April 23. VERY frustrating, no trains operate currently in  Albania and N Macedonia. Am hoping against hope that one route from.Podgorica in Montenegro to Belgrade might be operative so will.enquire this weekend when we get there Message from me- forget trains, plan your route by bus. Plenty of those but largely demands on the spot sorting out, and finding where to buy tickets and the location of the bus station not obvious.

Hi! Im traveling from Canada - Can we use the Global Train pass to travel within the cities? or just to outside towns and other cities?  what pass would I need to take busses and trains within city limits? 

How can I get a refund form Deutsche Bahn for my seat reservations. ( due to a strike the train doesn't run). Deutsche Bahn says I can refund the seat reservations, but I got them through interrail, and the refund page of interrail says DB doesn't refund them  .

I am trying to do the seaet reservation from OSLO to Myrdal  5 May 6:25.But the web always loading for a long time, then showed “ Price unavailable”. I checked VY, they have seat available. Can I directly book the seat from VY?  I have to keep the pass no activate until I can book the seat?

Hi everyone, sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, I just couldn’t find it…So, we live in Germany and are planning to get a One Country Pass for France to visit some friends in September. Can we use the pass for the outgoing train from Germany and the inbound train on our way back? I know this is possible with the Global Pass, just not sure about the One Country ones…Thanks in advance!

My friend and I both bought a 2-months Global Pass. We are going to travel together for 45 days, then she will depart to her home country, and I will continue to use the Pass for remaining 15 days.I am going to put both Passes on to my iPhone, as she doesn’t use a mobile device.My question is: Would my Pass still working as normal, after she left? Would I get into any problems, as I have two Passes on my device, but only one person travel, after she left? 

I can already book a seat reservation for the thalys via b europe with my interrail pass for the 28th of july. Via the interrail website itself there is not yet an option. Is it fine to book the reservation with your interrail ticket via the official b-europe thalys website?

HiI am finding ticket reservations for trains in Spain to be challenging, Can anyone advise?I understand long distance/high speed trains in Spain need reservations. You must collect reservations within 72 hrs of booking, at a station in Spain. However these reservations are released to general public 24 hrs before departure and therefore you loose the reservation, if not collected 24 hrs before departure. I am also told there are no charges for reservationsMy first station is Barcelona and I want to go straight on to Madrid I cannot use a reservation because my arrival will be less than 24 hrs from departure.It appears the only solution is for me to go to the ticket office in Barcelona and show my Interail pass and hope there are seats that I can use to get to Madrid. Is this correct?Then if there are seats available I presume these are free with my Interrail pass- Is this also correct. If I am missing something please advise. Thanks Malcolm  

Currently in Amsterdam and about to use my pass for the first time. I noticed at the station you need a ticket to scan at the turnstiles to access the platforms. Is this where I scan the QR for that day in my pass? Also I need to buy a supplement, can I do that on the train??

I have a Eurail Pass. When I try to use it to reserve a seat on the Golden Pass trains in Switzerland, I get the message, “Pass Not Valid”.If I reserve a seat using the Golden Pass train website, will my Eurail Pass be accepted as the ticket?

I bought a pass for 4 people Is it necessary for each of the passengers to have the app installed on their cell phones or can a single person report the trips to everyone?

 I am trying to reserve this train. I try to buy it online but then I’m rejected and the Eurail site says something like one of your legs is not available….etc. this is the third train in my trip I’m trying to reserve, and am getting constantly rejected or running into issues as a foreign traveler. I really don’t get why everything looks so simple on the planner, and then when you try to actually do something, there’s tiny details that restrict you from booking and are forced to just figure it out if you can when you’re in person. So frustrated already. Bought a Eurail pass because i made a trip with the planner, now considering returning it because nothing is really working out. Am i better off getting a flight?

