Get ready to travel

I have a reservation for the eurostar from London to Paris next Saturday. The reservation I have paid for is for the 09.24 train. However there is not a departure at that time any more, its at 09.31. The number of the 09.31 train is the same as it is on the reservation for the 09.24 train so I'm assuming they have altered the timetable. I haven't had an email. Do you think I need to do anything?

I bought a 15 day Interrail Global Pass with unlimited rides. Unfortunately, I made a mistake when entering the time period of my trip when creating my passport in the app and only entered a period of 14 days. Now it is also displayed to me that my ticket would expire after 14 days. How can I set the period and thus the validity of my ticket to 15 days?     

I went to book a seat reservation from Vienna to Krakow and it wants me to pay $10 to send a paper copy to my home address which is pointless as I am already in Europe, is there a way I can get it emailed to me instead and avoid paying the $10. I have booked seat reservations in the past and haven’t had this issue 

Hello.I have activated my pass, created an itinerary and added trip segments ("journeys") to the itinerary. I have also indicated travellers and the respecive passcodes, and reserved seats on trains that require seat reservations. Some of the transactions were completed on the Eurail.com site on my desktop. When I look at my Rail Planner app, it said 0 of X days used. Looking over the help section, it said to add the journey segment in the app. When I tried to add the journey, I just see a list and no button to add the journey. Am I booked on all segments of a journey? One journey goes from Amsterdam to York, where I do have reserved seats on the Thalys, Eurostar and Express portions of the journey. The first segment of the journey that connects us to the Thalys did not require seat reservations so I have not reserved any.How do I reserve spots on the first train (where seat reservations are not necessary) if I am not already booked? HelloI have 4 passes on my old phone and want to transfer them to a new device. They have not been activated. I have read lots of your wonderful advice so feel confident that I can do this. However if I do this will 'My Trip' be visible on the new phone or will I have to do all that again?Thank you lovely travellers 

We are a group of 4 travelers that all have Eurail passes.  We are trying to make seat reservations together.  We have 2nd class passes but might want to upgrade to First Class for certain legs of our trip.  Is there an easy way to do that?

How can I access my past trip data ?

Hi,I’ve bought seat reservations by using interrail’s seat reservation tool for a trip between Venice and Vienna. The information on interrail’s website says that the supplement will be included in the seat reservation, and that “supplement included” will be printed on the ticket. However, this is not the case on my tickets as “supplement included” is not printed anywhere. Do I need to buy the additional supplement separately or is it included in the ticket despite “supplement included” not being printed on it?

Since the website says the 6-Day pass is a “paper pass”, I’m wondering if I will get hassle at the Greek ticket/ferry stations for using the mobile app to collect my tickets and board the ferries. If anyone has experience or can speak on whether I should be fine to collect my tickets at the Greek ferry stations with just the app and online reservations, would appreciate your help!

Is that all included in the pass or do I have to pay more?Thank you

Hi some months ago I reserved seats on a Regio  Jet train from Prague to Bratislava for 29/6/23. I just want to confirm that I can use my  Global Rail pass as I cannot find the trip in the planner and was reading sometime people have a problem  Will I have to manually add it. Thank you

 I have the global pass impress, and I wanted to know about the train transfer like, for example: I want to go from Bologna to Salzburg, and the option without reservations is doing 3 transfers; In the Mytrip section in the pass, I have to aim the transfers in the same day as trips?

Hi, What benefits can I have when I buy first class in Interrailkort? 

I am traveling tomorrow from Munich (Pasing) to Rotterdam (Centraal). The journey is 8h 18min long with 3 change-overs. I am using Eurail Global Pass for my journey and it does not shoes need for any reservation:Munchen-Pasing to Duesseldorf Hbf - 0837 to 1310 Duesseldorf Hbf to Arnhem Centraal - 1326 to 1513 Arnhem Centraal to Utrecht Centraal - 1532 to 1607 Utrecht Centraal to Rotterdam Centraal - 1618 to 1655I wanted to ask:Should I follow the default route being given by RailPlanner app or is there a alternate/better route available? Is there a requirement to reserve seat for any leg of my  journey?

