Dear all! This more a question of common understanding the Interrail-Ticket System...At the moment the 10-days-global-pass is on sale. But, just to get it right, I will only have one day for leaving my home country and one day for travelling back. I cannot make more sereval smaller trips. E.g. I will go to Sweden (in my case from Germany) and come back home, after let´s say 5 days. Then, after three weeks more, I will travel from my home town to Italy. This is not possible, as there is just one travel day for leaving the home country and one coming back. All the other 8 travel days need to be laid between leaving and coming back. Do I get this right?Thank you for feedback!Bye, Stephan
Hi there, I'm new here. I am going to go to Turkey by train in January. Direction Plovdiv - Izmir. We are going to go with a team of programmers from Emat Bulgaria. Which train do you recommend to choose? Is it a transfer route?
Hello everyone,Hope you can clear this doubt. I want to purchase a 4 Eurail passes 2 for my wife and me and 2 for my kids (9 years and 2 years old). If my 9 year old kid has his eurail pass for free, I do not have to pay for a Swiss Junior Pass right? So he can travel for free?
Hi I am travelling to Europe tomorrow with my daughter using an interail pass.I have activated my pass but I have no journeys to add as this has all been done by my daughter. Will this be a problem, how does this work when I have no journeys on my pass?
Hello,I bought a Eurail French Pass and have already made seat reservation. The travel date is December 1, 2023. I would like to exchange the pass to Eurail Global Pass. If I change the pass, do I have to make seat reservation again? Can I use the current seat reservation that I made earlier?Thank you.
Hello everybody,I live in Jersey Channel Islands and wish to travel around Europe next Summer (2024) for about 3-4 weeks by train. Two Questions ????1...am I allowed to buy a pass as I (sort of) live in UK ?2...if yes….what is the best pass I should get (two adults one child-10-) ? Hi all,We have recently purchased our 10 days flexi Eurail pass and would like to reserve our seat in Eurostar London- Amsterdam train dated 20th April 24.However, after trying since last 4 days in b-europe website, I am constantly getting the below message:"No connections matching your requests. Please change your search options (e.g. allow any type of trains, don't specify a via station or reduce extra transfer time)" I am unable to understand the above message. This message seems to be coming for almost all weekends after mid Jan 24. Same train is available to book on all other days even for 19th April and 21st April. So please help me out to understand, why no availability for weekends? Is the schedule not updated for weekends? Or is there no availability for this train left for 20th April?I am still 6 months far from travel,is it really possible that this train is booked for weekends as far as mid April?Would appreciate your assistance in this regard. Thanks,Sonali

Hey, I wanted to book a trip by Night Jet (ÖBB) from Paris to Vienna on december 26th. I checked regularly since august but no seats were ever available. I wanted to know if it’s because every seats have already been booked or if this trip was not officially open to reservation yet ? On ÖBB website, this message appears: “Timetable 2024Please note that planning for local, regional and long-distance passenger rail services for the 2024 timetable year (as of 10th December 2023) has not yet been completed and the timetable data is not yet complete. It is therefore possible that the local, regional and long-distance connections will be changed or cancelled at the time of the timetable change, that additional services may be added to the timetable data or that the departure or arrival times or the operating transport company may still change. This particularly affects the long-distance services listed below:List of affected long-distance trainsTicket sales for the night train connections are
Another couple of questions about reservations:Is a reservation obligatory on the German part of the ICE Frankfurt - Paris? Is the Interrail pass valid on the bus from Saarbrücken to Luxembourg? And what's the easiest way to reserve a seat?
Hello, Has anybody made journeys to german borderpoints like Basel Bad with the france-german pass ?Thank you and have a nice day ! :)
Thank you in advance for a solution to my question. We have done train travel in many countries with/without passes, but this is my first time booking with Eurail Global pass (Flexi 7 days in one month). So, I must be doing something incredibly stupid. I have always used Trainline app to buy tickets in Spain and Italy earlier.I have two of the Eurail First class global passes (my wife and I), downloaded the Rail planner app, created two identical trips (one for each of us), connected the passes (not activated as yet), created multiple journeys under the trips. I couldn’t figure out how to use the info I stored in the trips/journeys to the Interrail reservation system the app takes you to. So, anyway I created a trip for one of my journeys (Milano central to Vienna Wien). Interrail shows the one transfer thru Venezia Mestre and when I choose that and try to book, it asks me for my “country and city of birth”, and doesn’t ask for my passport details. My country of birth is different from
I am planning a trip late December from the UK into Netherlands/brussels via the Eurostar. I have checked b-europe and can see the availability for interrail reservations is very slim, but on the actual Eurostar website there still seems to be a good amount of availability for all services that dayUK trains have notoriously been either delayed or cancelled during the Christmas period due to strikes and I think its fair to assume this is likely to affect my trip, and potentially my arrival time into st pancreas. On b-europe interrail reservations are available for the 11am eurostar, but thats the last one for the entire day. So I am confused as to whether I would be totally stuck in London if my train is delayed or cancelled, as I will be travelling with an interrail pass, not a specific eurostar ticket.
