Aplication Railplanner writes seat reservation recommendet. I pay 10 € for my reservation. My question is should i have pay?Ciaoi have a Global pass

Hello, we will be travelling from Antwerp Central to Frankfurt… there is a change trains stop in Brussels Nord from an IC 4531 to an ICE 15, which is a 5 minutes change time.  I am wondering if 5 minutes is enough to get from one train to the other?  Like would they be on the same track or would we have to walk across the station?  Is there a way to find out where certain trains stop and start within each station? Thanks!

I want to travel with the TGV 9552 von Mannheim to Paris Est with the one country pass France. Until which stop do I have to have another ticket?

Hello!We are traveling from London to Paris and then throughout Germany. I have not bought our passes yet and have a few questions - Where it says seat reservations required with an amount, is that the extra amount we will pay to ride that train on top of the global pass, correct?  We cannot use the Global Pass throughout London and Paris, correct? We are only stay a couple of days each there and I assume using the city transportation. If I am using the app and I check ‘Interrail/Eurorail Pass network only’ then I can see the exact trains we can use this for, correct? It’s showing I can use it throughout Germany, correct? Thank you!!! 

It is my first time using online bookings, so I’m not sure about things, so I’ve got questions  I’ve reserved seats only, and it doesn’t give me any QR or anything unlike my previous bookings like Eurostar or SNCF. Do I just use the Eurail pass QR when I get on the train, and when they require I show the Eurail pass and the seat reservation code? I’ve made bookings with both “anytime single” and “advance single”. Is it ok, ie, does the pass work with both booking types? I cannot modify the seats on the train time or date, or even the seats. Am I not supposed to be able to change or cancel the reservation at all? What happens if I reserve a seat and actually don’t get on the train, like with unexpected delays prior to the ride? Will there be any penalities? Thank you very much.

I activated my pass and then started making reservations. However, as there are two of us travelling, I wanted to add the second pass first.How can I do that?Also, I would like to know how to get the seat reservation. I was able to book the ticket but no reservation was shown.Thank you 

Hello,We’ll be going from Munich to Budapest on a night train.  If we are a family of 4 (a 9-year-old and 11-year-old), I assume that the train company will include 2 other travellers in our 6 passenger night train.  How safe is this?  Is there a chance that in mid-September that the trains are not so full and we’d have a car to ourselves?  How likely would that be?Thanks!-A.J.

Hello, My girlfriend and I bought 2 passes to travel around.We would travel tomorrow. 28.7 at 9 p.mI got to add my pass to my phone. She tried and got the error “Something went wrong”.After many tries. I tried it on my phone where I previously added my pass. I also get the Same error.Name and Passnumber are right. App is up to date and I have an Android 13.Gregorian Calendar is also active.My Device-Id is CA245F06

Hello,We are planing a vacation that starts on 20th August. If we buy 22 days travel pass can we do seat reservation although our travel will start on 20th August ?Or do we have to buy 15 days in 2 months travel pass?Thank you :)

Hello! Some disclaimers before I ask the questions:first time traveler to europe purchased a 4 day 1st class Global pass. Used two days already by purchasing seat/reservation on ÖBB after selecting the inter rail/Eurail pass to the “discounts” section plan to use the 3rd day on 30th or 31st July for a round trip from Bern to Jungfraugoch, but very confused if/how to go about it.  traveling with family (and older people) so want to make sure I have reservations. In case things get crowded, at least the young and the old won’t be stressing about seating. trying to book the tickets via the SBB app. So my questions are:1. What I haven’t figured out is how to “add/apply” my Eurail Global pass to my SBB profile. The only options I see are the Swiss Pass, Half-fare card or the GA travel card. Should I just select the GA travel card? Or is there any other way to select the Global pass?2.  I had read somewhere that the Global pass gives 25% discounts on the Interlaken to Jungfraugoch part of th

Moin,ich hatte meine Rückfahrt am Samstag geplant gehabt und hatte schon eine gute Route. Ich wollte dann etwas in der DB anschauen und es fiel mir auf das dieser IC 60470 ein Nachtzug ist. Ich hatte die Route extra genommen gehabt weil ich keine Sitzplatzreservierungen unternehmen möchte. Ist das notwendig für den NJ jetzt noch eine Reservierung zu buchen oder kann ich auch ohne einsteigen? (Ich kann zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt keine mehr buchen)  LG

I’m going to travel in Europe next month, but my friend can’t activate Eurail pass. There are 3 steps to activate it.But third step, when she chooses the date to start our trip (10/08/2023), it says that “This date is in the past. Please choose a date in the future to start your trip.” We already contacted customer center but the answer wasn’t precise. If anyone knows about it please kindly help us.Thank you.

Hi everyone,  I plan on going to France in August with the pass France-Germany. For travels inside Germany, I do not have to pay anything, but do I have to book a seat? If I do not book a seat, does it mean that I can get on the train for sure? If I want to go to France on the 12th of August and come back on the 3rd of September, can I still book the tickets and seats right away? Thanks for your help, Best,

Hello, I am travelling to Italy for 10 days. I am a Student in Germany but an Indian Passport holder. Which pass is legal for me? I am not sure if i am considered EU resident or not? Also, does the pass also include the public transport in various cities i visit ? I am planning to buy a Italy pass and access the trains for one city to another and use public transport within the cities. Please suggest what is the best to buy for such a thing. So trying to be chilled about all this but the day before we depart I still can’t add in some trains that I know are running and have reservations on but can’t add them into the app. 22:17 on 30/7/23 from Cologne to Munich - exists on Nighjet site and bahn.de I have a reservation.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​21:27 on 4/8/23 from Vienna to Venice - exists on Nighjet site and bahn.de, I have a reservation.The sleeper trains were fine in the app last year and actually our 3rd sleeper has been on there for months, do I just add it manually and get back to the packing?Cheers

Hi there,im planning a longer Trip on a specific day with multiple train changes. I’ll need to get reservations for some trains. So far, so good.What could I do, if i miss one of the trains that require a reservation due to delay of a previous train?I would have to take the next train, but i wont have a reservations for that one and probably it will be full already. Do I have to switch to trains that don’t require reservations in that case?Thanks for advices.

I’m trying to book two journeys for September for 5 people:Depart Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor: 19:38Arrive Lesce Bled Station:22:47And on a separate day:Depart Lesce Bled: 22:49Layover: Villach Hbf 23:48 (1hr 46mins)Arrive Genova Piazza Principe: 09:08Both journeys say seat reservation required but then they won't let me book so basically I can’t book the journeys. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so do they have any advice?Thank you
