Hello, I am looking at planning a portion of our trip from Pontorson to Antibes France using our 2 month global passes.  Im wanting the shortest time for our route which comes up as Pontorson to Rennes to paris Gare de Lyon but from paris Gare de Lyon to Antibes its saying ‘pass not valid - you have to buy a full fare ticket to board’.  Im wondering why we would have to buy another ticket with our passes?Thanks!

Hi. My boyfriend and I will be traveling in Spain in the month of June. We bought non-refundable Eurrail passes before we realized we can’t reserve Renfe seats online. Do you think we will have a problem booking trains in person when we arrive in Spain? We will need Barcelona=>Valencia four days after we arrive, so the earliest we can physically go to the station to buy tickets is four days in advance. We are also going to need Malaga=>Seville and Seville=>Madrid, and those will be about a week and a half/two weeks later. Can we buy all the tickets in person in Barcelona? And do you think we will still be able to get the tickets on short notice? Thank you so much in advance!

Hello,We want to make a chairreservation for 2 adults with interrail tickets first class on 29-07-2023 time 11.12 for the gotthard panoramaexpress (boat and train) direction Lucerne to Lugano. The train only chairreservation and the boat (lucerne-fluelen) with 50% discount. Do we need to book this separate? How can we book this correctly.  

Looking to book from Stuttgart to Interlaken and then Interlaken to Paris and Paris to London UK.Trying to book on Rome 2 Rio but it doesn’t give me an option to use my eurail pass on the website. Any suggestions on other sites to use to book my tickets with my eurail pass?(I have not yet bought eurail pass because I’m not sure how it works when booking tickets)

Hey, ÖBB is sending to Newsletter readers that have a ÖBB Account an email with a coupon with 4 reservations for free for trains with optional reservation of ÖBB. The coupon is automatically linked with your ÖBB account. I tried now to book also DB trains, and it works (I tried till to the “paying” site). I don’t know if everybody with ÖBB account gets this or only people which have also the newsletter. This free reservation works only for trains with optional reservation system, and in the text it says only ÖBB trains. You have to book a reservation till 11th of September to use this free reservations. 

Hello!   I was born in Ecuador (South America) and currently live there. I also have an Italian citizenship because of my father. As I have an European passport, but live outside Europe, should I buy the Eurail or the Interail pass?

Hi everyone, I was trying to book seat reservations for some UK trips, however, when it comes to this stage (shown on the picture below), the page doesn't refresh when I click the “continue” button. Has any one had the same issues of it’s just me? I did switch to different browsers and it was the same.  

When I buy the 4 days in one month ticket, is it activated since the date of the purchase or does it start with the first day of travel?

Hi everyone,I want to travel from Berlin to Bath(in the UK).I know that if I were to book over Deutsche Bahn this trip takes about 10 hours, especially because part of the trip is to go directly from Berlin to Cologne with an ICE (fast train).With the Rail planner it's ca. 15 to 18 hours, because it only proposes slow trains for basically the same trajectory. Is there a way to put together a route of my choice with the specific trains of my choice and still just only use one travel day of my pass, if yes, how would I do that? I'd still have to take 3 different trains with the quicker connection. But I don't know how to book this as one connection.I have the Interrail Global pass - flexi pass 4 days within one month.I'd be super thankful for any advice!!

I have the interrail pass and travelling to Paris on the weekend. The last train needs seat reservation but I cannot reserve through the app. It says “Pass holder reservation may be sold out”I have everything planned and really cannot cancel my travel! Is there any other way I can get the seat reservation?Thanks!

Hi.  I can only find passes within one country or all 33 countries.  I was looking to buy a pass for two bordering countries.  I thought these used to exist.  Have they been eliminated? Thanks for the help.

hi, i have some questions.first, if i buy the 7 tay global pass, the outbound and the inbound days are already in the 7 (aka i have to use 2 of them) or are them other two?second, can i take more than one train in my outbound travel if i can’t go out with only one train?thank you ;)

Hi, i would like to know what is the best itinerary to take to go from France to the mainland Greece?I general, how long does it take and what pass should i buy? There are no itineraries indicated on the website that's why i would like to know if someone who has done this trip before could help me. Thank you a lot!

Hi,I want to buy the 4 days in one month ticket.I would travel overnight, does it count as one day because the journey is in the frame of 24 hrs or does ist count as two days because it covers two days in the calender?Thanks!Best wishesEllen 

Hey there,might be a stupid question, but it really matters to me.I have a 2 month global pass and in the Railplanner-App it says “Activate this pass by 19th April”. Just to make sure: I can activate it ON the 19th april, right? I dont have to do it UNTIL 19th April?I am a bit nervous about my trip, so I just wanted to make sure not to be 1 Day too late :DThank you very much.P.

Does it matter that I can’t book on the Eurail pass site and therefore can’t see the trips on my pass app? Both times I have booked a night train.The first from Berlin to Budapest we had to have a seat reservation and booked it through OBB using our pass details. Then the second, from Amsterdam to Zurich, showed it was available and included but wouldn’t let me choose it to make the seat reservation that was recommended - ie my cart was empty. So I have also booked on OBB. Just wondering if it matters that I can’t book them on my pass. Or if I am doing something wrong/not seeing something obvious in the process.Thanks, any help appreciated!

I’m a student from outside Europe studying abroad (on exchange) in Switzerland for 4 months. I just bought a Global Pass for a trip to Germany but noticed belatedly that I had bought the Interrail pass instead of the Eurail one, probably because I indicated Switzerland as my country of residence. I have not yet received my residence card, but I do have proof of registration at the Resident’s Office here. Seeing as I will likely have to activate my pass on 6/7 Apr (in a few days), I am a bit anxious and would like to seek reassurance that I don’t have to exchange my Interrail pass for an Eurail one. In short, can I use the Interrail pass I bought despite not having a European passport? I really don’t want to get fined.

My daughter is traveling and I’m at home trying to help her. She is in London and needs to get to Barcelona. She has the 15 days in 2 months global pass. We do not understand the app or where she needs to go to get her seat reservations. Can someone make this simple for us and explain it step by step? thank you! 

I saw that some travels need “seat reservation”, how can I make this reservation ?
