Hi, I am an international student (non-European passport) currently residing in Belgium. I have been living here for the past two years and hold a valid residence permit card from Belgium. I am planning to visit Germany for 3 days.I am writing to seek clarification regarding my eligibility to purchase an Interrail Pass. As a non-European passport holder, I am uncertain whether I should opt for an Interrail Pass or a Eurail Pass for my upcoming travel plans. Any other practical advice would also be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I have an Eurail global pass, I'm wonder if there is any boat services that is included in the pass in Switzerland?

I was checking the price for the seat reservation in first class Bodo - Trondheim and it turns out it's no longer free (like it used to be) for first class holders and it costs 500 NOK, that’s about 43 euro for a seat.  Am I checking something wrong or have they introduced the most expensive seat reservation fee for first class in Europe?

I'm struggling to understand train connections between Poland and the Baltics and between the Baltics. Why are there no trains on the planner? How should I move in those areas? Thank you very much 

Hi!I’m planning on interrailing from the end of July to early/mid September. I just wanted to double check before I buy- the Black Friday discount for two months continuous says that the latest date of travel is the 31st July.Does this mean that the travel dates (if I start as late as possible) will be from 30th July- 30th September? It also says about activating it from the 1st June or before, which I understand to be adding passport detail and first train information. Is this when the first travel day is activated from- I assume not as the latest it says to travel from is the 31st July but want to make sure before I buy it! Thank you!

If I activate my card on 1 June but don’t start my travel until 30 July when does my 2 months pass finish?

Hello I have a 1st class eurial pass travelling from strasbourg to salzburg 23rd of Dec and I need train after 8 pm what's the recommendation please even for the seat reservations And I have another travel from prauge to Paris 31 Of Dec Thanks  

I ordered 2 senior passes and have received 2 youth passes for 2 other people with a different order number,  I don’t want to change to a mobile pass having read so many negative comments about the app and neither do I want to order 2 new passes (cost £1000+) then send back the other ones (because I don’t have them!) and wait for a refund.  This is totally Interrail’s fault for putting the passes in the wrong envelopes! What can I do? Thanks for your help.

Hello, I am planning my scandinavian trip with the interrail ticket, but I need some help. The issue is that I want to go from Germany to Copenhagen to Oslo to Stockholm and then to Helsinki, but in the app the Stockholm-Helsinki journey is not shown. You can add the journey manual, but it is too risky. Can someone help me to solve the problem or suggest another option?

Hi Everyone! I will be in Europe for 3 weeks traveling to Spain, Italy, and Switzerland. During out time in Switzerland we’re hoping to visit Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Zurich. When looking at the railway map, the only stop in that area is Bern, does that mean there is no train available to go to the other cities? I got the app to see if there are trains that run to the area and it does show stop stops in Interlaken, I’m just confused as to why it does not show on the map. I’m wondering if maybe a different pass is required or it would cost extra to get to these cities. I appreciate anyone’s help on this, thanks!

We are planning to fly from Budapest to Istanbul for the last leg of our journey. We need advice if we should purchase the 10days in 2 months flexi tickets or the 22 days continues tickets. We would also like advise on the availability of night trains in-between the destinations listed above to save on daylight times if possible and on top of the cost of the Eurail Global Pass, how much should we expect to pay for seat reservations? If I buy a year pass for 4 days a month. Can I travel to lille from Glasgow on 1st day then 2 days travelling Belgium and Germany then 4th day back to Glasgow

HiI’m planning/learning/researching for May 2024 France-only trip. Will need to store 3 mobile passes on 1 iPhone (2 seniors & 1 adult). Have not bought the 7-day eurail pass yet. I am trying to understand how I should name my “folders” on the Rail Planner app.“My Pass”: I believe this is where I will see the 3 passes (once bought & loaded on the iPhone)“Planner”: when I do a test search using the “Planner” tab, after I select a journey, click on “Save journey”, I’m not sure which “folder” I should save in. (See “My Trip” for more details).“My Trip”: this is a problematic area for me. What is the “Trip Name” supposed to be?using dates such as “May 19, 2024”? using locations ? “Paris Est to Colmar”? or just a general name like “France 2024”? I really want to do it correctly as I also need to duplicate journeys/trips to add to the other 2 senior passes on my iPhone. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hey! I am considering about getting the Black Friday discount pass witg 15 travel days in 2 months. It says that the discount ticket must be activated on 1st of June. Does that mean that if I activate it on 1st of June it will be valid until the end of July? I would only make my journey on July.

I have (already) bought a Eurail Global Pass (coming first time to Europe with spouse). Budget is my BIG concern & I want to take full benefit of this pass (for cheap travel wherever possible).I am concerned about traveling to (& within Italy) on this Pass. The major routes that I want to travel (on different days) using this pass include; I want to avoid seat reservations where ever possible and I welcome all any advice.Lucerne to Milan (Dec 23rd) - I’d like to visit nearby attractions like Lake Como on Dec 24th.  Milan to Florence (Dec 25th) - Maybe visit Pisa/Cinque Terre on Dec 26th Florence to Naples (Dec 27th) - I know time’s a concern and if I could, I’d love to see Amalfi coat or any other southern towns Naples to Rome (Dec 28th) - I’m in Rome for 3 days before I fly back on 31st Dec.So my questions are:I need help/guidance to find a cheap/free train from the above locations (or some nearby location) till Rome while utilizing Eurail Global Pass. Hi to everyone!We are planning the following trip:Friday:hometown (location Germany) to Hamburg22.03h Hamburg night train to Stockholm 9.57h (arrival Saturday)Saturday:18.08h Stockholm to Narvik 12.40h (arrival Sunday)But this ‘costs’ only 2 days of the ticket, as the last train is a nighttrain and is an overnight connection and the journey ends with this train.The journey back:Friday:15.11 Narvik to Stockholm 10:09h (arrival Saturday)17:34h Stockholm to Hamburg 8:56h (arrival Sunday)Hamburg → hometown (in Germany)But here it ‘costs’ 3 days, because there is another change of train in Germany travelling home.But, to sum-up, the 5-day ticket would be ok.