Planning our first Interrail trip commencing on 28 June 2024 for two weeks. Initially we were looking at the 7 days within a month pass for €317 for a senior but have noticed that the promo 10 days within two months at €285 seems better value. This pass needs to be activated before 1 June 2024. My question to more experienced travellers is that I am assuming that we can activate towards the end of May and then use it for our trip a month or so later. I am also assuming that we can activate the pass without using it on a travel day. It would be good to get reassurance that the above plan would work before pressing the button to buy the pass.
Hi, I am traveling from CDG to Strasbourg on 12/23 and have changed some details on my not-yet-started trip, meaning that I want to get a different set of Eurail passes. I already booked the reservation for the TGV on the 23rd, which required my pass number. Does anyone happen to know if it possible to change the number for the pass on the reservations? Or will they give me issues the reservation is based on a different pass number? Thanks!-Josh
Hi travel-lads,Interrail would have started a pilot with using more inbound/outbound days on the app.My question ara:1: Does this pilot still work?2: Which Country-residents are entitled for this pilot?3: How many travel-days would be given?4: Could the extra In-/outbound days use for more come-backs to your home-country, of are they only apllicable for an inbound-Outbound day with stop-over nights between such trips?
Hello all we are planning to take the 5 days in a Month France rail pass and plan to do ravel from Paris to Strasbourg on the TGV with a reservation However on the travel form Strasbourg to Chamonix ( both destinations being in France ) we hav to change trains in Geneva , visp and martigany I wanted to know if my France rail pass will be valid on this journey ?
Hi. I am starting my Europe travels on 23rd of June 2024. I know there are discounted passes for sale at the moment and I’ve read they’re valid for 11 months after purchase. However, when I scroll down to the bottom it says, ‘For trips starting before June 1’ How do I purchase a pass valid for my dates? Thanks!

Hi everyone:I’m researching, learning about Eurail pass for France (within France only trains) for May 2024 trip with senior parents. I will have put all 3 passes on my iPhone as we will be travelling together the whole time. (I have not bought the Eurail pass yet.)I’ve read the Guide Sorry if it’s a silly question but I didn’t see anything on how to save/where to save a seat reservation (understood best to buy from this site https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish )Can I ask once a seat reservation is bought, do I store/save the QR code or whatever the format to my iPhone wallet? Once I have bought the pass then I show the pass, the “trips” for that day and the seat reservation (QR code in PDF somewhere on my phone)? Is that the idea?Thank you in advance.
Is it necessary to obtain Berlin S-Bahn ABC tickets, or will my activated Eurail Pass suffice? Are there limits on which, if any, S-Bahn Berlin tourist tickets can be obtained this way?We are going to Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, and Frankfurt (in that order) to visit the Christmas markets and see some of “old Europe” in the winter. Our trip will last 13 days (excluding flights to/from U.S.) We are both over 65 but I am not (yet) retired. I’ve already purchased Euro Night tickets for the trip from Berlin to Budapest. I’m likely to buy the first-class Eurail Global Pass Promo Senior 10 days within 2 months (2 x Senior for USD $ 772) (I’ll pay in Euros we exchanged last year.) I know that public transportation in Prague will be free (since we are over 65.) Berlin is different: are the tourist passes through S-Bahn Berlin worth it? Will our Eurail Passes provide any discount? It does not look like public transportation in Vienna is included in Eurail Passes - is Frankfurt S-Bahn cove
Hi there,I am a bit confused about using Eurail to travel on Eurostar from London to Paris on the 29th of December this year. I know this time is very busy, and the ticket prices on Eurostar are increasing significantly now. When I used Eurail to book a reservation, it always said, “Prices unavailable. No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out...”. I tried to use B-europe.com to make a reservation, but it’s only available for Eurail pass 1st class (it says that I’m using the 2nd class pass 😥).Is it fine for me to purchase the 1st class anyway, even though I’m using the 2nd pass?I know there is another option to transfer the Eurail 2nd pass to a 1st pass, but I have already made some reservations with my current 2nd pass, and I had to pay for these reservations. If I transfer to the 1st pass, it means I will lose them. Thanks for taking the time to read my question. I’m an overseas visitor and have never used this system before. Your answers would help me a l
