Hello,I have a question about the validity for Eurail pass between VALLORCINE (France) and MARTIGNY, GARE (Switzerland). The validity seemed OK. for yesterday, but not OK. for today. Is this kind of situation occurred because of the weather condition? Now I am planning a long traveling in Europe for about 2 months. I am worry about that my planning can’t be completed smoothly because of the uncertainty and it will affect the reservation for air ticket and aural pass.
I was gifted a Eurail Global Pass, 1st class, for the duration of my trip to Europe. On my itinerary I have a lot of countries, including Italy but not Greece. I’ll be traveling in late fall.I have some room in my itinerary. I wasn’t planning on traveling to Greece, but I like the idea of a free “cruise”-like experience. But, since I have this pass, I’m wondering if I should do this with the ferries? My question is, what are the ferries like? If I have the opportunity to use them for free, is it worth making room in my itinerary for it?
My pass is until Oct 29, and I just booked my last train on Oct 29 and it’s Night Jet so it will arrive onOct 30. Should I book again?
I have tried entering my rail pass number numerous times without success and can’t get past that step to book / reserve a seat on a train from Florence to Torino. Any advice? I’ve tried multiples of combinations or other numbers that they might accept…super frustrating!
I’m planning to go from France to Switzerland, is it possible to sit faster route but not paying for the reservation fee.
HiI'm planning a trip to Spain and Portugal next week. I tried to make the reservation for a train Montpellier (France) - Madrid (Spain) with the company Renfe but I saw that it's not possible on the interrail website and that I should go to a train station. And that's what I did. But there, they explained me that I can't book that train from France, since It's a spanish company and that I can only do it in a spanish train station. But how am I suppose to book the train in a spanish station if it's leaving from France ? Can anyone explain me how I should proceed ? Is it possible to make this reservation ?Thank you very much
I'm planning to go from London to paris with Eurostar provider, may I know what is the cheapest way to buy a ticket? Or is there any way to do free of charge.
I just bought 15 days continuous pass. But I just to start travelling at 16th November, it means that my interail pass will only start counting the 15 days from the day that I register in Rail Planner?
I read on interrail.eu, ‘More often than not, you need to make advance reservations for trains in Spain’. Is this true? Is it usually not possible to travel in Spain without seat reservations? Is the Interrail app information reliable where this is concerned? How can I find Spanish trains where it is not necessary to have a seat reservation?
Hello, I have bought an interrail pass for 4 (2 adults + 2 children) and I would like to plan my trip to Spain for the Christmas holidays. But at the moment rail planner is not offering tickets for sale for these dates (between 27 December and 7 January), it seems that it's too early. The problem is that the trains are on sale on the websites of the national companies (SNCF and Renfe).I read on the forum that you can book via the national companies but I can't see how to book an interrail pass, they only offer to buy tickets at the normal price, as if you didn't have a pass... I can wait for the rail planner to offer them but by then the trains will be full. I'm afraid that time will go by and I won't be able to book any more journeys because everything will be full. Can you please tell me what to do? I'm getting very stressed about having a pass that I can't use. I thought it would be simple and that once I'd bought the pass it wouldn't be complicated to book seats, but I feel complet
Gracias.Un saludo,Eugene
Hi Community, good day! I will be travelling to Europe this December for the first time and I purchased a Eurail pass for 4 days in 1 month. I am trying to book my seat reservation on b-europe but it is giving me an error message as shown below. Tried searching for the “conditions” they are referring to but to no avails. Would be super grateful if anyone know how I can get around this please?
I tried to book my trip from Paris to Nice but Cannot. I always got error. I saw a lot of people having same issue, need to call them but I can’t. I probably need to cancel and get refund if reservation can not make. But there is 50 euro fee taken….
I have a Eurail Global Pass and wish to book between Amsterdam and Paris on 9th December. I have read that there are limited 10€ seat reservations, otherwise it’s 20€, but when I use the b-europe website I am only seeing 36€ fares - this is with my Eurail 2nd class Pass listed! I have tried a variety of dates to see if it’s a quota thing, but they all seem to be the same. Searches on the Eurail site also min. of approx $56 (AUD). Hoping someone can help clarify!
