Hello! I'm planning to travel Hamburg (*edit Hamburg, not Munich!) to Copenhagen with train IC390 (usually a direct train between Hamburg and CPH). Due to construction work on the Danish railway there is a change to a replacement bus and then a change to a regional train.IC390 from Hamburg to FredericiaReplacement bus from Fredericia to SlagelseIC60408 From Slagelse to CopenhagenThe train departures from Hamburg at 23:56 so the changes will be the day after. Will these changes count for an extra travel day or could I add the whole trip manually and only use one travel day?  

Hello 😊With my girlfriend, we are traveling around the Easter Europe. We wanted to book a night-train between Budapest and Bucharest and we don't know how to connect the pass Interrail on the Hungarese train website.When we choose the trip on the Interrail App, it's 5€ but on the Hungarese website, we see we have to pay 60€ ... Sorry for my English and thank you in advance ! Have a nice day 😊

Hi there,I traveled the NJ295 from Munich to Ancona, departure date 24 July. It was delayed by  (OOPS ANOTHER EDIT -)135 minutes (!!). I am now trying to file for compensation, but I cannot find the train anywhere on log websites. The problem is (maybe?) that this train usually travels to Rome, so the systems have maybe not been adapted to this. Does Interrail have train log files that they will consult or is proof all on me? I stupidly forgot to take pictures of the situation (can't remember the exact time of arrival as I was in a hurry getting off with two kids..)Also, when filling out the file, does departure date count on the form or arrival date (which suffered the delay)? Edit: I was looking for compensation for my seat reservationon the ÖBB site - it reports the train without any delay! Oh no!! How can that happen??Thanks!!

I’ve purchased a first class pass and am trying to book a seat reservation from Barcelona-Sants to Alicante Termino on 17/08/23 at 10:15am, but the aural website is only showing 2nd class reservations available. Does this mean first class is sold out?Can I used my first class pass with a second class reservation?Thanks!

Hi I have booked and reserved seats from Florence to Interlaken west with a train change from Milano P garibaldi to then Milano Centrale to Spiez then Spiez to Interlaken west. tickets have been sent to me for all except Spiez to Interlaken west. I have no ticket. I’d this right ? Is the ticket to Spiez valid through?or do I have to pay for this once I arrive?the app shows me all the way through on my Trip with ticket activated.   

I have a 1st class pass.  Can I book second class on Eurostar? Has anyone here done it?

I have booked a seat reservation on the eurostar. I have a first class global ticket but I have booked a second class seat reservation however I am worried as on the reservation ticket it says Holder of valid Eurail/Interrail Pass Second Class only. does this mean that my first class pass is not valid and only a second class pass is valid?

It seems that you can’t book a train from Olsztyn in Poland to Berlin in Germany with Interrail. For the past two months, the interface has told me that “maybe” there was no seats available anymore for Pass owners. But also that I needed to wait 30 days before the trip scheduled date for trains in Poland to become available. Now I am 30 days before the trip, and still I get the same message. It would be more honest to say that they don’t support some trips. Which makes the Pass much less advantageous.

Can I buy the ticket online so they send it by email and I print it as I only got a laptop and no apps mobile?The option of them sending it to my adress will take 10 days+ and I am in England!???  

Hello everyone,Is it possible to travel on the weekends only? I have a global-interrail pass (1 month) but can only travel on the weekends. So could I technically not use my interrail pass (and the Deutschlandticket instead) to travel to the borders, and just say that I start from the neighbouring country? Or is any way of returning (even if its not saved in my pass) to my COR violating the terms of the pass? Or maybe I just pretend to stay at border station (outside of COR) and then “continue” my travel later, within the 1-month period?Thank you!!Anil

Hi,On my first travel day I have several journeys in my trip as I am taking 2 trains in the UK to get to London before boarding the Eurostar, then a final journey from Paris to Strasbourg (all on the same day). Do I need just 1 QR code for all those journeys and therefore I add those journeys to my pass at the same time, or is it ok to add them individually & presumably do I then get a QR code for each journey?Thanks

I accidentally wrote the wrong birth place for the reservation of a train of Trentitalia. But the birth place is not printed on the train ticket. So does it matter or should I get in contact with them to correct the given data?Thank you a lot!

Hi,I want to travel from my homecountry Germany to Italy, which takes longer than a day. The problem is, that the app forces me to use both trips in my homecountry for this one trip.Is there anything I can do about that?Thanks 

I am trying to get to Paris from the Netherlands. Would I need to buy a global pass for just a one way trip to Paris from the Netherlands?

