The reason I ask is that I’m trying to make some reservations from Paris to Rome on that day. Ideally changing trains in Turin or Milan.We can get a reservation that morning as far as Turin or Milan, but train services past that seem to be nigh on unbookable.No reservations available south of these cities, and very few paid tickets of any form - nothing high speed at all.The message against the services listed is:“Prices unavailableNo price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.”It seems to be the situation for the Saturday (11/11) and Sunday (12/11) where this is in full effect too.Tried the OBB site and they don’t have anything at all - message against all services is “Ticket Not Available”

Hey, I have another question regarding inbound/outbound. On one day during my trip I wanna go from Vaduz to Hallstatt. On the way there I am crossing Germany (my home country) without leaving the train. Does that already count as inbound/outbound or just when I am going to Germany and staying there for at least one night?Thank you!!

When planning a trip on the Eurail website, it adds an extra travel day.  I clicked London as a destination and then Paris as I want to travel from London to Paris.  It says that is two travel days.  

Journey from Firenze S.M.N. to Rome Airport Fuumicino on Eurail reservation site showed two journey options:Firenze S.M.N. to Roma Termini with 16 minutes to catch another train to Rome airport. However, the site shows ‘Some conditions apply’ that second class Eurail Pass holders need to buy a separate ticket to board the Rome Termini to Rome Airport train. The resevation fee  for the train from Firenze S.M.N. to Roma Termini is 15 euros. Firenze S.M.N.to Roma Tiburtina with 17 minutes to catch another train to Rome Airport. The train from Roma Tiburtina to Rome Airport showed ‘You’re ready to board’. The reservation fee for the train from Firenze S.M.N.to Roma Tiburtina is 15 euros.So I understand -Firenze S.M.N. to Rome Airport Fuumicino via Roma Termini will cost 15 euros plus the price of ticket from Rome Termini to Rome Airport, whatever that is. Dear all,I am having a Global Interrail pass for 5 days of travelling in one month.I reserved a seat for the ÖBB Nightjet from Zagreb to Stuttgart in the ÖBB app by choosing 'single tickets/day tickets' and selecting 'Interrail/Eurail - Globalpass' discount. On the received ÖBB ticket, the following is stated: 'Fahrschein + Reservierung'. So does this mean that this ÖBB ticket is all I need to board or do I need to use one of my travel days in the Interrail app as well?And what about a trip during the day in Slovenia (from Postojna to Ljubljana)? I can buy a single ticket and use the interrail discount in the ÖBB app for this as well. Will this save me a travel day in the Interrail app?Thank you in advance.Kind regards,Frank

Hello, I have 2 questions. How does it work with the travel day when traveling overnight? Will I lose 2 travel days in that case? Second question: I have one day for entering the country and one day for leaving the country. However, if my hometown isn't reachable via a direct route, how many transfers are allowed during the inbound journey?

Hi everyone! I buy an Interrail pass, the 22 days in a month global one.I leave France the 17th of august, and today it’s my 5 days of trains journey, we are the 26th of august.But when I go on my pass, it’s writing “13 days left”…I’m confused. Does it mean I need to be back in France in 13 days??Because I just arrived in Finland, and I have so much left to see.I was expected that I can take the train for 22 days, and be free.If someone can light my candle <3

Hi, Me and my boyfriend are first timers. We are going from the netherlands to italy. Now we booked our train from dösseldorf to munich and our nighttrain from munich to padova. We have a small overtake of 9min. So that makes me nervous. Is there any way i can see where the train enters and leaves the station in munich so we can prepare where to go to?  Thank in advance.   

Good morning/evening, my son(18)  and I are planning a trip with flying into Amsterdam, Netherlands mid September, from Canada, and will be there for a few days. We then plan on going to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt, in that order, with stays of 3-4 days at each place. I’m not sure what ‘pass’ or combination of ‘passes’ makes the most sense so we can travel from city to city and still use the local transit system in each location. Thanks for your help! 

Hi everyone, I’m new to Interrail so I still have a few questions. Ofcourse i’ve read the interrail user guide. This guide says that I’ll need to add my pass first. After that I need to activate my pass by choosing my first travel day. Once that’s done, I need to choose a journey and save it to my trip, then I can connect it to my pass. This is the part that I understand. I’ve been reading some different topics on the community site and I’ve read somewhere that it’s advised to use the national train app from the country I’m travelling in. But how does that work with choosing a train? For example: if i connect a journey to my pass in the interrail app and it’s a train from Naples to Rome and it leaves at 10:40 and arrives at 12:00. When and how is it advised to use the Italy train app itself? If I pick a train from the Italy train app, how will the train people (??)  know I’m using the train with my interrail pass. also: I’ve seen some advices about seat reservations via another site. B

Can someone please double check my work?  I’m not seeing any direct trains on 9/28 from Prague to Munich?   Is it possible they are all sold out?   Just seems odd to me.   I know I can’t make reservations until 30 days out but it’s weird that they aren’t even showing to purchase a regular ticket.

Hi, I have just returned from an interrail trip during which I used 2 of my 3 inboud/outbound days and 6 of my 7 travel days. Do you know if it is possible to use my last travel day and my last inboud/outbound day, for example, as part of a short day trip to a neighbouring country, or is this contrary to the interrail principle, given that I have already returned home?Thank you in advance for your answers and best regards, Lucie

Hi, I’d like to travel from Budapest to Berlin on the night train on 17 October 2023 but on the Hungarian website the night trains from 1 October onwards say they are ‘full’. On other countries’ websites it just says ‘not available’ It seems unlikely that they’re full. I’m worried it’s because of engineering works but can’t find any information. Hi everyone,We have a Eurail Global Pass first class.I was trying to book Zurich Main Station to Milano Central (among other tickets) on the OBB website and have accidentally booked this leg as second class when we wanted to select first class.The ticket trip is to be on 14/09/2023 around 9am for 2x adults with Eurail Global Pass first class. Ideally we wanted the 9.33am train via Lugano. I didn’t realise that you can cancel reservations within 3mins of booking so I can’t cancel now, but I was hoping to just re-reserve first class seats and pay again for the reservation. It says on the app the train from Zagreb to ljubliana needs a seat reservation that is free how does that work? I also just got a train from bled to Zagreb that went through ljubliana that had no reservation. So I'm confused as to whether or not I need to buy a ticket.