How do I get to Athens or is that impossible using the Eurail pass because of damaged tracks?
Hi guys, I’m from the Netherlands and now I am studying in England for 4 months. I want to go back to the Netherlands for Christmas somewhere in the lasts weeks of September. Then a week later I have to be back at school for 1 more week of lessons. After that I have to permanently return to the Netherlands. I was looking to buy a pass for three days so I can travel from UK → NL (day 1) back to UK (day 2) and then back to NL (day 3). But a friend of mine told me that the pass will be terminated when you return the country you leave from. So my question is: Is it possible to depart from a country, then get back in that country, and then go back to your home country afterwards even if you already returned to the country you departed from?Of course this will all happen within a monthThank you so much for helping !
New to Eurail. Bought our tickets from Munich to Vienna through the Rail Planner app and when we went to make the seat reservations, I get a message at the end telling me they are sold out. We have a 1st class pass and tried booking 1st and 2nd class seat reservations in any configuration. Any suggestions? Will we get a seat? Or for that matter, will we get on the train? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
The Birthdates for my self and another traveller are listed wrong. I am positive I entered them correctly, but somehow they were changed?I have emailed and contacted eurail via the chat bot several times over the past few months to resolve this issue. But I have not heard or received any help.Does anyone know if having a wrong birthdate listed will affect travel? Our trip is in a few weeks. Thanks!
Hello! My home country is the UK. If I buy the global pass, can I travel from Liverpool to Paris, then Paris back to Liverpool?I’m aware there will be a €36 charge for my seat reservation. But, just wanted to check if the above is ok?I seen somewhere that you’re allowed one outbound journey with the global pass. I will be changing at London though, so will Liverpool to Paris count as one outbound journey? Or will it be counted as two (Liverpool → London → Paris). Thanks for your help!
HelloSo we arrived in Barcelona from Nice today. We decided to make better use of the travel day pass and go into downtown and back before midnight. We took a train out of Barcelo Sants train station. We needed to get off at the first stop. A few issues. The train numbers didn’t match up with our pass and the wickets wouldn’t recognize our QR codes, we ended up following people through. Do our passes work for those local trains? Thx for any help.
I am trying to add a trip on ICE123 from Amsterdam to Frankfurt. The app says that a supplement is needed, but links me to a page about 4 supplements, none of which apply to this trip. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction of which supplement needs to be purchased and where I can do this from? Many thanks
In my app now, I have two trips, one from earlier this year and one I just returned from.I think it’s nice to save old trips, since it can be used to remember what happened, etc, but it’s also a bit more work for each new leg, since I had to choose which trip to add it to.Can I remove old trips from the app, but save the contents somewhere else (typically cloud)? My interrail.eu account only seems to hold old passes, not the actual trips.
estou prestes a passar 2 messes viajando pela Europa de trem. apenas que não fiz itinerário algum eu ganhei a viagem um dia atras e daqui 3 dias e a viagem alguém tem algumas recomendações.
Hello, I am a Dutch student which is going to study in Germany. Because I'm required to do so I will be a registered resident in Germany as well as in the Netherlands. I want to use public transport often when I am in Germany so I would probably like to buy a global pass for the time being. However, I would also sometimes like to travel back to my home in the Netherlands with the European Sleeper nighttrain. Because I am registered in both countries, I would like to know if it would be possible to buy an additional Benelux Pass (as a German resident) and a Global pass (as a Dutch citizen) so that I can use my inbound/outbound trip of my global pass later? I don't know if this is practical, however, I would just like to know if it would be allowed to make a seat reservation at the European Sleeper nighttrain with a Benelux pass together with a Global pass so that I don't have to use my inbound/outbound trip yet.
Our trip is as follows: Need to know if this is achievable and we can find tickets and reservations. Also regarding hotels when do we book them. Do we confirm tickets first then book the hotels?
