Get ready to travel

Hi,I wish to make a reservation for the train Wien (24/06/23, 7.42pm) ➩ Bucarest (25/06/23, 3.05pm). I have a 2nd class pass. I wish to make a reservation for a single bed (I saw on the website of the train company that it was possible). Yet this option does not appear. Is it because it is an option not available for eurail ? Is it because it is available for 1st class pass ? If so, how can I change my pass from 2nd class to 1st class ? I did not made any reservation yet so I guess it could be possible ?Thank you very much,Amélie

Hi - can you book a Trenord train in Italy using the Eurail global pass?

Hi,I am wondering if a connecting train after a sleeper train still counts for a single travel day. I wanted to take a direct sleeper from Amsterdam to Zurich, but there were none available on my travel date, so I’m taking a sleeper from Amsterdam to Basel and then a train from Basel to Zurich. Does that count as one travel day?Thanks,Katie

Hi guys. I'm currently planning my trip in August and I'm looking for the right train between Berlin and Prague. I found that the two cities are connected by EuroCity trains, but no reservation is required on the app, even though I read that seat reservations on EuroCity are compulsory. Is that alright or is it a bug of the RailPlanner app? 

HelloI booked my seat reservations online via website. I have now downloaded my Eurail planner and added my pass. Can I get my seat reservations onto my mobile pass? Cheers Kath

I am trying to make a seat only reservation via the DB website for the 6th of June, I keep getting the seat reservations is impossible.When using the eurail planner it says I can only purchase a physical ticket which they also state won’t come in time.I need this ticket for my proof of onward travel out of Germany because I’m flying one way from Australia so buying the ticket in Germany isn’t an option.

I bought a 7 day Global pass with Eurail. I bought several required seat reservations for my trip. Do these required seat reservation take a day off of my 7 day Global Pass?  TIA

i bought 1st class eurail tickets. I have to pay for the 1st class seats too? why did I pay FOR 1ST CLASS IF I DON’T GET THE 1ST CLASS SEATS WITH IT?

I am starting my Eurail pass tomorrow. However, I am unable to view my journey and tickets. 

Yesterday, my wife and I traveled around the Netherlands using day 1 of our passes.  We started and ended at unmanned stations, so simply got on and off the trains.  No conductor ever checked our tickets. I did use my mobile “ticket” a couple times to go out of the station through a turnstyle and then back in.  Tomorrow morning we have planned a trip to travel to Paris.  But when I try to add the appropriate trip to day 2, day 1 trip comes up.  The app will allow me to create new trips, but I cannot add any of them to our passes.

I need to book my reservation for the tgv together with a friend, but if we do it seperately we are not sitting together. How can we do it so we can sit next to each other?

Hi! I got an eurail greek islands pass and I´m planning to use it in two weeks, but the delivery date is 10th of June. Do you know if there is a possibility of receiving it before that date? 

I am staring my interailing trip at the end if June and will be travelling from Manchester  to Brussels (via London /eurostar)I am trying to reserve seats via GWR site on the avanti train from Manchester to London. I have the option to reserve seats prior or post the date I travel  but not on my date if travel. Is this common that certain dates aren't available and is there  another way to reserve seats?

Hello Team,I have eurail global pass.Thanks in advance.1) Can you please tell me Geneve station and Geneve airport station, as I will be coming by plane which station is nearest to me, 2) please find below the route I will be taking, should I reserve for only Geneve Aeroport to Luzerne , then getting down at station I book Luzerne to dallenwile, or should I save whole journey, if that happens I save whole journey and I miss the train from Luzerne to dallenwile, what will I have to do  

Hey :-)I’m traveling with my to kids from Copenhagen to Paris and from Paris to Barcelona. We are going to stay some days in Camping Bell Sol north of Barcelona. My question is how do I figure out if our Interrail Global Pass covers the trip from Barcelona-Sants to Estación de tren Calella ? I have no idea which railway Company 🙈 and what about metros in Barcelona and Paris is the included ? Looking forward to hearing from someone 😊Marie

Hi guys,I want to make a seat reservation for a train from Marseille to Zurich on the date of July 29, 2023. I kept checking and checking, the system just do not allow me to make any seat reservation. It keeps showing that “Prices for this journey will start to be available 90 days before departure.”.As of this moment, the local time of Marseile is Sunday, 30 April 2023. Theoractically, the system should allow ppl to do so.Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hello, me and my friend are traveling on the night train from Budapest to Bucharest, the ticket person came and checked our e-tickets and took our paper seat reservation tickets but he never gave them back.Is he supposed to take and keep hold of our seat reservation tickets or are we supposed to get them back? He didn't speak our language and promptly then left down the train. ​​

I am trying to book the Zurich - innsbruck train (Eurocity) for 8:40 - 12:11 but it keeps telling me there is an error. I’m trying to book the Zurich - Innsbruck train (railjet) for 6:40 - 10:11 but this is only available to be delivered by post to my airbnb. Will the ticket arrive on time to the airbnb? I don’t understand how this works. 

My friends and I want to travel from Luzern to Venice on July 17. We were able to book the train from Innsbruck to Venice, but the train from Zurich to Innsbruck keep telling me there is an error when I go to check out. That train is with Eurocity. A train that leaves earlier works fine too but I can’t get mobile tickets, only delivery by post and it’s asking for the Airbnb address. Will the tickets be sent there in time? Or should I book the train on a different website?

We are trying to reserve sleeper tickets from Stuttgart to Ljubliana on 27th July. Every site we have tried says ‘not available’ or something similar. We have tried eurrail, DB, OBB etc. We know the train exists and we are inside the booking window. In fact if we try any train between now and then, we get the same message. Interestingly OBB seems to have tickets in the opposite direction??? So what’s going on? How can we reserve these couchettes? Can anybody help?
