Hi Interrail communityMy girlfriend and I are going on Interrail for the first time this summer. We will travel by the night train from Zagreb to Split (departure: 22:30 10th of august). We would like to book two beds in a couchette car but that does not seem possible at Interrail.eu? Only seat reservation seems to be available but if we check https://www.hzpp.hr/en it seems like the couchette cars are not sold out. Is it possible to book two beds in a couchette car beforehand somewhere else or is it only possible to book this at the train station in Zagreb?Thank you in advance for answers!/Frederik

Why is credit card information requested for a reservation using Eurail pass?  Is it for the reservation fee?

So, the 3rd of july i’m taking a train directly from Berlin to Gdańsk in Poland. I found the tickets on the Eurail app, but whenever i want to buy the tickets, i have to type in the name of my accommodation/hotel name/ hostel name and it also says that it’s a paper ticket. Does that mean that they are shipping the tickets or do i get the tickets by email and then i have to print them myself??

Hello,so my problem is that I cant reserve any seats between the 1-11 of August, despite the validity period of my pass starting on the 1st of August. Any reservation on the 12th or later is possible. I tried reactivating my pass multiple times to no avail. I always get the message: “Your Pass isn't valid on this date”.I hope anyone can help me, as not even the support seems willing to help (They just say my pass-number isnt even in their system) 

How do I add the first two Journeys (20th June) to my pass so it's only using up one of my travel days? Will I be able to tick both journeys without using up two travel days? Thanks for your help! Tom ​​​​

Im having issues with completing a reservation, it appears that the website at different times keeps showing availability for an intercity train journey monterosso to milan centrale.this shows on the website reservations page both as a 1017 train, and as a 1255 option.But for both when I try to add to cart and then checkout, it wont go through on the checkout page. When i click accept terms of the fare, i eventually then get a red error message one of the legs cant be completed.Other routes seem to complete  but at checkout ask for additional traveller information this route seems to not ask for (i wonder if this is why it bounces at checkout) of country and place of birth. How long does it take for a paper ticket (seat reservation) from Budapest to Ljubljana to arrive in Australia travelling on 26 July but leaving Australia on 20 July is this enough time or can I book at the station when we arrive in Budapest? - Thank you

Hi there my wife and I will be travelling soon from Rome - Florence  - Venice - Interlaken  - Paris - Paris Disney - London. Starting on 24 July in Rome spending only a day in some locations with our final train Paris to London on the 3rd August. would the 7 day in 1 month be the right choice? And would it cover all the destinations? any help appreciated  Regards 

Hi! I’m looking forward to my first Interrail (15 day Global Pass), starting June 26th. I was hoping to take the Euronight Metropol train from Budapest to Prague on July 1st in the afternoon, arriving at Prague on July 2nd at morning. I’ve been looking how to make a seat reservation, yet I can’t find any way to avoid a postal seat reservation. (Booking through the Hungarian page doesn’t offer seat reservations, and same thing for the Czech page).I will be in Vienna, Austria from June 28th until June 30th, but I don’t trust the seat reservation arriving in time. But if I book at the Budapest station on July 1st at morning, I feel like the train is going to be full, what can I do? Shall I book it in Budapest or risk it with the postal seat reservation, or is the another way around it? 

Hi :)I’m trying to make a seat reservations for a journey in italy on oebb.at but it says ticket not available… The journey is IC1517 Bologna Centrale to Firenze Campo di Marte, 16:41 on 30/07. The interrail reservation bookings seems able to be able to book it, and trenitalia shows availability, but öbb, čd, and db all can’t book it… I could just accept the €2 fee :(Thank you!Ru

HelloAfter having purchased my interrail ticket, I am trying to reserve a seat from -Hamburg to Stockholm and-Stockholm to NarvikCurrently it is not possible for the 5-6 of August 2023. I also tried earlier but do not get the option to purchase a place in sleeping car of even a normal seat?Any hint most welcome!Yvan

I have a trip on my Rail Pass that requires a Supplement with a message that I can buy either at the station or onboard.  I do not not have a seat reservation as there has not been any mention of that being required.  Just want to check that it is okay to board and pay on board for the supplement.

Am I guaranteed a seat on a train which does not require a seat reservation?  I do have the trip loaded onto my pass.  Appreciate that I cannot sit in a reserved seat but I just want a seat.

Hi, I’d like to get from Munich to Split from 8.7. to 9.7.There is this wonderful connection: It uses EN1153 but as soon as I login, the sleeper options (a bed) for the reservation are not visible any more. Also, on oebb.at, I cannot find any sleeper options. Does that mean that there are no sleepers available any more? After my supposedly "great" experience last year, I adamantly swore to myself never to use Interrail again. Yet here I am, stuck with a ticket for free courtesy of the Elysee-Contract. If only I had known that it would be another damn Interrail ticket, I wouldn't have even considered accepting it, even though it is for free!And what do you know, I'm facing the exact same issue as before: the absolute impossibility of booking reservations to France. I've exhausted every possible avenue—Interrail.eu, Eurail, sketchy websites, the DB service Point, and even reached out to a supposedly competent DB service point I stumbled upon in a forum. I've wasted more than 10 infuriating hours scouring for reservations, and what do I have to show for it? Absolutely nothing! Even the so-called "competent" service point admitted to encountering errors while attempting to book the reservations.The whole point of the Elysee-Contract is to strengthen the bond between Germany and France. Hi,I am just a little confused about what I will need to do in order to be able to board the train. If anyone is able to advise me I would be most grateful.I have a pass with five travel days. I have activated the pass. As per the advice on this forum, I have not yet activated the travel day. My first travel day is Eurostar, London to Paris - I have seat reservations (and have a physical copy of these).When I get to the station this Sunday, I will activate the travel day. Is there anything else I need to do in order to travel? Do I need to add the journey to my pass, or do the physical seat reservations suffice?

2 adults, 2 kids (11 yo and 14 yo )  going from Costa Brava Spain to Paris on July 3. the one country pass is so much less expensive I’m wondering if there is a way to take a taxi or short train trip to Perpignan and then switch to the fast train? Or any other suggestions? We want to take the fast train and might do first class since its the kids first train ride and could be fun. 

Hi. Having just returned from an amazing 2 month Interail tour of Spain,Portugal,Central and Eastern Europe my mind is turning to the next Interail adventure and Scandinavia in particular. A couple of questions for the group.Would it be more economical to get a global pass as opposed to individual tickets? Does anyone have a 3-4 week rail itinerary starting from Hamburg that covers Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. I’m Looking at doing a small cruise in or around the fjords at some point on the journey. Any thoughts on where best to break the train trip and do this.Any thoughts would be much appreciated.Thanks John

Hi :)I am flying into Tallinn next week and cannot get the Rail Planner app to recognise the towns in between there and Vilnius. Any idea why? I was hoping to go to Parnu, Riga, Daugavpils, maybe Vilnius and possibly Klaipeda. Why is it so difficult?Tip and hints please! I am a solo female traveller in later years so want to get this sorted. I am actually considering cancelling my pass and making my own way as it feels like it would be less stressful.Thanks!
