Dears I can't find any seat reservation from paris to strasbourg 23rd of DecThe trains without seat reservation takes 5 hours to strasbourg I've 1st class pass What can I do 

As an Interrail traveller, are I entitled to reimbursement of costs if a train is cancelled for a reserved train? On our last Interrail journey, this happened to us twice due to strikes in France and Germany. In France we were not informed in advance and only found out on the train that the train was not travelling to Barcelona but only to Perpignan (the strike was regional only there). To avoid getting stranded in Perpignan in the evening, we took the Flixbus to Barcelona. Afterwards, I applied to SNCF for compensation for the cost of the Flixbus plus the taxi in Barcelona (it was 2am on arrival instead of the planned 9.30pm), but both my electronic and paper mail requests were ignored. As a customer, I find this very unsatisfactory as we paid for the Interrail ticket as well as for the expensive seat reservation on the TGV (36€ per person). It worked better with Deutsche Bahn. The situation was similar, but at least they gave us a voucher for the amount of the extra costs.As the trav

Is the senior pass valid for travel in Germany.  In the terms and conditions it states:” The senior category is not available for the Eurail or Interrail German rail pass”.

Hello, I bought my EURAIL of 15 days to use it through a lapse of 2 months. I will start using it on the 23rd of December, so I would like to know if the last day of use is the 22nd or the 23rd of February. I hope you can help me. Thanks. 

Hello, I purchased a 15 days in 2 months pass on November 12th, 2023, paying the full price of 518 Euros. I used it on the 12th and then not again until a week later.Three days later the same pass went on sale with a 25% discount, 389 Euros. At that point, having used one day of travel, I could no longer cancel the pass or claim anything.To say that I am annoyed doesn’t begin to describe what I am thinking. I feel that I have been completely deceived. A sale of these proportions should be announced quite a bit in advance. Doing it this way is discriminatory, and against all rules of common sense.Very disappointed at how Interrail handles all this.

I am planning to travel and use my pass from the 25th of December to the 27th of December. But today when I checked my phone I was surprised to find that my pass has been activated and the Validity period is from 25th Nov to 24th Dec. I'm devastated and can't deactivate. what should I do in this situation to avoid losing my 200 euros? Also, I did not use any of the travel days.

I got Eurail passes, but when i ordered them I signed in through facebook, I didn’t create a Eurail account. Now I am trying to activate those passes but when I try to log into my Eurail account and I press log in through facebook, it just sends me back to the Eurail log in page. What can I do?

I live in Italy and wish to buy a Great Britain Pass (3 or 4 days). Does the Pass include travel from Italy (1 inbound and 1 outbound) as per Global Pass?

I have done the following so far:On the Rail Planner mobile app, I created two identical trips (one each for me and my wife)  Created each segment of travel as individual “journeys” and then linked them under these two trips Made one reservation on the OBB mobile app (didn’t realize I should have mentioned that I have the Global pass under discounts section) and so I was charged 13 Euros per head - fees towards my education, I guess! After understanding it a bit better with the help of others on this forum, I made two other reservations on the OBB mobile app using the Eurail Global Pass (first class) and wasn’t charged any reservation fees.What’s the next step?How do I let my Flexi global passes know that I have used up 2 of the 7 days of travel? How do I link this information? When should I activate the pass? Can I activate the passes online or do I need to visit a train station? I will be in Paris a month before the first travel date and if I have to activate it, can I do it at one o

UK to Italy in May (3 weeks) - I'm looking at an Interrail pass (-25% sale) - and booking London - Paris (booking asap) then to Zurich (probably the same day) and onto Bologna, etc - and 2 weeks around Italy with flexible itinerary. Probably spending 1 or 2 days in each place bfore moving on.I'm new to Interrail (not trains though!) - am I right in thinking we should be ok getting seat reservations (where needed) on the fast trains - say a day ahead? Hi, I am looking for a train from London - Paris Nord on 26th Dec, but unable to reserve a seat. May I ask if there are other ways I can reserve a seat on Eurostar or alternative routes I can take. Would it be possible for me to reach London and book it via the train station on 23rd Dec? Would they still have available tickets to reserve under Eurail? Many thanks!

Aka "Story of the ghost train" Wondering if someone had same misfortune like me and managed to get compensation from Interrail/Eurail… What happened: on Nov 26th, Eurail sold reservations for night train from Zurich to Wien (40467) with departure 9.40pm. However it seems the train left at 8.40pm. There were 10-12 people with same issue like me at the railway station, was impossible of course to get any help as it was out of SBB responsibility In my situation, consequences were financially huge as this was a connection in the middle of the trip and I had no choice but to spend night in Zurich and move my tomorrow schedule-  today trip only is now more expensive than what I paid for the discounted pass during November seasonal offerInterracial/Eurail: please fix this schedule and compensate people! I know Switzerland is famous for trains to be on time, but to have a train leaving one hour before the time printed on the ticket is surely something precedently unseen... 

HI I am trying to book a train from Paris to London on 28th December 2023, I have acquired the Global Pass… However, no seats seem to be available and as it says, seat reservation is mandatory. Someone please help me out!!!Thanks in advance 

I am new with Eurail Global Pass and the APP. I plan to take train from Genoa to Chamonix and I have to change train at Milan Centrale, Visp, Martigny, and Vallorcrine. When I use APP to add my trip, do I have to add each segment (like Genoa to Milan) as one trip? and check reservation requirement and buy seat for each segment separately? thanks

Si quiero reservar este tipo de trayectos donde la reserva no es obligatoria, como hago?En caso de que no se pueda, como garantizo poder tomar el tren el dia y hora del trayecto? llegando horas antes a la estacion me garantizaria la entrada al tren?Gracias por su ayuda.

Ich möchte gern einen Pass (Senior, 10 Tage innerhalb von 2 Monaten) aus dem Promo-Angebot buchen. Da ich der älteren Generation angehöre und kein Smart-Phone/I-phone besitze, hätte ich den Pass gern in Papierform. Scheinbar ist das nicht möglich. Ich kann aber in den deutschsprachigen Nutzungsbedingungen nichts finden, dass das Promo-Angebot nur für Mobilfunk gilt. Lösung?

Trip: WIEN HBF (Austria) - VENEZIA MESTRE (Italy) Dec 26 2023. Rail Jet Train 131I checked the OBB website and it does offer the Business Class upgrade on my train using my Eurail pass (1st Class), but via the Eurail site, I could only make a first class reservation, which I did.I would like a Business Class reservation and am happy to pay the difference in fare, but how do I now do this, having made a first class reservation via Eurail?  And why doesn’t Eurail offer this Business Class option via their reservation system, for this train?Thank you.

Is there any discount for Jungfraujoch hiking and sledding pass? If not , are the pass plus the additional return ticket from eigergletcher to Jungfraujoch cheaper than normal ticket?

Hi, may I please know if the costs of seat reservation are different for first class Eurail pass and second class from Paris to Zurich?

My daughter and I have a 4 day in 1 month global pass. We have travelled from Manchester to Euston, St Pancras to Paris, Paris to Barcelona and Barcelona to Alicante. We travelled over 3 days. We will fly back to Manchester from Alicante, leaving one travel day left on our passes. Is there a definitive answer please as to whether we can use our last pass day once we return home? I have asked a similar question previously, but felt using the last day on a separate trip was a little frowned upon, but it’s a free day on my pass, that I’ve paid for and could still use. Could we travel to London from Manchester, for example, using the pass, and then pay for a single ticket the next day to get home?

Hey, i wanted to buy the promoted global pass from the Save & Donate Sale (16.11.23 - 28.11.23).I m currently in UK and want to use it here.
