so a separate pass/ ticket has to be purchased, but since we would have the Eurail pass, we get a discount. Does traveling to these other cities that are not included count as a travel day since we are using our discount? I would assume they dont but just want to make sure before purchasing my pass.I am wondering the same thing for Spain. We will be traveling to Valencia, Seville, Madrid, and Caceres. On the map I see that “other lines” go to Caceres but since I cannot add this city to my itinerary through Eurail, I do not believe that Eurail trains go to that location. I’d like to confirm that traveling to these cities won’t cost me an extra travel day and also how woul

Hi everyone, I will be travelling in Italy in December and now I am looking for the specification for the tracks of a the trains of my connections.  I can‘t find any information on the tracks, not in the railplanner app, in the trainitalia app or in the DB app. I can‘t find them either for todays connections.  Example: IC730 from Palermo to Messina, 04/12/2023, 10:15 h. Can someone help me finding some information online about the track of the trains in italy? I think it will be quite helpful to know the right track in advance if you have a short time to change trains.  Thank you!

if i the validity of my Eurail pass is until 22 December and I  board a  train that departs at 20:00 on 22 December, which is due to arrive at my destination at 03:00 AM (next day on 23 December),  can i still travel on Eurail pass or i need to buy a separate ticket for the last journey?

Hi, I was checking the prices for the global pass and one country pass and there is quite a big difference.  I want to travel to Germany from Belgium (my country of residence). I hold a non-european passport but i have a valid residence permit of Begium. In the details of Global pass it is mentioned that you can only buy it if you are living outside Europe…. Do you think I can get this global pass and use my non-European passport as ID????    Even though my plan is to visit Germany for max of 5 days but the price of one country pass is exactly the same (but fewer days), I have attached the screenshot here for your reference… It would be nice if i can get some practical suggestions in this regard… (preferably today as sale will end tonight😉 :)) One country pass :  

HiI have 3 1st class interrail passes and wish to book a direct INOUI train from Paris to Strasbourg for  March 2024.Is the seat reservation/fare really 20 euros per person ?  ie a total of 60 euros for this single trip for 3 passengers?