I planned to travel on Friday the 21.04.23 from Hamburg 06:34 through Munich to Verona Porta Nuova arriving at 18:58 the same day, using my outbound-journey from Germany.Because of the announced strikes in Germany on friday morning, I plan to go to Munich already on Thursday evening with another train and continue my journey on Friday as planned from Munich when the strike is finished. But this way I would need to use 2 outbound-journeys instead of one.What are my possibilites to ressolve this problem? I assume I can't take the train on Thursday, with my planned ticket for friday, because it will not be activated at that point?        Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi, 3rd time Interrailer here, currently travelling Eastern Europe and quite happy with what Interrail/Eurail has to offer here.However, today there was a minor inconvenience:In the Interrail App, I added a trip from „Cesky Krumlov“ to „Ceske Budejovice“. The connection showed up normally, I was able to add it like any other valid connection and the app didn’t say anything like „Not in pass or network“ (see image below) as is usually the case when a train is not included in the pass.However, after I boarded the train (on August 2, 2022) and showed my Interrail Ticket, I was told by the train ticket controller that Interrail was not valid here in trains of GW TrainRegio and that we all had to buy another ticket. Why does Interrail not display the usual warning in the app here? The train company‘s ticket controlling lady said that they wrote to Interrail asking them to do that, but that they still hadn‘t done so.In my humble opinion, we should not have to research each train company’s de

We are a group of 4 travelling together; we’ll have our mobile passes on our own phones. I have created the trip and added it to my pass, and I have now duplicated it - but when I try and connect it to another mobile pass it only gives me an option to connect to a Paper Pass and asks for a paper pass cover number. How do I duplicate the trip (three times) so that we can all connect it to our mobile passes?Thanks in advance for any help

If a train gets cancelled in France can I rebook my trains without losing a travel day? It’s especially for my return trip, I wouldn’t want to pay extra for a train the following day because of no more travelling days available...

Hello, I just lost my wallet with all my cards in it. I’m in the middle of using my 2month Interrail Global Pass (mobile pass, not paper), so I’d really like to know if I can still continue traveling with my passeport (even if the number doesn't match) or if I can, in that case, replace it ?I have tried reaching out to the Interrail customer service but nobody responds, and I don’t even receive a confirmation email that my request has been sent. So, I’m a bit lost…I’d really appreciate any help/information, Thank you!   

I made a seatreservation from Basel to Chiasso. This train, the EC151, goes to Milan. That's the city where We have to go. But a reservation from Chiasso to Milan is impossible when ik look at the trainorganisations ÖBB, DB and NS international. How do I solve this problem?  It's the same train so We can stay in the train. Or what can We do?The day of travelling is 27th of July. 

Hello,I bought my pass, I added it on the application, I chose the trips I want to use and I activated my travel days but I can't book my seats.Example, the train between Paris and Zurich on August 6th 2023 which leaves at 10:22 

Anyone have knowledge about making seat reservations (only) for travel by OBB ‘RJX’ trains between Wien and Innsbruck over the weekend of 22/23 April. The usual booking platforms, including oebb, offer various tickets to buy but not reservations only - all options train choices give “Ticket not available”.

I booked a ticket from Bari to patras with interrail discount. Do I need to spend one day from my pass for ferry? Because it was just a discount. Can anyone help me about this topic? If it’s not countable I’ll use my pass day for another ticket. Thanks in advance :) 

We purchased Train Tickets from WIEN (Vienna) to Salzburg.  The Tickets are good for any train for 48 hours. We want to purchase Seat Reservations for either the 9:28 AM, or the 9:55 AM Direct Train (RJ and RJX). When we go through the process on the Website, the two times that we are interested in show “Ticket Not Available”. The ICE (Intercity) Trains that leaves at 9:15am, and 10:13am have openings for Seat Reservations. But the ICE Trains have over 30 stops between Vienna and Salzburg, and take over an hour longer, than the Direct Trains (at 9:28am & 9:55am).This is for May 15th, a Monday. When i look for the same times (928, and 955) on other Mondays before and after May 15th there have been opennings.Is there something special about Monday May 15th, that they would not open up Seat Reservations for 928 and 955 am Train?If we show up, without Seat Reservations, do the Trains tend to be full? Or are there normally open seats?Someone told us that because 928 and 955 are popular

Hello, I’m trying to book a sleeper couchette from Frankfurt to Prague on 27th April, I’m travelling with my wife and 7 month old son, so I want comfortable travel option here.I’m not seeing an option to book the sleeper couchette in DB, it shows reservations not possible and book without reservation which is not an ideal option.Can anyone please helpout here with best option to book or have any alternative options?
