Get ready to travel

Hello Everyone,  I am travelling to Europe (France, Switzerland & Italy) for 15 days starting from July 7 - July 22 2023. For my trip I am buying a flexi 10 day eurorail pass. During my trip my 1st day of euro rail pass would be on 11th July when I will be travelling from Paris to Lucerne. But I will be visiting Disneyland on 10th July and want to avail the euro rail pass discount on the ticket. My question is do i need to consume my one day to get this discount at disneyland or just having the pass would be enough to get the discount? Please note my first day of euro rail pass (mobile Pass) will be on 11 July so technically that will be the day I will activate it but I will be buying it in few days. TIA Sidharth 

HelloI bought a four day pass and I would like some help because I have some doubt if I activated correctly my pass or not.I have made seat reservations without difficulty and I received them by email as PDFs file from Intrerrail. But I cannot see these tickets on my mobile phone thanks to “My trip” window. I have no “show tickets” button like explained in an email I received. Do you think it is a problem? Or must I add these tickets through the Rail Planner application?Here is attached what is displayed on my phone when I go to “My Pass” (I have hidden the pass number and my name).I cannot display something like a QRcode showing the Pass itself. (wen I go to “details” window there is nothing else which is displayed excepted my ID number and my birth date)I think that my pass is not activated. Hello guys :) ,I want to travel on 10 August from Stockholm at 21:56 to Gällivare at 13:01. I own an interrail Ticket. I read that for a Night Train I only have to use one day of the ticket (in this case 10.8). But at 10am I have to change train in Boden (11.08). Is my Ticket (10.08) still valid for the new train? I want to book it on sj.seThank you :)) Thanks

pls help me I’m so lost here. I need to get from north Italy to Barcelona on July 5th and I wish to do it by night train. I found this train through eurail https://shop.italiarail.com/options?departureStationId=830001700&arrivalStationId=830012041&departureDate=2023-07-05&adults=1&children=1&railcardType=0 but I don’t understand anything. It shows me the same prices that I see in their site, so eurail is no good here? how do I find a night train ( without changes) that gets me to barcelona (or even anywhere, just for the night train experience)?

We are travelling tomorrow in the Thalys from Brussels-Midi to Gare du Nord. My seat reservation is for 9422 but the train number coming up in the rail planner is 9322. The trains appear to be the exact same schedule. Is it the same train or do I need to somehow find the 9422 in the planner? If it is the same will it be an issue that my ticket is 9322 but my reservation is for 9422? Thanks!

CAN I USE EURAIL GLOBAL PASS FOR TRAIN FROM PARIS TO AMSTERDAM?

​Hello, we have bought two Eurail global mobile passes (1st class) and have encountered difficulty making seat reservation for two trains:(1) from Geneve to Paris Gare De Lyon departs at 08:29 on 26 May 2023 (TGV 9764; 1st class seat); and(2) from London St Pancras Intl to Paris Nord departs at 15:31 on 4 June 2023 (ES 9036; 1st class seat). After inputt​​ing billing address, credit card information and all travellers’ details, we got an error message “Something went wrong” when proceeding with the payment for seat reservation (see the screenshot below), and thus could not complete the payment. We also tried refreshing the page, using an incognito browser and cleaning cookies/temporary files but still did not work. Please advise how the issue could be resolved. Many thanks in advance.  

I live in Switzerland and have a general pass, so I can travel on any train in the whole country without buying additional tickets. I want to buy a one country pass for italy 4 days to go visit my boyfriend in Rome two weekends during a month. Now, since by buying it I could travel without buying an additional ticket in Switzerland and in Italy, but not from Switzerland to Italy and back, I need to buy a ticket to get through the border. My question is, can I buy one ticket from the last stop before the border in Switzerland to the first stop after the border in Italy (Como) or do I need to buy the ticket from the stop I get on the train to the stop i get off (Milan)?

Hi, I am going from Interlaken to Paris on the 4th May with my pass but I don’t know the best way as it saying not in pass network. 

