Bought my first ever Interrail Pass (Global Pass) today. First trip will be The Hague to Labenne in France. The planner gives a trip with a 5 minute connection time on Rotterdam Centraal (stoptrein to Thalys). So isn't it better to take an earlier train from The Hague to Rotterdam? And can I use that earlier train as an outbound trip?
Does anyone know when I can book a high speed train from Tirano to Florence for September 7th
Hi, just trying to clarify how outbound / inbound travel can be used. From UK, would I be allowed to travel from Edinburgh to London and then eurostar to Paris, as my outbound journey if all in one day, or only the Eurostar leg? And if I did either of these and no more travel that day, does it count as one of my (probably 7) travel days? Thanks!
Hi,I am new and finding this all very complicated, honestly wishing I had never bought the pass.I have a mobile global first class pass and planning to travel next week.I have read loads of previous questions and have been searching trips, adding them to My Trip and then to My Pass to show tickets.Really appreciate some help to my questions-1) I have read that although I have a ticket, it doesn’t guarantee a seat on the train, for trips with no reservations needed, do I now have to find out the train company and see if I can make reservations?2) My pass shows a bar code for the day with several trips, does that ticket/bar code cover every trip for the day?3) Do all trains have first class carriages? Trips without reservations, do I just look for seats in first class and if none available, go to 2nd class?4) Some trips have a very short transfer to change trains, is there a way of finding out platform numbers before arriving so I don’t miss the train?I am so confused and with only havin
On our mobile pass, stands EXPired. We planned our trip for this tuesday! What to do? We could use it up to the end of May! All the trips stands in the schedule.
Hi,I got awarded with my Inter-rail pass in June 2022, claiming that pass’s due day for activation to be May 2023 and the last day for use to be June 2023.I haven’t used any of my traveled days nor used a train but the app says that my Pass has expired although I haven’t used it yet.I was planning to use in on February so I need urgent help.I would be glad if anyone were to help.
Hi. I’ve seen on here that its not possible to reserve seats online for Zagreb - Split trains. Would anyone who’s been interrailing in Croatia recommend booking reservations on the day, or taking an alternate route? We are travelling in May. Thank you!
My interrail pass expired like 3 days ago and I did not get the chance to activate it (because I didn’t event knew that I had to do that). I tried to reach costumer support and they did not try to help me. If there’s anyone who had the same problem and has a solution please let me know. Please don’t answer if you did not have the same problem.
My pass expired about a week ago. I forgot to book my first trip. Is there anything I can do? It was a 3 months pass 😔.
I live in Northern Ireland. Given that the whole island of Ireland is regarded as a single entity for Interrail purposes does this mean that a Global pass which I buy would be valid for unlimited travel in Great Britain? Similarly, am I able to buy a Great Britain single country pass (as would be the case if I lived in the Republic of Ireland)?
I have a Eurail Pass (30 day travel) and I am trying to book from Copenhagen to Berlin hbf on an overnight.I am going to the DSB reservation site and I put in all the relative data in (passengers, age, etc...) but I can not find how to put in the fact I have a Eurail Pass into this booking!Question... Where do I submit the fact I have a Eurail Pass? Thank you and TIA!!
Can you advise me on how to use my Eurorail Pass for a trip from Paris to Bern.Do we need to make a reservation? Can we make the reservation the day before? What would be the best route? Thank you
I have a Global Pass and have already used it to travel to Amsterdam and now going to Germany and Italy in a few weeks but on the app its says the outbound/inbound 2/2.I am based in the UK so taking the Eurostar to Paris and then onwards.Thing is I have already got and paid for seat reservations for my Germany and Italy trips including the Eurostar legsI contacted customer services and they said I can still travel within Germany and Italy with my Global Pass but my Eurostar journeys won’t be allowed (even though I have printed tickets for them)Can I still used my Eurostar tickets as buying brand new ones directly with Eurostar is between £150-200 for the dates selected for my Germany and Italy trip.
I’m planning on using an Interrail Pass to go from Frankfurt to Béziers this August. My question is, how high my chances are for getting a seat reservation for all of the members of my group, we’re 10 people (!). We’re planning on first going Frankfurt → Paris then Paris → Béziers.Interrail only allows us to book tickets 90 days in advance, I am scared that this may be too late given the busyness of trains to France in August. Does anybody have any experience or tips?Best wishes, Vlad
I have a first class Interail ticket. Can I use the DB lounge in Berlin hbf before my journey ?Many thanks.