Hi all!I know there is one inbound and one outbound journey for the global passes, but I’m in a very tricky situation. I live in Belgium and would go to Amsterdam, from there take the Eurostar to London that crosses Belgium. For the eurostar you can not buy separate tickets to travel in Belgium without interrail as far as I know.Would this be allowed or do I need to go around Belgium through Germany to take the Eurostar or travel through Belgium with regular trains, which kind of defeats taking the Eurostar from Amsterdam.Thanks for any answers!

Hi! My family and I are planning to travel to 6:29 Geneva to 9:42 Paris Lyon tomorrow (We’ll be coming from Zermatt). It requires a seat reservation, but I can’t buy it directly from the eurail website. I’ve found the train tickets to other websites such as SNCF and b-europe but the eurail pass isn’t showing up as a discount card. I’ve found thalys and eurostar pass fare website where I can pick the eurail as discount card but Geneva isn’t showing up as a departure station. Please help! I think we can buy the seat reservation on the station based on Eurail but we’re scared that we might have to pay more than $190 for 6 people (the $ showing on eurail for seat reservation). 

I have a Eurail pass, trying to book reservations on Eurail site from Paris St Lazare to Caen,France.I am within 90 days of the booking(SNCF train) I have cleared all filters and have entered different dates,I think I should be able to click on “book reservations” but keep getting message that says, parts of this journey can't be booked with us even though they require res. We suggest you search for alternative train conn.Try filtering results ect.ect. Thanks for any feed back!

Hello there! Im going interrailing for the first time this summer and was curious how the interrailpass works with the public transit in foreign countries. I’ve heard from some people that it works as a pass for public transport such as intercity busses and short train rides while from others ive heard the opposite. I wanted to ask you guys to see what actually is allowed and what isn’t. Thank you all for the help!

Hello travelers, I have been trying to get seats from Paris to Bruges and Amsterdam and back but it has been next to impossible via the Eurail site. Does anyone have advice as to how I can go about getting a seat on a train?I want to travel on July 5 and July 10. I know it is too close but I have been trying for over a month before I got here in Europe.Thank you in advance. 

I bought a 10 day in 2 months global pass through renfe with the 50% discount the currently offer to spanish citizens and residents. However, I am in the Netherlands, so the pass had to be received by my parents and sent through post to my residence here. The Spanish postal service however has once again shown its wonderful ability and lost the envelope. I have reservations to travel on Monday, but I won’t have my physical pass. I have pictures, and I have my ID. I also have the reservations tickets. Can I still travel with these things? Is there a way I can cancel the physical pass and use the app since it is an emergency? Is there a way to get a new global pass in such a short amount of time?Thank you!

I am traveling from Amsterdam (Centraal) to Copenhagen (Taasrup) tomorrow (30 June 2023), with train leaving from Amsterdam at 1710 hrs. My route will be as follows (I have reserved the seats):- Amsterdam Centraal to Osnabruck hbf - 17:10 - 20:54- Osnabruck hbf to Hamburg hbf - 21:23 - 23:16- Hamburg hbf to Hoeje Taasrup - 23:56 to 06:49Now, as I would be starting my journey on 30th June & arriving at Destination on morning of 1st July, would I be required to use 2 'Travel Days' ??In case of only 1, my Eurail will be showing as 'un-activated', if anyone comes to check the ticket/reservation at 00:01?? How to handle that?

Hi everyone :)I am planning on travelling from Wroclaw to Dresden via Zgorzelec. While the DB Navigator says there is a direct regional train from Zgorzelec to Dresden-Neustadt, the Rail Planner does not show me this connection. Instead it wants me to take a train leaving Zgorzelec at 12pm and then transfer in Görlitz and Bischofswerda, while the direct train also departs at the same time. The direct train is the TLX RE1. Does anyone know whether this train is included in the Internation Interrail Pass or not? Thanks for your help!

Hi guys,I am traveling for my outbound journey from Berlin and I need to arrive on that same day in Nantes (France). However, to do so, I need to stop by Paris to take a last train (Paris to Nantes). Will my pass work or will it stop as soon as I arrive to Paris from Cologne, as France is my country of residence?Many thanks!!!
