Get ready to travel

Hi everyone, I’m new to Eurail and haven’t used the app before either.We are two very confused travelers and I’d love any help and input! Please disregard my naivety with some of this.My questions are: We bought two 1st class 10 day passes. We have both downloaded the Railplanner app. I have created a Journey called Europe 2023 within which I am going to add the trips to and then duplicate it over to my partners pass on his Railplanner app. My questions are: When searching in Railplanner app this seems to be searching for 1 traveler only but we want to reserve seats for two. When I click to reserve seats it directs me to the Eural website where I can input for 2x travelers. Is this correct? Should I be adding the trip to Railplanner which only seems to be myself, and then reserving the seats for 2x travellers? When reserving seats, as we have the 1st class tickets, is there no option to choose seats? So, we have a spot reserved but cannot choose where we are sitting? If I go ahead and

Hello I am dyslexic and the information on any website is always a little overbearing and I am seeking for an agent to help me with a return trip to Malaga from London which is £900 on Trainline.This site gives me the impression a Eurail Pass would be cheaper, but I’ve no idea on any restrictions with regard to it’s use etc and would feel more comfortable speaking to an agent to ensure my planned journey & times are covered… The Chatbot is not engineered to identify any neurodiverse keywords and is unable to help me. Thank you  

I bought a ticket from brussels midi to London st Páncreas International, which required a seat reaervation.Do I need to activate a day of my Interrail Global Pass (10 days in 2 months) during that journey or is it enough with the train ticket and showing that I have an Int Global Pass? 

Hello friends,I have a few questions. First I want to know whether this seven days in one month flexi pass represents the month by consecutive 30days from any starting date or this one month represent Jan, Feb. and so on, if anyone starts his journey on 29th September the will it last on 28th October or 30th September? I have bought one such pass and haven’t activated yet but have booked some paid reservations. I will activate it before our journey. will it be okay? Does one travel day mean 00:01 am to 11:59 pm on the same day? what’s the process of activation and how will it work? other than eurail is anything extra covered in eurail mobile pass?

Before starting my question, let me tell you that I’m from Korea, and this is my first time to use Eurail pass, so there could be some problems with my English and informations of Eurail pass. I am planning a trip to Wool from West Ealing at October 21 with my Eurail pass,and the train from Waterloo to Wool shows like this.  “You're ready to boardYou can buy a seat reservation if you like but it's not required.Not available from Eurail.comThis seat reservation can’t be booked on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book.” Does that mean I can take a train to Wool from Waterloo without any problem using my pass?It’s just that I can’t reserve a seat with it, right?And if I can take the train with my pass, Can I just sit at any vacant seat? I tried to reserve a seat in National Rail, and in Trainline, just to make sure my seat.I could reserve a seat in there, but it starts with about 78£. I didn’t know tickets would be that expensive.So, if I am able to take a train wit

Hi,I am living in Germany on the border to France and have the 10 days in 2 months global pass.Now my question, I would like to travel to one specific destination in Germany for which I have to take several trains. After that, my plans are to drive to France and than take a train, which is starting in France, to drive to Spain.Does anybody know if this would be possible? Personally I think it is but I am not sure.

Trying to book the direct train (1hr 56min)  from Brig to Milano Centrale on Oct 15th - i see thats available the day after and before that but not on Oct 14th and 15th.  Can anyone tell me why its not available on that date, thanks.

Hey! :) I will be travelling to Finland in september but I was wondering if the Interrail App shows the departure time of trains there in MEZ or in MEZ +1 (finnish local time). I couldn‘t find anything about it on the internet so maybe someone here knows?It is important for my journey because I have another train in sweden which i have to catch (but that wouldn‘t work depending on the time if it would not be in MEZ).I appreciate your help!

Good day, I realized there was a mistake in my OBB reservation from Rome to Milan, I had paid for 1st class reservations even though my interrail is only 2nd class. What should I do?