Hi, I read online that it is possible to book reservations on trainplanet.com for like trains in France, Italy, FR-DE and others. I looked now the website, you have to select that you have an Interrail pass and you get the reservation cost. But I don't know if this is a new service or if it is linked to eurail.com/interrail.eu reservation service.Prices only in Swedish Krona.Like for trains in Germany it asks 65 SEK, DE-FR TGV/ICE 290 SEK or TGVs in France 211 SEK.

The train from s’Hertogenbosch to Basel on 26 april, 10.09 is visible in the Eurorail app on my i-pad but not visible in the app on my phone. I want to add this journey to my pass. What to do? (I know that i can add the journey manually)

I bought 3 global passes, and just noticed I’ve been double charged in my credit card. I have two charges of $1,074. I delivered my information to a bot, but haven’t received any response. This seems to be something that happens a lot.

I’ve received two automated responses that someone would assist, but I haven’t received any follow-up in the past month.I was mistakenly charged twice for my reservations and would like the second charge reversed. I'm trying to book a seat reservation for a train from Paris nord to Amsterdam and its sold out I tried to book throw Thalys and I found out some trains with available seat reservation in different times than the times available in the eurail application So if I booked a seat reservation separately for the times that they are not excited in the eurail global app is that possible? and do I need to use a travel day regardless the availability in the app And once I booked a seat reservation throw Thalys do I have to do any thing else in the eurail app Thanks 

We are travelling in July and have a first class pass. Just wondering which type/company to travel on as we have a few long journeys and want to make it as comfortable as possible. Our journeys are as follows. May seem a bit jumbled but we have certain events that we are attending. I did purchase a EU Global Pass for 4 days. I would like to check if I can travel from Roma Termini to Fiumicino Airport by my pass without a reservation?This question actually applies for other routes within Italy as well. For instance, I reserved a trip already but on that day, I miss my train. Can I jump on the next train without purchase another reservation?

Hello! I'm unhappy with my purcahse of the passes... I just bought two adult passes because I know our 2 year old travels free with adults. However, only now starting to make seat reservations i realized its not possible to book our child her own seat without adding her in an adult pass - which apparently is not possible anymore. It is VERY MISLEADING that when purchasing passes the only option for a free child pass is for a 4-11 year old. So of course i didn’t pick this. Should I have picked this for our 2 year old if I wanted to make seat reservations for her? I was very thorough when planning the trip and the interrail passes and still this didn’t come up beforehand. 

Has anyone sent luggage to their final destination? 

Seat reservation isn’t working for our trip. Please advise as we are getting a circular path with no answers.

Hi, I read some news today about how getting from Bardonecchia to Modane on Masdom.There is a bus every hour via the street tunnel. They start right after the arrival of the local train from Turin to Modane. Same for the rides Modane-Bardonecchia, they are connecting to the local trains to Turin.This is a good way to avoid the only train for Interrail/Eurail users on this route the TGV.Cost: 3,40 EUR, pay at the bus driver.Only Monday to Saturday. Does not run on italian holidays.  #Modane 🇨🇵/ #Bardonecchia 🇮🇹 is a border very hard to cross for Interrailers. There are no regional trains and Interrail reservations for highspeed services are limited (TGV) or not possible (Freccia). If you weren't successful at getting a reservation/promo ticket, there is a mini-bus shuttling on Mondays to Saturdays between Modane and Bardonecchia through the Fréjus road tunnel. Hi, imlooking to travel fromGlasgow( Scotland) to London, then onto either Brussels or Paris in one day. Then after a few w days , onto to south of France for about 5 days then possibly Italy for a few days then back to glasgow via London. Taking about 10-12 days in total. Would the pass cover that?  Would I need to book pass then try and book reservations? Does it work to abs from Glasgow? 

If I am able to search for a smaller city and it is findable to add to an itinerary, does that mean it is indeed part of the global pass?

Hello, I’ll be traveling from Netherlands to Belgrade, Serbia this summer. My final destination is Athens, Greece, but I do not know how to go about. I understand taking the train from Belgrade to Athens is not possible as there is no connection, I know there is a bus but I would rather travel by train as soon as I entered Greece.I was thinking to take a bus from Belgrade to Thessaloniki and then from Thessaloniki a train to Athens, however, this does not show up in the DiscoverEU app. I can not figure out if these trains are actually running. Can someone give me some advice?