Hello everyone, we’re looking to book a train on the 21st of April from Ljubljana to Zagreb. On the rail planner app there is a direct train available at 8:30am although I don’t know where to book a seat reservation. I’ve looked on the seat reservation section of the community page and then tried to book through the OBB app but the only train showing up on the OBB app for 8:30 isn’t direct. Can anyone give me any guidance on where to book seat reservations as on the app it says it’s required or is a seat reservation even needed?! thank you guys for your help!
Hello!Apparently there is a supplement required when travelling from Munich to Verona (or between Germany and Italy in general). On this site there is info that says the supplement is included if I book seat reservations through the Eurail self-reservation tool which I did and the price was 10€pp which apparently is exactly the supplement amount. However, there was supposed to be a text “supplement included” printed on the ticket. There is no such text. However it says “ticket + reservation” on the top. So is the supplement now paid or not, does anyone know? Thanks!-Anna
Hello, I have reserved the seats for NJ 402 train from Zurich to Amsterdam but unfortunately that train does not exist in the rail planner app. I can’t add manual journeys since it disappears immediately after I close the app. I can see one journey IC 60402 which is the same train with seating instead of sleeper. Can I add that train and show the barcode to ticket checker and travel in sleeper coach since I reserved that one?please advise if you have any experience since I am traveling soon.
Is there a limit re luggage? Can I travel with a bike in a bike bag?
This might sound silly... I booked to and from Eurostar tickets last month on b-europe.com and it went perfectly fine… Now I'm trying to book a NJ from Austerlitz to Nice Ville and I just can't seem to remember where I selected the Eurail discount. The only difference is that last time I did it on the laptop and this time I'm using the B Europe app on an Android. But that shouldn't make a difference, right? Right now its only showing the following discount card options:Regards.
I have bought a 7-day Eurail pass for June-July travel in Italy-Switzerland. The pass does not apply to local/regional trains but question I have is when it is stated Reservations are needed - is this just for a seat - or can the Eurail pass still be used e.g. standing room where accepted without that reservation?eg. travel Rome Airport station to Roma Tiburtina on 26 June 2023 Other question isNo seat reservation is available anyway for above travel on Eurail search engine- is this because it is too early being now 16th April trying to book for 26/6/23? I read somewhere timetables become enfixed 2 months in advance?
Hello everyone,We live in Hamburg, Germany. My wife and I bought two 4 days in 1 month global passes and were planning to use it to travel around Hungary. We used it to go to Budapest but had to cut our journey short and come back. So we used up the outbound/inbound (2 days out of 4). We would like to use the remaining 2 days for a Nordic trip.Since the outbound and inbound are used up, can we book a rail ticket from Hamburg to a Danish border town like Padeborg and from Padeborg switch over to our global passes? Because once we are out of Germany which is our country of residence, we can start using the global pass again. So, we get on the Hamburg to Copenhagen direct train, reserve seats all the way from Hamburg to Copenhagen, but we buy rail tickets only from Hamburg to Padeborg. At Hamburg, we show the ticket checker these rail tickets. Can they then question us about why our seats are reserved until Copenhagen? And then at Padeborg, we start a travel day and then select the same tr
Hi, I’m looking at booking a 4 day Interrail pass for me and my children who are 10 and 7. According to website this pass is around £220 and the children don’t need to pay, is this correct? Also the 4 days travel will be one day from London to Barcelona, another day from Barcelona to San Sebastián in Spain, another from San Sebastián to Brive la Gallairde and last day from Brive la Gallairde back to London; are all of these routes available with the Interrail pass? Thank you
Hello, while presenting my journey from Utrecht NL to Lissabon Portugal, searching for the best Interrail Pass, a 1 country 3 days pass (1 month) was recommended for 89 euro. I'm not traveling in 1 country, but through 5 countries (including NL). Can someone clarify this for me, please?
Hi Community,I live in Celle, Germany, but because I am already in Sweden, I would like to make the first journey from Sweden to Germany and then back to Sweden two weeks later. Is that possible? Or does the starting point have to be the home country? KRDirk