Is there any trains from Zadar ? We are planning to take a trip from Zadar to Zagreb? Or how to reach it?  Our trips plan is Zadar (1day) - Ljubljana (few hours) - Salzburg (sleep over) - Prague (few hours) - Berlin (sleep over) - Hamburg (few hours) - Amsterdam.  Any corrections ?   Also it's our first time. Are we suppose to show QR code of ticket to the person who are checking tickets? Or how it's happening?

Hello!Has anyone travelled from Athens to Igoumenitsa (ferry station)? Apparently there are no trains available for that route, so what would be the most logical option? I would assume some sort of train + bus combo, but where should I take the train to from Athens? I’ve been searching and checking and found some options, but just wondering if there is a “standard” route many take. :)Thank you!

Ich hoffe, ihr könnt uns weiterhelfen! Unsere Tochter fährt morgen früh mit ihrer Freundin von Neapel über Mailand nach Zürich, um von dort weiter nach Leer, Ostfr. zu fahren. Die Reise ist gebucht mit allen notwendigen Reservierungen. Jetzt haben wir die Info, dass es Probleme auf der Strecke sowohl über den Brenner als auch dzrch den Gotthard-Tunnel gibt. Hi,We will be flying into Milano arriving at 11:00 AM. My hope is that we can take a train to Tirano in time to Get on the Berina Express to St. Moritz.  Is this possible?  Some sites show the last train out at 15:54, others show a 17:40 available.  Our travel date is October 6th.So confusing for an American to understand train travel… I wish we had a better train network in the United States!

Hi everyone, so i managed to connect my mobile passes to my outbound trip (1st travel day of 7) ready for activation on the day of my travel. And i also prepared the route for the next trips which will be the 2nd travel day and 3rd travel day but on different dates.QUESTION- How do i connect my mobile passes to those i have prepared already? (I swear i forgot how i managed to do the first). Please help what and how and best way to use this planner. Many thanks!

We have never traveled by rail before let alone with the rail pass. When evaluating rail passes months ago, it appeared that a 10 day flexible pass would be our best option because I assumed that the rail pass worked for all trains, per the list of countries it says it covers.  So we purchased it and the train tickets for the first leg from Paris to Strasbourg because we were concerned about getting seats. However, now that we are ready to commit to other trains, we are finding that we need to reserve seats, which have to be done at the train station and according to the Rail Planner App some of the trains are “Not in the Pass Network”.We also want to use gondolas and tourist trains in Switzerland. So now I’m wondering the global flex pass was the wrong thing to buy.If it doesn’t make sense, can I cancel the train reservation made and get a refund for the rail pass and what would you recommend instead?  HELP PLEASE!  9/6 - Paris  to Strasbourg to Grindelwald9/11 - Grindelwald to Kander

Hello.I want to travel from East Anglia to Central Europe via the Eurostar. To get to the Eurostar, I have to use 2 standard trains and get the tube (not covered by Interrail) to St Pancras Station for the Eurostar.Would the 2 connecting train trips, with a gap in the middle, and a trip on the Eurostar all count as one outbound trip, or would I have to buy the first section separately and then only use my outbound day for the Eurostar?The trip is all planned for the same day, and I do need to return home afterwards ( thought that will all count as one journey as all trains are connected that time) Thank you(the tube is annoying) 

Hi hoping for your help again!  We have been unable to book a reservation from Barcelona through to marseille tomorrow. We tried at a station in Spain and on the Eurail app. We are happy to take the non reservation route but just need advice re Cerbere  the tenge doesn’t show it stops  there but the Eurail app says change there but have to use public transport. So a little confused. Any advice for the journey Barcelona to Marseille tomorrow would be very appreciated. ( we have to go to marseille as our train to Paris is booked from there) thanks 😊 

Hi folksI will start with to teenagers in Monday.  Made a reservation and was not informed I cannot change it.  From Switzerland to Italy.  Have you experience of in practice the ticket control will accept it when we are in the earlier train?