Hello,I am traveling to Italie soon with friends, and I got us the interail 3 day pass. We are leaving from Switzerland and our first train goes from Brig to Milano, however I am unsure if my interail Italie pass covers this first trip. I called the CFF and the lady told me I need a ticket from Brig to the first Italien stop (Domodossola) because the pass is only valide IN italie. But on the interrail app it doesn’t seem to tell me I need an extra ticket… What should I do?

Hello,We allready made a reservations boatpanoramaexpress (boat and gotthardtrain) direction Lucerne to Lugano and seatservation for 2 adults 29-07-2023. How do we add this yourney in the interrailapp? Do we have to do t his manually? The  journey does not exist in the interrailplanner.

Bonjour, J'ai effectué le 24 juillet 2023 un trajet de Copenhague (départ 7h40 avec 5 changements) à Amsterdam. Le train de Hamburg-Harburg (départ 14h58) à Duisburg Hbf (arrivée 18h10) était en retard de 25min. Nous sommes arrivées à 18h35 à Duisburg Hbf. J'ai donc raté ma correspondance de Duisburg Hbf (départ 18h26) à Amsterdam Centraal (arrivée 20h29). J'avais réservé une place dans ce train et j'aimerais savoir si je peux me faire rembourser le train à grande vitesse ? Si oui, comment ? J'ai effectué ma réservation directement avec le site interrail. J'ai pu rejoindre Amsterdam en prenant 2 trains.. sans réservation donc gratuit avec mon pass Interrail mais j'arrive 1h après à Amsterdam. Merci. Cordialement.

I have a global pass for second class and I bought seat reservations for first class. I wasn’t aware my interrail ticket had a specific class, so I was moved from the 1 class ticked I bought. i already booked several 1 class seat reservations, is there any way I can change them to second class? I already paided. 

Durante mi viaje interrail, puesto que durante un mismo día puedo coger todos los trenes que quiera, voy a aprovechar para coger trenes que circulen por una misma ciudad para moverme por ella (ejm Berlín Hbf - Berlín Ostbahnhof): . Tengo el pase Interrail impreso y me gustaría saber cómo es la forma correcta de apuntar cada trayecto en el pase o si no es necesario hacerlo. 

I am looking to travel from Barcelona to Cadiz on the 2nd of August and back on the 6th of August.So far I could get reservations online for part of the trip on the Eurail site but for other parts it was sold out or not possible to reserve.-So I was wondering if I could either book a ticket somewhere online for parts of the trip that I could not reserve? and what site you would recommend for this? I saw for example “Thetrainline’ but am not sure if I could trust it or if there are better sites. -or how I could find a (regional) train that is not needed to reserve from Sevilla to Cadiz ( this part is the hardest to find reservations for)

Hi,This is my first time Interrailing and while the opportunity is fantastic, I’m finding the organisation rather stressful and often nebulous. I am also doing my planning rather last minute as I decided to join someone on short notice so I don’t have a lot of time.I am planning a trip from Geneva to Tbilisi (Georgia), starting next Friday (14/07). I will be going from Turkey to Georgia by bus, but doing all the previous bits on my Interrail pass. Two questions :I need to book Budapest > Bucharest on the 15/07 either at 15h10 (ideal) or 11h10 (changing trains in Arad). The Interrail site is only offering me a paper ticket which I am too late to get. I have tried going through the MAV website, I found an Interrail discount (Bérlet (pl.interrail) ) so I thought I could book this way, however I noticed the prices given are the same with and without the discount…. Is my only option really to book in a train station ? I will have hours to do so in Budapest, how likely is it I may be conf

When I bought seat reservations for my wife and I on Eurail website, the trip I created appeared. When I selected that trip, both our names appeared. I proceeded to reserve seats for both of us. I had bought seat reservations for few journeys such as London to Paris and Paris to Berlin. I have not added any journey on the website or done anything else on the website.I am in the process of setting up Eurail Planner mobile app. I had added my pass and selected the trip I created. I skip step 3 on activation. I had added my wife’s pass on the same device. When I was about to connect a trip for her, I selected the same trip I created and selected for myself and was warned that trip has been used by me and I could create a copy or have a trip with different name. What should I do?How to add a journey? The mobile app set up video on Eurail was not helpful. I came across few YouTube clips but they were not specific at setup from scratch.I welcome any advice including YouTube or website links
